  6. Most definitely; hard to believe we have hit Friday already! One week in the basket!
  7. I am so beyond ready to see Cady McClain in her first-ever original daytime role.
  8. I find it interesting Karla Mosley is credited as Dani Dupree Hamilton per yesterday's end credits. Hmm....
  9. I am kind of hoping Michele Val Jean is smarter than that, especially in 2025.
  10. Either way, it does not have to be from outside of the marriage, as you previously stated. A child could have been born pre-marriage. And easily, Anita could have possibly been with a sibling/family member of Vernon's prior to them getting together, etc. I'd hate that kind of storytelling, but it's a viable option. Or a child could change their name; no one said the child needed to be a Dupree by blood.
  11. Does it, though? It could have been from either Anita and/or Vernon pre-marriage.
  12. Thanks for sharing this; love seeing continued press media coverage!
  13. Seeing Dani, Nicole, and Vanessa having breakfast at the Country Club was nice. Dani vs. Hayley is going to be a constant ongoing theme, and it's not going to matter when, where, why, or how! It's going to happen! Naomi vs. Bill is something that I feel like is going to be juicy. Headstrong daughter vs. headstrong father. Classic. I love the iPhone template; it's so much better than post-production on phone edits, or split screens, etc. A nice unique touch they have. The new iPhones? So good! Those Ebony magazine covers? And the mention of runway models?! So, so good. "You are the oldest, most disgusting cliché in the book!" Oh, what a powerpunch of a line. And from his daughter? wow. The juice. The DRAMA, MAMA! This is GOOD! The hospital room felt very real; I feel like I've been in several like this one. Dani is a super stage mom, and it shows. The amount of personalities she has is endless. I knew Dana would offer Eva to replace Laura... and that's her IN! I called it. Andre has that smooth-talking playboy appeal to him. Ooh, Dani has her plaything in André. Loving this. That male worker with Bill & Tom (welcome!) is a creeper. Is this "Mike" from the casting breakdowns?! Because it's giving that. Not the tap of the glass with a knife. I'd break the thing. Red and blue are Dani's colours; she wears them both extremely well. Chelsea is about to get set up for something nefarious with this bar rando; the writing is on the wall. I love seeing Ashley question things; it feels realistic of how some go from school to the real world and it becomes reality. Ben does not work for me. But Ashley is a complete mood. So Andre's father is the police chief? Some kind of nepotism? Interesting. Poppers?! Something else is gonna go POP, isn't it?! "I only plan on getting married once." Well, you're doomed for six-plus marriages! Oh, we've got Tiffany blue?! We got money!! Multiple loves scenes in one episode?! Oh now!!!
  14. Credits for Thursday, February 27, 2025: Created by: Frank & Doris Hursley Executive producer: Frank Valentini Head writers: Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten Writers: Micah Steinberg, Stacey Pulwer, Cathy Lepard Director: Gary Tomlin
  15. Exactly! Plus, being produced in Georgia as a brand new soap gives them the license to create their own unique-looking soap, which I think is the best avenue for them. They don't have the same problems the other four soaps have. I mean, when AMC went from New York to Los Angeles, yes, [some] things changed, but overall it looked like the same show in terms of filming/production, which I am sure they needed to maintain. With Beyond the Gates, we don't have that. We've already seen some new filming angles and techniques in how they're establishing their own visual look. And I enjoy it a lot; I mostly watch on CBS.com during live airing, and last night, I took a look via Paramount+, and it looks twice as good on my 4KTV in comparison to CBS.com's airing or even the YouTube clips being posted.
  16. SARAH GOT ME!!! If you know the reference, then this cuts DEEP!
  17. The production is definitely different from the four other soaps, all produced in Los Angeles, where they've always been based since their premieres. We have to keep in mind: this is a new soap, in a new production location. And they don't have the predetermined production model the others have. They can and are doing things their own ways, and that's exciting.
  18. I agree; I took it as she's had on this front of being "strong" and "angry," and in her true moments of silence she was able to crack and release that.
  19. Only three episodes in and we're on page 70. WHEW.
  20. Now this is what I am talking about!! For specials barely promoted for a full week, they did great. This gives amazing promise for the show itself!!!
  21. Vanessa is unhappy in her marriage, per the breakdown of the role, and in the casting announcement. So...
  22. The one in the car is Doug McBride, the husband of Vanessa. And the other is Randy Parker. Both are recurring players.
