  1. Haha. *watches the episode* Okay everyone, dinner time! Let's eat!
  2. They don't have a budget, period. Just be happy it looks better than it did during the "green" era. Haha. It's not even just Wright... it's everyone's hair. It seems like it's all "rush jobs" now, and it's off-putting. Just feels like the finishing of everyone's hair isn't paid attention to. Poor Becky Herbst is giving Sally Field's "football helmet" hair in Steel Magnolias for the better part of the past year or two.
  3. Michael Muhney (ex-Adam Newman, Y&R) is a school teacher these days, teaching theater, and is still close to cast members from the soap.
  4. I am sure the lawsuit is [likely] what's keeping them from recasting the role. At this point, anything regarding Jax will just be put into his lawsuit against Disney/ABC. He won't get hired again. He sued his former employer after acting the way he acted. That's a no-no for any job. He's proven himself a liability for employment. It's like when people call for Victoria Rowell to be hired back at Y&R... she sued CBS, Sony Pictures Television, Bell Dramatic Serial Company and Bell-Phillip Television Production Inc, and then eventually Corday Productions.
  5. I would, too, but even she's stated her curls are too hard to maintain, continuity-wise, and Carly is more straight hair than curly. As someone with curly hair I can tell you.... no two days are ever the damn same, lmao. I will say, in watching 2018/2019 episodes, it does feel as if the hair department has become... less dutiful with their duties, re: Wright's hair. I don't know if it's based on her length, but it doesn't feel as "done" as it did before.
  6. I think in the past few years she's definitely leveled on the bleach in comparison to previous years. And I did love the strawberry blonde/red hue she temporarily shorted during the Griffin era/facial scar era. So stunning. And despite the cheap-ass wig, brunette worked well on her, as well.
  7. She really does have some of the nicest hair in daytime. But ultimately, the one actress who can pull off every hairstyle is Maura West in my book. She's had it super long, super short, etc.
  8. I'm just happy that now she keeps her hair grown out a bit. I know it's a silly thing, but... it just kept getting shorter and shorter, and very jagged in cut. I'd actually love to see Laura Wright chop her hair off again; I remember when she did it in 2013, and just how cute it was!
  9. Definitely not failed; what I consider failed is The Revolution. The Talk had some pretty solid success, but I'd wager its repeated panel changes⏤which I always praised their consistent panels in comparison to The View⏤as on of its strong suits.
  10. Oh. That wasn't even the worst of her hairstyles. Absolutely brilliant!
  11. They re-hired Steve Burton because he was smart: he kept his mouth shut, didn't bad-mouth his former employer and moved on accordingly. I don't necessarily agree with the re-hiring, but he [publicly] played the game right. Rademacher, on the other hand, displayed his disgusting behaviour, and continues to do so. It's hilarious they state they replaced him with another actor when that is not the case at all. Hilarious to me. He does realize he won't be re-hired, right? Like, this won't make ABC re-hire him, right? He basically sold-off his career. I mean, he should've been fired after he outed himself for being a terrorist (by supporting the January 6th terroristic attack on the Capital), and for his beyond disgusting behaviour on social media. Roseanne Barr got fired for her comments, so Rademacher should have been, as well.
  12. I mean, I get the frustration. The characters of colour did get treated quite shite on the show, ie: Hazel altogether. Even Andrea Lewis (Hazel Aden). But Aubrey Graham (refuse to call him by his musical stage name) got some good story-telling. I mean, who doesn't remember Jimmy Brooks being shot?! I mean, Jimmy got SHOT because of Spinner. Like?
  13. Not a clue; suddenly, about a month or so ago, Hulu doesn't play the jingle and doesn't always play the bumper. LMAO. So many poor hairstyles for Maxie back in the day. The over-blonde, the short pixie styles, etc.
  14. It was a genuine shock... however, for some reason, my Hulu [sometimes] doesn't do the dun-da-da-da jingle, or even the bumper, and goes directly to the episode. Quite interesting, but am so happy it's Anna now! I barely remember the scenes they shared last time. But it'd be nice to see done but, I'm really sold on Maxie & Spinelli being re-paired.... surprisingly.
  15. If she hadn't been re-paired with Spinelli, I'd be open to a potential re-pairing with Lucky under Jonathan Jackson's portrayal.
  16. The continued, online social media tirade against her is something else. People think, behind a keyboard, they can just spew-off because it's the "thing to do". I'm glad she's continuing to speak for herself as much as she can. I know one day we'll get her full side of the story.
  17. That's my thought: you'd have to extend contacts, etc. and you run the risk of people [likely] already securing other job opportunities, etc.
  18. I loved the call-out, but hate who gave it to him. The change in Maxie, script-wise, has ben... outstanding. The re-pairing with Spinelli actually put some spunk back into the character that had been missing since pre-Nathan.
  19. Thanks so much for posting!! A short, yet poignant tribute! Very heartfelt, as well.
