It just felt like a "meh" pairing, plus, I'm neither an Anthony Geary or Luke Spencer fan, so it was a "NO" pairing for me. I appreciated the poor-use of history, though. 🤣 I attribute it to the loss of Robin (in my head) for justifying that lapse in Anna's judgment.

Pretty sure Nichols would've been used for a "Hi bye" situation, and that's not what he wanted. Oh God, did you need to remind us of Duke/Lucy? Ugh. That's almost as vomit-worthy as Anna/Luke. Ron clearly said "let's throw names into a hat, and as they come out... pair them!" Would have hated to see where Frisco would have paired had he stayed beyond a limited guest run. 🤣 I'm kind of glad Lynn Herring put her foot down and said she wouldn't stay if she were limited to the Nurses' Ball, and for the most part that has stuck.

I wouldn't be surprised if they swapped Stavros/Stefan for the Lulu storyline. Either way, it was a creepy storyline. He wasn't. He had just left Y&R as Tucker McCall. He didn't return to DAYS until 2015.

Yeah, it's a damn shame it ended. And how it wasn't a possible re-visit when Nichols was approached for the 50th. That could have been something to lure him in.

Damn. Nichols & Zeman had some real good chemistry. WHEW.

Yup! That would WORK!!!! But we also need writers who can write that kind of scripted richness, and both Korte & Van Etten, with Valentini, don't seem capable of doing that.

That would be better; or seeing them go upstairs, knowing what they're going to do, and either them "going to bed" afterwards, or talking about it out of the dang bed. Setton looked beyond uncomfortable in those post-coitus scenes. Swickard looked more comfortable, but... it just didn't look like a happily married couple trying for a baby. Alluding to the act, sometimes, is sexier than post-act or being in-act.

I am wishing him all-the best, but it also feels like a role that'll be exited once the new writing regime arrives in.

At this point, cutting Brook Lynn & Chase wouldn't harm the canvas, regardless of their portrayers IRL viewpoints and beliefs.
