  1. Getting into this right now, with the help of a super-fan of both the series/David Lynch. And, as a result, they are already getting the bill for the therapy I'll need from watching.
  2. I agree. 'Twas I, @Vee! 😉😇 I'm just happy to see colour in the sets; we're avoiding HGTV blue/grey hues, altogether. 🤣🤣
  3. I see it less of interviews and more of "conversations" with his guests/old pals. It's the PR side of him, erring on the side of caution/protection, etc. That'd be my guess.
  4. I also think this is why they're erring on the side of caution from adding too many shadows within the serial's final look. Because, in some of those darker-lit shots, it's a bit... too dark of view.
  5. It resembles what TOLN had with AMC/OLTL, and I also think it's to avoid over-shadowing the actors. The lighting does not need changing; if anything, some work in post could be done. Some [light] changes in the brightness/contrast of the clips from CBS Sunday Morning:
  6. We already know whose wedding it is: it's Bill Hamilton's wedding to Hayley Lawson.
  7. Really? Because nothing about it screams "ratchet"?
  8. So, it's not a funeral they're gathered it (as some assumed) nor a gala (as I suspected), it's the wedding reception.
  9. CBS Unveils Trailer For Groundbreaking Daytime Television Series, ‘Beyond The Gates’ @BetterForgotten You got your wish, re: Essence
  10. I agree: it's clear that the Dupree family was the most important in terms of casting, and casting "names" was top priority. And I'd wager they aced it out of the park. They visually do look like a family, and their connection seems solid. Well, no offense, but only four of the main cast are White, and only one of them would be considered any kind of name (Mike Manning). I'd stick to allowing select cast duos/groups of two/three and doing individual CBS affiliate interviews.
  11. Even Eric Braeden knew they hit gold in casting her; she brought her A-game, again, another proof of how east coast soap talent differed from the west coast talent. They bring IT!
  12. Michele Val Jean & Robert Guza Jnr are not the only creatives that [could] turn things around. But first and foremost, Frank Valentini & Nate Varni need to go. 💯💯
  13. It does, and that very much seems to be what CBS Studios is doing: focusing on their "core four," a.k.a. the Duprees, with others sprinkled in. It's very clear this is what's going on. And I'm okay with it. There is a reason the castings of Daphnée Duplaix, Karla Mosley & Tamara Tunie were announced first. Well, NuTime Media is in-charge of handling the ads sold during Beyond the Gates (back when it was The Gates). So I would imagine there might be some positive pull in that way, as well. We know Entertainment Tonight will have a segment with [some] of the non-"core four" actors, so that's to-come, as well.
  14. Just caught up, and I am really enjoying the stories right now, as a whole.
  15. Not surprised in the least.
  16. They looked bigger than any hotel I've ever stayed in, and I'd paid $$ for hotel rooms, hhahah.
  17. I think it's only been a day or so (reel-time) since he was admitted in?
  18. If there's one thing the Grand Phoenix was good for: it was their hotel rooms. They felt modern, familiar and a nice change from the same old GCAC room remodels we got when Devon purchased it.
