  1. Dr. Gannon is so hot and had some sweet chemistry with Liz on the most recent episode. I wonder if they're going to finally give Elizabeth a lasting romance. He could really be her happily ever after (and so much better than all the scumbags she's fallen for before). It'd be nice to have a doctor and nurse on General Hospital actually be in a functional, long-term romance. It's always good seeing Martin & Tracy interact. You can tell the actors love playing opposite each other and they're so good! I really hope this DarkWillow heroine to psycho turn (which should have happened when she was faking cancer) finally happens now that she's got a fitting partner-in-sexy-crime Drew against her new foe, the equally sexy-dark Michael. 😂
  2. Why do they keep having the Professor Dalton character repeatedly take his shirt off at the pool in multiple episodes? He looks like he's ill and in no condition for summertime swimming on a soap. The only interesting thing about the Sasha-Jason plane ride was the actual set and how the views from the window moved. LOL. I hope Sasha remains off-screen with Robert for a long time, even though I love the Michael-Willow-Drew story. That story has even elevated Portia's stupidity and sanctimony interesting for the first time ever as Drew reverse blackmails her. Nice to see Britt's mom back. I hope that means Scotty's coming back soon, too.
  3. Genie Francis' recollections are hilariously honest and reveal so much about Days through the decades. Love her and love that she returned home to General Hospital.
  4. What a beautiful post she made. Sounds like she should have gotten nominated and won if people had any sense. It's ridiculous that 4 veteran Y&R actresses are nominated. They're just going to split the vote and let 1 of the 2 GH veteran actresses win. Nobody in that category is going to have a meaningful impact on their careers from another Daytime Emmy win, anyway, but it sure would have been a nice tribute to an 82 year old actress playing life after loss and a tribute to the medium itself. Only the long-running serialized storytelling of American soaps allows an actress to grow up from a teenage ingenue into an octogenarian widow in real time.
  5. The way this new actor playing Michael can and does cry on camera is like the sexiest thing ever! 😂 Love that he appropriately teared up twice since debuting on the show. He's got great chemistry with the whole cast and I cannot wait to see him have a great big, messy soapy romance. He is such a good actor! Probably the best actor on the show currently. The worst actor is the guy playing Gio. His overacting, goofy mugging for the camera is so embarrassing. Sometimes it's unintentionally hilarious like the shock-face he did when Kristina fell out the window into the pool or today when he called Sonny "grandpa" (you can tell that was such a gut-punch to old man Maurice 🤣 ). But unless the show's going to use him for comic relief, they need to stop giving him dramatic angst because the caliber of acting he's doing is more befitting of the worst soap ever (Passions). I cannot believe some people were comparing him to a genuinely good (and good looking) actor like Nicholas Alexander Chavez (Spencer). This Cody-Liz-Ric-Ava thing could be so good if they dialed up the comedy a little bit. Hopefully there's more hilarious angles to this. All 4 of those actors, especially Josh Kelley, can do excellent work. The Jordan-Portia feud fighting over Curtis finally made Portia semi-interesting, but the best part is Dr. Gannon who definitely needs more story. He's my favorite hospital character currently (until Britt comes back...hopefully they have a romance!). The Drew-Kai dynamic is way more interesting than the Ava-Trina dynamic.
  6. This is the only time Ava and Trina working at an art gallery makes sense.
  7. That's nice of her to clear up the untruths about Frank.
  8. Philip Winchester is the best part of the show (as he is with any show he's on)!
  9. Michael and Maxi sure had a lot of chemistry in their scene this week. I don't know if it's the new actor playing Michael that's making the acting choice himself (if so, kudos to him for having chemistry with every scene partner!) or if there was written direction in the script testing out future romances for Michael. He also had some chemistry with the Molly character this week, too, but the show's probably not going to go that route since Molly is half-sisters with his half-sister. What an incestuous canvas!
  10. So glad this awful character is gone, I just wish she did a murder-suicide scene with Sonny. I hope they don't have a big funeral and reintroduce that character's daughter. Both of her kids and her ex-husband all the mobsters need to be written off of GH. It was nice to see Eva La Rue on ABCD again, though! Maybe a Dr. Maria Santos transferring into GH would have been better.
  11. She needs to stay on that Italian soap and off that terrible View show spouting debunked, stale neoliberal talking points that helped get Trump, Biden, Trump elected over the past decade. ABC needs to cancel that horrible show finally and bring back The City with some more diversity in honor of Mayor Mamdani!
  12. I hope that's not an indication of him leaving the show soon. He's the best male actor (along with the new Michael actor) currently on General Hospital and should be on frontburner storylines. They need to get rid of Sonny, Kai & Trina and put him back on contract!
  13. That's disappointing since there's such a lack of good serial dramadies in the style Desperate Housewives, GCB and Good Girls. I loved Melissa Fumero's character (and also Aja King's character) and it would have been interesting to see their stories develop in future seasons. Actually I liked all of the characters and stories except for that stupid, whiny white girl on the right of that photo.
  14. I don't understand why Hulu, since it's under the same parent company as ABC/GH, doesn't house all of GH's episode archives instead of only 10 recent episodes at a time.
  15. Yay! This is great news. She can't come back soon enough.
  16. Aww...I love both of them! When I saw the headline with the 2 names, I was hoping it was going to be a new scripted dramedy. It's a shame OLTL/ABC didn't use Renee/Evangeline to the fullest extent possible when they had her.
  17. They need to put this new Michael on frontburner every day for as long as they can. They also need to bring in a new love interest (or many) for him. Give this actor as much material as possible, please! I hope this Drew-Michael nephew-uncle rivalry goes on for the long haul. I was worried they were leading up to a Drew murder mystery, but that would prematurely end some great long-term soapy storytelling. The Quartermaines don't need any more dead family members, either.
  18. Hopefully it lasts forever. I like how GH keeps Llanview (Lulu writing an article for the Llanview Banner) and Port Charles (Deception competing against Erica Kane's Enchantment) alive.
  19. Yeah, I've been a fan of him since his role on Days. He's been excellent in all of his subsequent roles. He was my favorite character on Fringe and Boston Legal.
  20. So Lucky didn't show up at all and neither did the Magic Milos (or anyone topless on stage, not even Lucy's traditional wardrobe malfunction). LOL. The Nurse's Ball was pretty good this year. I guess the surprise guest was the Michael recast (which seems like a good choice)? That was a nice cliffhanger.
  21. Khan's response had me 😂 . Happy for Steve Burton, though. His GH return has been good.
  22. Joss' WSB story is much better than Emma's antiquated Students Against Animal Cruelty non-story and Trina's sad-sack story with the injured quarterback and newfound love of "art." They all should be out of college by now, too, having been in school for eons. This show does not know how to write for 20somethings or teens, at all.
  23. This is so embarrassing and pathetic for ABC. They need to cancel The View and restart One Life To Live and All My Children in its place!
  24. Did anyone else notice Stella's blue teeth in that scene where Brad is kissing his bicep when Lucas shows up? How do you get blue teeth? That's the coolest thing about the character. I really like how the show is centered around Drew Quartermaine as the show's male lead now. That's the classic philandering soap male character that's been missing from this show for too long. It's hilarious that he's been with Carly, Nina and Nina's daughter now. 🤣 I wonder what the Carly & Nina team up is going to lead to at Drew's new house. Are we going to have a "gaslighting of Mitch Laurence" type story?
