Yeah... I stand by what I said on Friday: the blackout's not terrible but the stakes need to be a lot higher. Because if they're not going to be, then what's the point of all this? And, Susan and Leo were both not necessary. There are plenty of other people that Marlena could have spoken to about her dreams and about passing out again. And, if anything, Gwen should've gotten trapped with Leo from the beginning. She did have a lot of good points though and I'm glad she hasn't forgiven him. But I did think EJ and Belle were worth watching. I liked that they were able to discuss the regrets that they have about each other, and about John's donation. And, acting wise, they both did a pretty good job as well. I'm interested in seeing where both of them go from here. It could be pretty good if Belle (and Shawn) get involved in whatever EJ's doing at the hospital and try to stop him. Btw, since when does Belle have asthma? As for Chad and Cat, now that little demon Rachel is back and told Thomas the truth about them, something interesting might happen between them lol Chad looked hot at the end too 😍😂

Idk I mean, I’m liking the story ideas but the B&B-like style and the GH-like propping isn’t helping. Maybe some producers need to step down first, IMO.

Today was a weird one. With a lot of fluff and filler, Ron's two favorites being front and center... and talk of Body&Soul 🤮 I think we know who worked on today's script. 🤮🤮 But welcome back, Bonnie! It's been a while, and it was nice seeing her catch up with Maggie. Too bad that they were mostly wasted on Stephanie's book stuff though. Speaking of Stephanie, her and Alex seemed a little stupid today. I'm not really sure why the both of them were acting like there wasn't a blackout going on, but whatevs. I gotta admit that all this book stuff seems so low stakes. I mean, if Stephanie's so worried about being exposed as the writer, why the hell did she even let Alex publish the book in the first place? Plus, we never got the impression that she had so much pride. Hopefully, this leads into something a little stronger and with higher stakes, especially now that Jeremy's coming back. Xander and Sarah were really sweet though. I still think that there's a lot of drama that can be mined from the two of them being at odds. I'm curious to see where they're going to go from here. And Xander did look hot at the end 😍😂

I think I drank the GH Kool-Aid a little bit when I was younger 😂😂 Which was probably why I was so worried that he'd be at Monica's funeral

So, we finally made it to the blackout. The buildup to it all was ok. I enjoyed some parts of it while other parts didn't interest me all that much. Xander and Sarah stood out to me the most. I enjoy their scenes together because they've always felt like a classic supercouple to me, even though I have mixed feelings about Days reviving the whole Xander beat up Philip thing to cause conflict for them. They should have moved past that already, and onto the next conflict. But I'm still interested in seeing what happens next. And, we learned that Xander is living in his and Sarah's old apartment again. I also have mixed feelings about Sophia and her sudden vendetta against Johnny and Chanel though. If they were going to take her this far, I feel like they needed to establish it a lot better. John leaving a sizable donation to the hospital in his will is classic John 😊 I understand Belle's objections though, and how it ties into everything that's happened between her and EJ. I hope that Belle ends up being a part of whatever EJ is planning, and maybe even tries to stop him. That would be a pretty good way to use her, and hopefully, could put Shawn back in her orbit as well. And, it looks like we're getting a new set at the hospital too.

Yeah... if $B can get a full pardon for murderer/kidnapper, I'm sure he could get a doctor to perform a forced abortion, just sayin. Katie's reasons were weak af. And having Deacon and Deke not be at odds with each other is a missed opportunity, but it was nice seeing them catch up.

When Theo mentioned that he went to High School with Liam 😉 And I suggested having Mike gotten back with Ivy after he broke up with Carrie because that would make the timeline work. It would put Liam roughly around the same age as Theo.
