Finally, some follow-up with Chad! Even though it's kinda weird that he's supposedly been unconscious this whole time and Tony and Kristen couldn't wake him up until now. But I liked that they were able to comfort him over the fact that he's missing the custody hearing. I also liked how those scenes of Chad were juxtaposed against those scenes of Thomas with Jack and Jennifer at the Horton house and in court. Cary Christopher and Matthew Ashford work pretty well together too. They're really believable as grandfather and grandson. And I still hope that, at some point, we get a full on custody battle between Chad and Jack/Jennifer, especially considering the anti-Dimera attitude that Jennifer had at the end of today. And while Jennifer was douchy with Cat again lol she did bring up a lot of good points. Her actions and words still make sense to me, in the context of this storyline. As for Cat, I have no problem with her drugging EJ, but the fact that she had to run it past Andrew makes me really, really wish he was in Salem, running this whole operation to take down EJ. It really is crazy that Days began an ISA-related storyline right after an ISA agent, who's a legacy character that fans like and want to see, left the canvas. And considering one of the spoilers that we've gotten, Andrew being onscreen would add another interesting dynamic to this storyline that I know I'd love to see 😊😊 But I'm looking forward to seeing the aftermath of Cat drugging EJ play out next week. And yeah, they're definitely going there with Gabi and Theo. Their scenes today really did feel like a chem test. Theo learning about Gabi's past with EJ and what EJ did to Rafe and Jada could also play into this storyline as well. I still think he has more chemistry with Ari though. And with Ari supposed to be getting an internship at Dimera, hopefully we'll get a triangle with them or a triangle with Theo/Gabi/Philip at some point. I'm looking forward to seeing it. It could have so many ripple effects across the canvas, especially since Theo knows Gabi's secret. Btw, they really seem to be making trivia night at the Pub an important thing 😂😂

Yeah… I think it’s time for Gio to give Dante a punch. There’s never been a reason for this tension between the two of them. It’s been unnecessary from the very beginning. I actually felt a little bad for Molly too lol I hope this thing with Britt is just a temporary roadblock or something. #Brody didn’t work the first time, I don’t think it’s gonna work now. As for Laura, this is what happens you’re besties with crime bosses, Mayor Collins 😂😂😂

Today was a slow one. Not bad, but practically nothing happened. But poor dumb Tate lol I still don't see where they're going with Tate getting bad grades and possibly flunking out of Salem U, and why he's worried that Holly would have a problem with it. I think they deserve a better story than this. Maybe something better will happen if Tate does end up getting kicked out of school. But I'm curious if this is going to be tied to whatever Sophia and Rachel may or may not end up doing. And please Rachel, you're the worst child ever 😂😂 But I did like seeing Steve on the case as to who sent Stephanie the letter. Despite being so long in the tooth lol, he does do a better job at investigating than Alex does, and today was no different. He does a better job than Cat too. Speaking of Cat, now that EJ knows that she's the one who read Wuthering Heights to him when he was recovering, I'm interested in seeing what happens now, especially when the time comes that he finds out about Cat and Rafe trying to take him down. But I admit, it all did seem a little low stakes though, and I thought that EJ's reaction to everything came off as forced, especially when he was going on and on about his and Cat's "connection". If anything, I hope he's playing Cat just as much as she's playing him. The cliffhanger with Stephanie was ok too, but I think this storyline would be better if Jeremy, and his growing feud with Alex had a bigger part in it. Not only would it give Jeremy more to do, but it could also possibly lead to some conflict between Stephanie and Alex.

As far as I'm concerned, my fanfiction of Dimitri and Andrew having had a fling when Dimitri was in the ISA, and Andrew being the true love of Dimitri's life, really happened 😂😂😂 And I understand what everyone's been saying about Brady too, but I like the drama of it all.

I'm sure we all can understand why Frank hired this immensely talented, and handsome young man 😂 As for Lulu, around that time she had been doing some snooping and found out that Dante and Brook Lynn had a child somewhere out there. And when she saw how proud and choked up Lois was during Gio's performance, she realized that he was the child.

Considering that she’s (thankfully) on the backburner right now, I take that to mean that’s no real plan for Joss, except for the fact that she’s Carly’s daughter lol

I'm glad that we got some follow-up with Brady, Rachel, Sophia, etc. today, but still no Chad. Go figure 😂 And we got confirmation that Sophia's been faking. I have mixed feelings about her and Rachel possibly teaming up though. I don't mind the story idea, but the problem is I don't particularly like either character all that much. And based on their scenes today, it looks like they're making Sophia go full on psycho too, which I think is a mistake. It kinda handcuffs her character, and it would seem very Ron-like lol Speaking of Ron-like, Leo and Marlena's scenes today were another example of that. But I didn't expect Kate and Maggie to go head to head and I didn't mind that at all. I actually thought it was one of the best parts of today, mainly because of what it could lead to. It opens up a lot of story possibilities for both characters and everyone around them. And it would be a much better use of Kate. She's finally back in her element now that she's working for Titan again and I'd love to see more of that onscreen. And I like that she, and Roman, got to catch up with their great-granddaughter. Btw, Ari was 110% correct today! Both about Holly and about Leo. I couldn't be happier that she still doesn't care for him because of everything that he did to Will and Sonny. On a day that seemed Ron-like, this was something that was very unRon-like and I was glad to see it. I wouldn't mind her interning at Dimera either. Maggie was also used effectively with Brady as well. I liked that he had someone to talk about everything that happened with Marlena and Rachel. But I still think that John's death and its aftermath should be a bigger part in every storyline that involves Marlena and her family. It would be the one dynamic that could better tie all of these storylines together under one big umbrella. All of these storylines still seem a little all over the place to me, IMO, and they shouldn't be. And yes Brady, it is time for you to get your own place 😂😂😂 Dimitri-Andrew 👍😂😂 I would post it, but I can't find the spoiler tag 😂😂

Sorry, but Rachel got exactly what she deserved today. I couldn't be happier to finally see her get locked up in Bayview where she belongs. This was a long time coming. It's good drama too. The acting was pretty good, both from Rachel and Brady, especially at the end of their scenes. And it's always good to see Brady act like a parent. Brady giving Rachel a gift that John gave him when he was a kid was really sweet too. And I'm curious to see if anything's going to happen with Rachel and Sophia. I also enjoyed Marlena and Kayla's conversation. Marlena finally got the chance to explain how she's been feeling since everything about Rachel was revealed. I'm glad that she had Kayla to confide in, and that she was able to sit down with Brady and start discussing everything that she did. I'm interested in seeing what happens next for the two of them, especially now that Brady's told her that he doesn't want her involved in Rachel's care. I just hope that her Lyme disease diagnosis leads to something more and something bigger being revealed. Just having Marlena's illness be Lyme disease would be a letdown. And while I'm not too sure about this, "It's all EJ's fault" dynamic that they've introduced into this storyline, I wouldn't mind Kayla being a part of the investigation about the lab. But as always, Gwen and Leo/Javi were unnecessary. Even if I liked them, they wouldn't have been necessary today. And yeah, with all this talk about Chad, we really should have seen him.

For the first time in a long time, I actually found Derek and Ashley interesting 😂😂 I enjoyed Shanice comforting her at the end as well. Btw, I'd rather see Shanice with Ted, then June. As for Bill and Vernon, I was once again reminded as to why I've been Team Bill from the very beginning. The Real Housewives added nothing to today though.

I'll always enjoy a Quartermaine Thanksgiving. And even though I would've liked to have actually seen Ned in the hospital as a patient, I'm glad that he's doing well, and that Gio was a part of the festivities as well. It's about time that he spent some time with his normal grandfather 😂 The cliffhanger ending was good as well.

Watching soaps basically taught me how to write this genre. And yes, I did learn more about sex, and sexuality in general, from soaps than I ever did from school, parents, etc. In hindsight, I might have been a little too young though 😂😂😂 I'm sure there were plenty of other things that I learned as well.

Today was a bit of a mixed bag. Not much happened. And we definitely should have gotten some follow-up with Chad, Tony and Kristen. But poor Xander. He did look hot at the beginning though 😂😂😍 And while I don't mind him moving on with someone else, for a little while anyway, I really wish that it wasn't with Gwen. There are other people on the canvas that he can be paired with, and other people who could have comforted him today. Stephanie, for example. And I did like the dorkiness of Maggie, Sarah and Holly. It's always nice to see Maggie catch up with her family. Btw, was the mention of Joe and Vic supposed to be foreshadowing? I was also liking the dynamic between Abe and Theo, and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens, and if or how it's going to be tied to everything that EJ is doing at the clinic.
