I don't think Stephanie knew that Steve knew Sometimes when he speaks, you can hear Wayne They're moving slow with this storyline, but I'm looking forward to seeing what happens. There's so much that they can do with Liam, and based on the Alan Locher interview, Hank really seems to be enjoying it.

Yeah. I think all the adult Stephanie’s have called him that. I don’t mind it but for like the first half of today’s show, it felt constant 😂😂 And agreed, that it’s not as grating as when Charlotte says it. Or the way that RSW pronounces some words (Ontie, Damarea, etc.) 😂😂😂

Welcome back, Liam! I still have no idea where they're going with this storyline, but it's nice to see him. And even though Jeremy stepping in to be his substitute mentor seems really random, I'm not against it. For the first time, Jeremy as a teacher actually made a little sense to me lol I wonder if the two of them bonding is going to mean something somewhere down the line, or if Days is gonna go with what we speculated about on here a while back. If they do, I just hope they don't screw up the timeline. I'm also wondering if Liam's interest in the Dimeras and Abe and Theo's relationship with them is going to mean something as well. Speaking of Abe, I liked that he and Paulina comforted each other about Theo and that Abe was able to share his fears with someone. Abe's perspective is a very important part of this storyline that needs to be utilized more. I liked the way his fears and worries were juxtaposed against Theo's determination and persistence to find a way out of the crypt, and to comfort Chad too. Theo using his own past with losing his mother to help Chad see what Thomas and Charlotte are going through was a good idea. And yeah, I'm not sure about Steve moving in with Stephanie and Alex either. Even with Stephanie having a stalker, it seems a little stupid and unnecessarily campy. They deserve a better story than this. And like I said before, Days doesn't need humor as much as everybody thinks it does. Their final scenes weren't bad though and I have no problem with them suspecting that Jeremy might be the stalker, mostly because of what it could lead to. Hopefully, that will lead to this storyline, as a whole, flowing into a better storyline for Alex and Stephanie. Btw, if we took a shot every time Stephanie said "Papa" today, we'd all be passed out in 10 minutes 😂😂😂

With any luck, this will end his career and we'll never see his ignorant ass in anything again.

Bill, Laura, Linda, and Stephanie definitely shouldn't have been written out. There was still plenty of storyline for all of them, especially for Linda and Stephanie in the aftermath of Bob's death.

I wonder how it played out on a day to day basis. Based on what I've read, it sounds like Dennis forgot all about Elena once he met Cecile.

Again, poor dumb Tate lol As much as I like Tate and his relationships with Holly, his family, etc., and enjoy seeing it all onscreen, I'm still not entirely sure what they're going for with him possibly flunking out of Salem U. The only way I could see this all working would be if Tate actually does flunk out and ends up getting involved with something that causes conflict with Holly and everybody. I'm curious to see what's going to happen, especially now that he's on academic probation and because it looks like he might not be going to Paris with Holly after all. Or if it's going to involve Rachel and Sophia somehow. Maybe something good will happen now that Rachel told Brady and Tate that Sophia is her new friend. I'm still not a fan of the two of them teaming up together though. And I like that he also got to have scenes with his Aunt Belle. Speaking of Belle, I thought she was used effectively today. And I couldn't be happier that Marlena finally got out of the hospital. I like how she comforted Marlena over everything that happened with Brady and Rachel, and that Marlena had someone to talk to. It's interesting to see Dr. Evans need someone as much as other characters have needed her. I don't, for a second, think that Marlena is going to stop seeing patients but I wouldn't mind a storyline where she actually goes through something like that. A Marlena-centered storyline, along with her being estranged from Brady is a great idea, and exactly what she, and Days in general, need right now, especially in the aftermath of John's death. I also enjoyed Brady vs. Xander, even though I wish those scenes had gone a little longer. There's still a lot that Xander needs to say about Brady temporarily living at the Kiriakis house. Hopefully, today was the first battle of many. But I'm glad that he got to argue about it with Sarah though. Even when they're at odds, they're still so good together. Lindsay Godfrey has improved so much. She doesn't play those kind of scenes with Xander/PT as so mean and nasty anymore lol I also enjoyed the flashback that Xander had of when he gave Sarah red shoes. As for the Dimeras in the crypt, as much as I think Kristen is played out and needs to be written out, I thought Stacy Haiduk did a good job today, as she absorbed the news about Rachel remembering everything and being locked up in Bayview And again, I have to ask, has there been any word about who EJ's shooter was originally supposed to be?

Thanks for the tag! And right when we were talking about Chris and Amanda's relationship in the Days thread 😂 As for Cecile, I don't think she had gone bad yet. Based on what I've read, it sounds like she turned once she found out that Iris had paid Philip to get her away from Jamie.

So, Gabi's taking Javi's accusations about her really seriously lol I have mixed feelings about that, but I did think that Cherie Jimenez did a good job today, in spite of the Leo of it all. And I'm glad that she got to have scenes with Ari today. Gabi being against Ari possibly going to work for Dimera is also a good story beat that could lead to something interesting happening, especially if Days remembers the chem tests that they gave the both of them with Theo. And yeah, Gwen and Leo just need to be killed off. Killing them off, or anybody off for that matter as a result of this lab storyline, could be the reset that Days needs right now. Plus, it could also help Javi as a character, because it seems like he's been relegated back to being just Leo's boy again. Days not having them losing Trey be a massive conflict for them was a mistake. Johnny and Chanel were the best part of today. I really enjoyed the dilemmas that Johnny's in now that he knows that EJ has disappeared too. It's classic human drama that I hope Days continues to run with. It also adds a very interesting dynamic to this whole Dimera storyline, that actually could make it all much more enjoyable and likable, IMO, especially if Chanel, and her and Johnny's relationship continues to have a part in it. I like the way that she comforted him and I feel that all of this could lead to some good conflict for the two of them as well, especially if Rita convinces Johnny to step in and temporarily run Dimera. I know Johnny never liked business, but I do think that's a better job for him than college professor lol Btw, I've never really been a fan of Cat, but I have to admit that she is starting to grow on me... mostly because Rafe has been such a dick lately. I know he's always had the habit of being like that, but lately, it's just like... goddamn 😂😂😂 He's not a good boss or investigator lol and we saw that once again. I was definitely Team Greene today. Maybe this is Days' way of getting Cat and Mark over, and getting the fans to like them. And yeah, Mark does need a haircut 😂😂

She definitely needs an identity other than being someone's gf. That can provide more depth to her character. As much as I disliked the One Stormy Night thing, Stephanie being an author really could have been the thing that led to that. There's so much storyline that could have provided conflict for her and Alex, that can be drawn from Stephanie getting wrapped up in the world of being a newly published author. It could've played out as a solid B-storyline, as Chanel, Gabi, Sarah, etc. lead the A-stories.

Today was a bit of a mixed bag. It wasn't exactly boring, but everything just felt so low energy. Playing a lot of things like a big joke didn't help much either. Days does not need comic relief as much as some people think it does. And yeah, Susan just needs to be killed off. I'm tired of her. Everything surrounding Alex and Stephanie was ok, but it reeked of no budget. Alex and Stephanie can't come into contact with anybody due to potential exposure, but they evacuated to a public town square and then had a nice long conversation with Steve and Kayla? OK 😂😂😂 Maybe this would have been better if it had played out for a little longer. But I'm interested in seeing this all play out, even though I think they're missing the mark by not having Jeremy and his feud with Alex play a bigger part in all of this. As for the Dimeras in the crypt, I felt the same way about those scenes today like I did on Friday: I'm not that big a fan of the storyline as a whole but I did enjoy Chad and EJ's scenes together. I like the way they went from EJ comforting Chad over the custody suit to Chad accusing EJ of being responsible for kidnapping everyone. It's an interesting dynamic between the two of them that I wouldn't mind playing into future storylines. I wouldn't mind them returning to this style at all. All the elements are there for Days to return to this in 2026, especially with so many characters being weaved into the Dimera stuff. Chris Whitesell was co-head writer during both of those years. Days should try to lure him back.

Yeah. Amanda got pregnant, and (I think) she wasn’t sure if Chris or Greg was the father. But the pregnancy turned out to be ectopic and she had to terminate it. And it sounds like, after that, she decided to just make a go of her marriage to Greg and left Salem with him. Which was too bad because from what I’ve read, Greg sounds like a real douche 😂😂😂 I wish more of this time period was available to see

Excellent posts @cody_1990 ! There have been a lot of boring couples lately. And a little too much Dimera. I think that all the ingredients are there for a good show, but Paula/Jeanne just need to use them more effectively. And yeah, a few characters do need to be sent packing lol I’m surprised that they haven’t actually gone over budget, with the amount of characters we’ve seen on screen lately lol Not yet. This isn’t Ron Carlivati’s show anymore 😂😂😂😂 As for techniques, maybe playing a character as smug or arrogant was one of them.

@carolineg @ranger1rg Idk if this has anything to do with Theo's coldness or arrogance, but when Tyler was on Dishin Days, he revealed that he had the same acting teacher as Robert Scott Wilson... so maybe he learned some similar techniques 😂😂😂
