  1. So, Marlena is still seeing Xander as her patient despite everything that happened with Brady. I actually don't mind that but I think it would work a lot better if there was still tension between Brady and Marlena. It could've been a very interesting beat that played out for a while and had a strong effect on the two of them and everyone around them. But I'm curious to see what's actually going to play out. It's always good to see Marlena in psychiatrist mode, with some of her patients anyway. And I did like Marlena laying down the law to Xander about Brady. Speaking of Brady, I had mixed feelings about him and Sarah's scenes today. I'm glad that he's not letting Kristen or his awful child run his life anymore, but at the same time, with the way that it was written, it made him look a little like a dick. I'm still on his side though, but I understand why some fans wouldn't be lol. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens. And I know that this is a nitpick, but Victoria is almost 3. Why do they still have Sarah pushing around an infant stroller? 😂 And yeah, I'll say it again, poor Peter. Just like with that Body&Soul abomination, I'm glad that the actor is obviously having fun but he deserves so much better than this. They really, really need to get him away from Gwen and Leo. Honestly, as much as I love seeing Peter Porte on my screen again, if this is all they're going to give him, they should've never brought him back. And we definitely didn't need any flashbacks either to 2023 either 🤮🤮🤮🤮 Despite how this storyline is being written, Leo will never be the good guy in this situation and today proved that even more. If he really wanted Dimitri "out of his system" why would he even go see him? I mean, come on. This storyline and every aspect of it is starting to make me sick. They're missing the mark so badly with all of this. And writing it like a big joke isn't helping either. I thought that, at the very least, we weren't going to get stupid campy crap like this anymore. Seriously, did Ron or Jamey write their scenes today? But as for the way that today ended, welcome back, Vivian! Maybe she'll elevate this crap, and somehow, get Dimitri out of it. Btw, with the talk of Stefano at the beginning, he would be ashamed that his oldest grandchild was such a cringey, campy coward. Stefano may have been a lot of things but he certainly wasn't a coward. But sometimes, slower is better than faster. Look at B&B 😂😂😂
  2. Yeah... Idk about these kissing cousins, especially after GH made such a big deal about Cody and Sasha. I know they were more closely related but that doesn't matter to me lol a cousin is a cousin. And this isn't even like Days, there's an actual blood relation there 😂 I don't really know about Nathan and Lulu either. He came back thinking that 7 years hadn't passed and was still devoted to Maxie. When did he stop being so devoted lol, unless that change in his feelings is going to mean something at some point in the future. I don't hate the idea but that beat is kinda clunky. Jason and Britt were really sweet though. Like the New Years Eve episode, this is the way Britt, and this storyline, should be written. It's almost like there's a civil war on the writing team, where one side wants to write Britt as campy, bitchy comic relief and the other side wants to write her like she was today. And yeah, Carly and Valentin are still DOA to me 😂😂
  3. I wonder if bringing in a SORAS-ed Ari was a Ron projection and Paula/Jeanne just decided to run with it. I imagine we would've gotten a big Ari/Doug III/Holly/Tate mess had Ron stayed but writing out Doug III put the end to that, which was too bad. I would've liked to have seen that. But I do like that she's not stuck in a bubble with Holly or the Hernandez's, and gets to have scenes with other characters and also is a part of their storylines. I'm hoping that the internship at Dimera finally leads to her being a main character in a storyline. A mother-daughter triangle with Theo, perhaps? 😂
  4. Today was a slow one. Not necessarily bad, but boring. More boring than usual lol. It was nice to see Bonnie and Justin again though. But there definitely needed to be some follow-up about Liam today. Is Hank ever going to appear in more than one episode a week? I did enjoy Chad and Jennifer's scenes today, and the fact that it looks like they're making peace. They work well together, both when they're like this and when they're at odds. I would much rather these scenes had taken place after a long, dramatic custody battle that pretty much tore the family apart though. Chad, saying that he feels liberated by the fact that they now know for sure that Stefano's dead could lead to something interesting happening as well, especially based on some of the spoilers that we've heard. I'm glad that he was able to discuss how he was feeling about Stefano with someone. And they finally remembered that Abigail's body was still missing! And there did seem to be some foreshadowing both with Gabi/Ari and Johnny/Chanel/Sophia/Melinda, and I hope it all leads to something big and explosive happening. Which Days could really use right now. There's no reason that it needs to be this boring. And finally, Ari's gonna start her internship at Dimera lol
  5. Well Something to look forward to 😂😂
  6. Ok, you can have A 😉😂
  7. 😂😂😂 That's part of it.
  8. Happy to see him booking roles. But I never thought he'd be a Hallmark guy 😂😂
  9. We have such good taste 😂😂😂 I had a feeling he was gonna be your pic though. Either him or C 😉
  10. The news about Stefano was front and center today. I liked seeing everybody absorb the news of him being dead and gone for good, especially Marlena, Kayla, Roman and Kate. The idea of all the horrible things that Stefano did to them making them all stronger, better people was used again, and it completely makes sense to me. Kate, remembering her own past with Stefano, and feeling guilty about it due to her marriage to Roman was a good idea. I'm glad that we got her POV in those scenes and that Roman was there for her. And I enjoyed Marlena comforting Johnny as well, even though the writers not making Johnny full-on anti-Dimera will always be a missed opportunity. And while I still don't know about Marlena overseeing Basic Black, I liked that she was able to talk about it with Kayla, and that she's thinking about bringing Kate on. But I am looking forward to seeing what happens with Bonnie's book though, and also what could happen when it comes out that Kate set Johnny up. I thought it was nice to see Abe and Rafe in scenes together too, mostly because it doesn't often happen. And that we got Abe's reaction to the news about Stefano. Idk about Liam though. I can't help but think that there might be a twist at some point in this storyline. If there isn't, and it turns out that he willingly helped Peter with the kidnapping, then this was all just a waste of time, and Hank Northrop deserves much better than that. Btw, with the talk about Liam today, he really should have appeared in the episode. He should be interacting with more characters, especially at this point. Has Hank Northrop even appeared in 5 episodes yet? As for Alex, Stephanie, Steve and Jada, and the stalker, I just don't care lol there are so many ways that this storyline could be playing out and the writers chose one that's just not good. This all should have been tearing Alex and Stephanie apart, not bringing them closer together. I did laugh when the stalker called Alex a stuck up little bitch though 😂😂😂
  11. That’s a tough one 😍😍😍 But I’ll take A 😉
  12. Maybe Kial should've been one of Anita's doctors, in order to bring Nicole and him closer together in a better way. They did have some chemistry today. And, I did like seeing Andre and Hayley going head to head today. I worry about what's going to happen to his and Dani's marriage in the future.
  13. Gotta admit, I liked the way that things were set up today, basically for all hell to break loose during the blizzard. It's like a classic soap umbrella storyline. I'm looking forward to seeing it all play out, especially the Tracy/Gio/Emma adventure. I'm not that big of a fan of Anna's storyline but the cliffhanger was really good. Joss was just insufferable though, as always. And somebody really needs to tell her that it's "Spoon" not "Spewn" 😂😂
  14. That was one of the years that Passions was really on its decline 😂😂😂 But there were some good storylines, especially in the first few years. And the men were 🔥🔥🔥 Just be prepared for Gwen, who was quite possibly the worst, most pathetic character in Soap history.
  15. Oh God, I hope not. If anything, they should be put in a triangle with Trina
  16. So, I guess now that it's finally official, RIP Stefano. As insufferable as EJ and Kristen were yesterday, I thought they did a better job today as they absorbed the news, and also how it was tied back to their current feelings for each other. The dialogue kinda hinted that there may be a little growth coming for the character of Kristen, and there really should be. There has been a little change in her character since the new writers came in but if we're gonna be stuck with her, there needs to be more. And as annoying as EJ and Rafe get sometimes, their sparring wasn't all that bad either... until Rafe started to be a dick again lol. And now that Cat knows that Rafe helped Hope cover up Stefano's "murder", something interesting might happen. As for Cat and Chad, I admit that I probably would have enjoyed their scene together if I actually liked them as a couple. It's almost like they're in a classic soap dilemma. Btw, if they're gonna keep mentioning Andrew, and the work that he's doing, he really should be onscreen full time. I do wonder who put the bones in the crypt though. But hopefully, this is it for Stefano. It's well past the time to let him rest. And honestly, as much as I like the trope, the days of the soap supervillain are over, in general. I enjoyed Theo and Johnny's scenes as well. I have mixed feelings about the whole Bonnie's book thing, but I'm interested in seeing what happens if Johnny goes ahead and has it published, and it ends up hurting Dimera. Maybe we'll get a Theo/Johnny feud lol But I definitely don't know about Johnny wanting to be the one to plan a fitting memorial for Stefano. He should be the one most against it, if anything, just because of everything that Stefano did to John/Marlena and the Bradys. It just makes sense for him to basically be the "anti-Dimera", which could lead to a lot of good conflict for him and everyone around him. It would be like a natural story transition for him, based on everything that happened last year, in addition to him trying to take down EJ and what he's planning at the lab, which we learned more about today. I don't understand why the writers chose not to do it. And we saw Liam again! We got more insight into his character today. And while he and Abe do work well together, he needs much, much more to do. Having him appear once every few weeks was just weird. Maybe this all would've worked better if he had been more of a sexy bad boy type. And also got involved in some kind of feud with Theo, with Abe caught in the middle. Hopefully, that backstory hasn't been dropped either. But I'm very interested in seeing what happens if it turns out that Liam actually was the one who was helping Peter with the kidnapping.
  17. Will, Will, Will... you hot, dumb himbo 😍😂😂
  18. Welcome back, EJ! Too bad today was mostly about everything going on with the lab. I have mixed feelings about all of this, and I still stand by what I've said about Johnny being the one who should be trying to take down EJ. It just makes sense for it to be him based on everything that's happened between them. And while I enjoyed Johnny and Chanel today, that would be a much better storyline for the two of them than Chanel being pregnant again. Plus, if Johnny did end up taking EJ down, it could've led to more conflict between him and EJ, and the rest of the Dimera's as well. But it's always good to see Dimitri interact with other characters besides the two worst ones that he often gets stuck with. That needs to happen a lot more often. Peter Porte is too talented for the nonsense that he's given, both now and in 2023. EJ and Gwen's plan to try and frame Dimitri as being Peter's accomplice in the kidnappings could be interesting though. As pointless as the kidnapping ultimately was, I do like the idea of it having some kind of effect on future storylines. But I had no use for Kristen today, despite her scenes with Dimitri. She really needs to take her awful kid and leave Salem for good. As for Rafe/Cat, it did seem a little like they were chem testing the two of them again. I don't think it's gonna work though, if that's what the writers are actually going for lol but I am a little interested in seeing what happens once Rafe and Eli go to Alamainia. Btw, the cliffhanger ending would have been a lot better if it hadn't already been spoiled by the weekly promo 😂
  19. Agreed. There needs to be much higher stakes in both of these storylines. When it comes to the conflict, it's like the writers only scratch the surface a little instead of really going there with high stakes drama. I wouldn't mind all the scenes of talking, if a lot of those scenes just dissolved into full on arguments or fights. And I was hoping we would get a full on custody battle as well, if anything, just to use the courtroom set again, which at this point, seems like just a waste of money on an already cash strapped show. And honestly, the stalker thing should be tearing Alex and Stephanie apart, not bringing them closer together. You could've gotten so much drama out of Stephanie eventually coming around and thinking that Jeremy isn't the stalker, while Alex becomes more and more determined to prove that he is. Alex could even like use Sophia's mother or someone in order to get Jeremy fired from his teaching job. Even with the excuse that the writers gave us about basically being in a holding pattern until they heard news about the renewal, I don't get why their choosing not to go there with any storyline. It can't be a budget issue. He pleaded guilty to a lesser assault charge and got like community service or something.
  20. Thanks. So I guess that does happen on set. I just wish that it wasn't as obvious as it was in those scenes with Maggie.
  21. I mean, I had the feeling that the momentum was gonna drop off sooner or later but... goddamn 😂😂😂 Gio and Emma were great together, as always. And the tribute to TG was nice, but that's pretty much all I got for today. And I'm really, really hoping that Wes Ramsey doesn't do that hoarse whispering when he finally shows up as Stephanie's stalker on Days And just for old times sake, I'll leave this here 👍
