I love Gina but that wasn't Phyllis she was portraying in addition to the writing wasn't there. And I'm going to be honest I don't think she had much chemistry with Jason Thompson or Joshua Morrow. If anything, Jamie Luner or Melinda Clarke should've been cast as Phyllis instead.

Y&R: Sharon/Christine For years, they were good friends, dating back to when Sharon was raped by Matt Clark. However, in recent years, when Christine was attempting to convict Sharon with Phyllis, Nikki, and Victoria for J.T.'s "Murder". They never made mention that Sharon was being convicted by her friend, nor did Christine have any reactions to it. In recent years they did have Sharon and Lily converse while she was pouring coffee... though Neil did leave her Drucilla's jewelry when he died. Though I wished they would connect them more. Another connection I always wanted on screen but never gotten due to BTS antics is Paul/Nate on Y&R. I wished we would've at least gotten a few scenes of them talking about Nathan and how much he meant to Paul back in the day.

She probably wanted to describe it as something else but was trying to be diplomatic as possible. 🤣

ITV News did a segment for the 50th anniversary even going back to Esholt where the show first started.

James Hyde (ex-Sam Bennett) from Passions is set to appear on Y&R as the mysterious Jeremy Stark who has a past connection with Diane. He debuts on October 21. Y&R trying to compete with GH again I see on who can hire the most people James Hyde Joins Y&R - Soap Opera Digest

Like I say on Twitter often Josh Griffith plays musical chairs with these characters careers.

It seems for the most part that the fans come up with better plots than the writers.

Pretty much have the same feelings regarding the show. I wish they would give the 50+ character actual lives and not needing to still be on a merry-go-round of Brooke/Ridge/Taylor. It's beyond played out at this point. Also, I wish the show would bring on RJ, Eric Jr., Mary Warwick and Diana Carter too. This show needs the next generation who should be getting the in and out love stories.

I agree with 100% of this. They could actually give them an actual Forrester storyline. It seems Brad don't want to tell stories involving the fashion world again. I just wish someone will tell Steffy that she is in the same boat as Brooke when it comes to her behavior with men.

It's likely that Thomas called CPS on himself to "set it up" to be Brooke, so Ridge will find his way back to Taylor for Ridge & Taylor: Round 1000. I'm like Steffy let's not act like you haven't followed in your hated stepmother's whorish footsteps yourself. And it seems that they have completely wiped away Taylor's alcoholism out the window too.

I wouldn't call it full of herself. She's a talented young actress who probably end up doing her rounds on BBC and ITV shows. Unless she plans to try her luck in Hollywood.

I don't think Michael deserved better...

I'm sure Trevor isn't getting paid under five that's for sure. However, Trevor is one of those actors you can tell when he isn't feeling the material and it shows. I'm hoping Olivia returns to town to smack both her son and nephew upside their heads. It's clear the Barber-Winters family needs a matriarch/patriarch and I'm sorry Lily isn't capable of doing that. I mean Nate has been on for five years now and he hasn't had one conversation with his mother. If Tonya Lee Williams can't come to LA from Toronto than have her FaceTime. Or if not recast with someone like Amelia Marshall at this point. Josh needs a business consultant regarding these business stories. It seems he is playing musical chairs with Newman, Jabot/Marchetti, Chancellor-Winters etc., and has no idea what to do with them. Buzzwords aren't going to make us think these companies our worth caring about. And I wonder is it a Sony/CBS mandate about getting rid of the teens/young adults on this show. I mean Moses doesn't get a goodbye scene and Faith was shuffled off to U Of M.

And don't let her, Chloe, and Chelsea be in the same room together. I'm like all of you're the same archetype and perhaps one of you isn't needed. And I'm not talking about getting rid of Sally either.

Griffith seems to write this show like a weekly series instead of a serial drama. Why does everyone have the same conversations? Chloe has been advising both Sally and Chelsea to stay away from Adam for the last several weeks now. Is this Faith and Moses swan song for sure? Or will they trot them back out for Christmas?

They act as if Taylor is the "smart one" and Brooke is the sexually brazen who is ditzy. But we all know that she created BeLief and ran Forrester successfully for a decade. I agree Brooke should be heavily involved at Forrester. Heck she should be convincing Rick to take reins of the company since it is his birthright.

I bet it might be Janice Lynde back with hardly any dialogue as Leslie Brooks. I can't believe they literally had her essentially as a background character in her last stint. You would at least think she would have scenes with Jack and the Abbotts speaking about meeting Theo. Or her talking about her son Brooks taking over Prentis or mentioning what she and her sisters our up to these days. But nope she was the piano woman.

This! And Samuel Skillbeck would be back with a family of his own. Sigh...
