GH: Actress OUT
Wish her well and success of this show. She probably can see the sketchy writing on the wall and left.

Guiding Light Discussion Thread
Another Locher interview coming up Actress Toby Poser will join me live in The Locher Room on Wednesday, August 24th at 3 p.m. EST / 12 p.m. PST. Toby will be here to talk about her artistic collaboration with her husband and two daughters working together on Wonder Wheel Productions. Wonder Wheel epitomizes a can-do attitude toward independent filmmaking: as cast and crew, they write, act, and shoot; they produce, direct, edit and score it all.

DAYS: August 2022 Discussion Thread ⌛
With The CW soon to cater to the geriatric demographic I think her best chances is to end up on cable or a streaming series soon.

Santa Barbara Discussion Thread
A few months ago, I ran across this segment on "Sexy Soap Stars" from Entertainment Tonight from 1991 that features Robin Mattson, Melody Thomas Scott, Katherine Kelly Lang, and Charlotte Ross.

Y&R August 2022 Discussion Thread
It seems Robert Newman didn't waste any time after leaving YR either he is currently back on stage in Michigan which is like an hour and a half away from where he lives via a plane ride instead of the four/five one he took to LA. The thing is that Phyllis, Nikki, and Ashley are treating Diane like she is on par with Patty Williams or Mari Jo Mason. I'm like yes, she framed you for murder and set you up as an arsonist, but you all have done some outlandish things in your time as well. I hope Diane or Kyle get to mention some of Phyllis misdeeds to her face when you know what hits the fan.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES Moves to Peacock From NBC on September 12
I see some of you blaming the current writers but let's be honest this show was going the way of cancelation for about fifteen years now. Let's not forget when NBC Daytime folded meaning the show was hardly getting any support from the network. I just hope we don't once again see the SOD Cover "The Plan To Save DAYS" for the 520th time in 2023.

DAYS OF OUR LIVES Moves to Peacock From NBC on September 12
Not having DAYS available via the free tier on Peacock doesn't sound feasible to me. I'm sure people would watch the ads if they were available to watch the show. Though I wonder are they expecting more people to subscribe? And it also sounds like Canada might not have access to DAYS soon via people on Twitter.

Y&R: Former OLTL actor joins the show
Chuckie Rouland I didn't think about that. I just hope if they do that if they bring on the Brooks Sisters for the 50th they are given actual POV. And not just standing there in the corner and given weird dialogue about Jill.

Y&R: Former OLTL actor joins the show
I hope he doesn't phone it in like he had been doing on and off in his last few years on One Life To Live. He's one of those actors that you could see when he isn't feeling the material he's given.

Y&R: Former OLTL actor joins the show
We'll see how this goes but with recent years of Why and Are obtaining soap vets I'm cautiously optimistic. Perhaps he might be playing a recast Cole Howard?

Home and Away: Discussion Thread
I heard about the proposed Fisher storyline. If anything, if Fisher would've died it should've been in Marilyn's arms instead. But I can see why it was vetoed either way. Though it's sad the network is so hesitant about revisiting the past and is embracing solely the future. I mean I'm kind of surprised they never recast or brough back any of Irene's children or grandchildren. I guess I should be surprised that they brought on Leah's nephew from one of her brothers.

Neighbours: Discussion Thread
They probably would try to bring back Pippa and Don. It's quite sad that Home and Away has shed pretty much its true origins since it had worked for them for about 20 years. I remember being surprised when read that the Astoni's were the first "complete" family to feature on H&A since the Sutherlands and that was 17 years prior.

Knots Landing
Would you have brought in a new family or possibly a house of youngish housemates inspired by Melrose Place?
