    Adrian unwittingly casts doubts in Colleen's mind about her own body image

    Jack knocks on Jill's office door. When she tells him to come in, he holds up a bottle of wine. She asks him what he's doing with a bottle of wine. Smiling he tells her that after looking over Brad's proposal for a new cosmetic line, he feels that they will be on their way to the top. Looking up at him she reaches for the file that he places on her desk. As she's looking over it, she realizes that Brad had in fact mapped out some key components that would help strengthen their business. Jack asks her if she's ready for a glass of wine to celebrate.

    When Lily returns home from the clinic, she's surprised to see Daniel sitting on the couch waiting for her. She instinctively goes over to kiss her husband. He smiles a little and asks her how her day was. She tells him that she thinks that she has all the classes that she needs for the summer. As she places her purse down, Daniel gets up and follows her to the kitchen. He asks her what courses did she choose for her summer at school. Smiling, Lily rattles off a psychology class and a literature course. Taking out the brochure from his pocket, he asks her if she's also taking a course in breast enhancement. When she sees that he has the brochure in his hands, Lily can't muster up an explanation.

    Sharon is enjoying a evening at home when she receives a ring at her door. Putting down her glass of wine, she opens the door to see Brad. Not really up for company, Sharon asks Brad why he stopped by. Looking around her home, Brad tells her that she was on his mind and wanted to know if she would care to join him for dinner. Not wanting to go out, Sharon tells him that she's going to stay in. Smiling a little, Brad tells Sharon that she deserves to have a night out every now and then, and coaxes her into coming with him to dinner. Not wanting to be rude, Sharon agrees to go, but warns him that she's not going to be good company for him. Laughing a little, Brad tells her that after the night is over, she will be glad that she joined him.

    Phyllis and Nick are the first to arrive at the Newman ranch. Phyllis, carrying the little bassinet with Summer, places it on the floor by the couch. Victor, who is there, immediately goes towards his grand-daughter and gives her a smile. Nick asks Victor when his mom will coming back to the house. Victor says that she had to do a few things at the office but should arrive home in an hour or so. Phyllis tells her father-in-law that when Nikki comes home, she will have a wonderful welcome home. The group are talking when Victoria arrives with a bouquet of flowers. Sitting them in the center of the table, she tells everyone that she's happy that Nikki will be coming home to her family. Everyone is immersed in talking when they hear Nikki come in. They all surround her, welcoming her home.

    Adrian and Colleen are having dinner together at his place, when the subject of Lily comes in to play. Colleen tells Adrian that she fears that Lily is going to go through with having the breast implant surgery. Adrian tells Colleen that she can't worry so much about what Lily wants to do; if she feels that it will make her feel more attractive, then it shouldn't be worried over. Colleen points out that Lily is doing it for all the wrong reasons; citing that she feels that the person that loves them the most should love every inch of them; not want them to change it. Smiling a little, Adrian tells Colleen that while he loves the way her breasts are shaped, he does see things that could be tweaked a little bit on her. Frowning a little, Colleen asks what he is trying to say to her. Realizing that he could be in trouble, he admits that he noticed that she's put on a little weight since he's been back. Colleen, who is in the middle of sampling her dessert, puts her fork down, slightly embarrassed by Adrian's honesty.

    Back in the office of Jill Abbott, Jack and she are enjoying their celebration. Going toward one of the office windows, Jill looks out at the view. She tells Jack that John would be proud to know that they are working hard to bring the company back to the way he shaped it. She recalls the many nights she watched John envision plans of how to make Jabot top of the notch. Smiling a little, Jack tells Jill that all he wants is to make things right in the company. Coming towards him, Jill tells Jack that despite all that has happened, never to forget that John was always proud of him when it came to running Jabot. The two smile at one another as they clink glasses in a toast.

    Daniel questions why Lily has a breast implant brochure at the house. Lily tries to tell him that she was curious about how they go about doing the surgeries, however, Daniel isn't convinced. He puts two and two together and realizes that the money that Neil gave Lily was actually to front the surgery. He tries to convince Lily that she looks beautiful the way she is; that she doesn't need to make any changes to her body to please him. Lily asks Daniel that if he was so in love with her body and the way she looks, why did he decided to take it upon himself to look at other naked women on the Internet? Daniel tells her that he wasn't looking at the images because he wasn't in love with her, he looked at the images because he was curious. Lily tells Daniel that it's her turn to be curious about a few things. Taking the brochure out of his hands she heads upstairs.

    Over dinner, Sharon tells Brad that she is thinking about packing up and leaving Genoa City. Brad questions why she would just move away. She admits that ever since her marriage to Nick fell apart, along with feeling used by Jack, she has nothing really keeping her in Genoa City. Brad points out that Noah would never want to move, especially if his father and sister are here. Taking her hand, he tells Sharon that she shouldn't let anyone determine if she belongs here or not. Pulling her hand away, she tells Brad that she just needs to do what is best for her and Noah, and right now, it might be going away for a bit. Not wanting to see her go, Brad tells Sharon that he might have something that would keep her feet firmly planted where she belongs.

    At the Newman ranch, everyone is enjoying a welcome home feast for Nikki when the doorbell rings. Going to the door, Victor is greeted by a messenger, who is looking for Victoria. Going towards him she tells him that she's the person he's looking for. Handing her a envelope, he quickly exits the house. Everyone watches as Victoria opens up the envelope. She realizes that it's the divorce papers that Brad signed. As she is looking over the document, she notices an attached document. As she reads, she gasps in shock. Nikki is the first to approach her to ask what is going on. Victoria announces that Brad is seeking to claim half her income once the divorce becomes final. The Newman family, as a whole tell Victoria that they will do whatever they can to put Brad in his place.

    Amanda plans to mix business and pleasure with JT

    JT arrives at Amanda's suite at the athletic club to see if she's all set to go to South Dakota. When she opens the door to let him in, he sees that she has a large array of clothing thrown on the bed. Shrugging her shoulders, she tells him that she can't make up her mind what to take with her. Smirking, he reminds Amanda that they would only be gone for a short period of time. As she's packing, she muses that she's glad that the trip won't keep her from getting back in time for the trial. Touching her shoulders, JT tells Amanda that when they return home, they will put all their focus in on the case; making sure that Gloria pays for everything that she's done to her family. Turning to face him, she smiles, locking lips with his.

    At the Baldwin home, Michael is cooing over Fenmore, when Gloria emerges from the kitchen. Handing him a bottle of formula, she smiles as her son holds Fen against him. Gloria tells Michael that he should seek full custody of his child. Rolling his eyes, Michael advices Gloria to worry about her own problems than putting focus on his. As he is feeding the baby, the doorbell rings. Gloria heads for the door and frowns upon seeing Lauren. Stepping aside, Gloria watches as Lauren makes her way towards the baby. Looking over his shoulder, he tells Gloria to go into the nursery to gather up Fen's things. Once gone, Lauren informs Michael that William Bardwell came to see her. Michael already knows what William is up to and asks her if he wants her to testify against Gloria. When Lauren confirms his own thoughts, he asks her if she plans on doing it. Lauren tells him that if she doesn't testify, he will bring up before the court as a hostile witness.

    Daniel is rushing into the house when he hears the telephone ring; unfortunately for him he is too late. Sighing, he goes into the kitchen to put away groceries that he bought. As he's doing that, the answering machine clicks on. On the machine, Daniel hears a female voice announcing that Lily will receive a statement for her down payment for her surgery but that based on availability, they would like her to come in two weeks. As he's going back over he message, he quickly cuts it off when Neil knocks on the door. Letting him in, Daniel asks if he's seen Lily at all. Neil smiles, telling Daniel that he was coming over to see if she had any luck getting into the classes that she wanted. Daniel tells Neil that he's not sure if she got the 'classes' that she needed. Neil tells Daniel that if Lily needs another loan, let her know not to hesitate in asking.

    At dinner, Sharon is stunned that Brad is willing to offer her a job; quickly asking how he came about getting a job with Jabot. Brad tells Sharon that he's presented some very useful projects to Jill that could put Jabot back on the map. Sharon is curious as to how having her as an employee would be a benefit to him. Leaning over, he tells Sharon that they are launching a new cosmetic line titled Genesis. He informs her that she would be the perfect woman to be their spokes model. Sharon balks at first, however, the more Brad shares with her about the new line, the more interested she becomes. Smiling a little, Sharon tells Brad that it looks like he has a new spokes model.

    Gloria returns from the nursery with Fenmore's things when she notices that both Michael and Lauren sudden silence. Not liking what's going on, she pretends to not being able to find something that she got for Fen. Michael tells her that they can always look for it another time; however, an insistant Gloria tells Michael that she wants him to find it that moment. When Michael leaves the two women alone, Gloria immediately snaps in to Lauren for her constant interferance. Gloria goes on further to tell her that she knows all about Bardwell wanting her to testify against her. Lauren tells Gloria that she will testify against her, making sure the truth is heard. Lauren further points out that if Gloria wouldn't have let her feud with Jack and Ashley consume her, she wouldn't be in the mess that she is currently in. Both women immediately begin to bicker, causing baby Fen to start crying. Michael, upon hearing the commotion, quickly runs in to break fight.

    When Lily returns home,s she finds Daniel waiting for her. She immediately can tell that he's not in a very good mood. Putting her purse on the chair, she asks him if anything is wrong. Looking at her, he asks her where she went today. She lets him know that she went to lunch with Colleen and then went to pick up her check at Fenmore's. Standing up, Daniel tells Lily that a message was left for her. Pushing the button, he lets the message play. When it ends, he tells her that Neil stopped by as well, wondering if she was squared away in her classes for the summer. Lily is at a loss for words, but Daniel, however, tells Lily that all her hesitation proves that she's lying to him. He knows all about the loan that Neil gave her; and he also knows that the money was used for the down payment for the operation. Lily tells Daniel that she wouldn't even be thinking of plastic surgery if he had kept his eyes off other women on the net. Daniel warns Lily not to turn this all on him and lets her know that if she goes forward with the operation, he will do directly to her parents about what their money is truly going towards.

    At Jabot, Brad stops by Jill's office and is surprised to find Jack there. In an effort to kill two birds with one stone, Brad lets both of them know that he has found the perfect person to be their spokes model for Genesis.

    Adrian's teasing rubs Colleen the wrong way

    Neil is bringing in the mail, when he spots Dru coming out of the bedroom. Looking through it, he spots a letter from Devon from Los Angeles. An excited Dru is thrilled to hear that Devon is doing well. As they continue to read, Dru makes mention that she’ll need to pass the letter on over to Lily. Neil comments that he stopped by their home and was surprised that Daniel wasn’t in the ‘know’ of her summer school plans. Sniffing a little, Dru tells Neil that if Daniel would have dedicated more of his time to her, rather than mess with unsavory habits, then he would know more about what Lily does in her spare time.

    At Newman Enterprises, Ji Min steps on the elevator, in hopes of finding Victor. As he’s waiting to reach his destination, the elevator doors open and Victor, the very person he’s in search for, steps on. Victor asks Ji Min how things are going for him now that he is at Newman. Ji Min tells Victor that he’s formulating a new cosmetics line that is not only more edgier, but also would draw in top notch fashion consumers. Interested in the idea, Victor leads Ji Min into his office. As he’s being shown the project, Victor questions Ji Min if he came up with a name for the possible new line. Smiling, pleased that Victor is amped for the idea, Ji Min announces that the new line will be called Chaos .

    Michael, still trying to get Lauren and Gloria from tearing each other apart, decides that he needs to spend time alone with Lauren. Gloria grows upset when Michael tells her that it would be best if she stepped out for a few minutes. Once alone, Michael tries to apologize for Gloria’s attack against her. A frustrated Lauren tells Michael he can save his apology; no matter what Gloria does; good or bad, Michael will always put her above everything and everyone else. Michael argues that she is wrong; that he does have her first. Not standing to hear anymore empty words, Lauren tells Michael that once the trial is over with; the same will go for their marriage.

    At the athletic club, Colleen and Adrian are having supper together. Adrian comments that he’s never seen Colleen with such a ravenous appetite. Dismissing his comment, she tells him that she’s been so busy that she hadn’t a chance to eat. Adrian tells Colleen that she needs to eat better. Colleen tries to dismiss his comments to her, but when Adrian makes a comment about her eating too much, she becomes frustrated. When the waiter comes by, asking if they would like to order dessert, Colleen, feeling Adrian’s eyes on her, she quickly tells him no. Once he’s gone, Colleen tells Adrian she’s never been so embarrassed by his comments.

    In South Dakota, Amanda and JT return to their hotel suite. On cloud nine, Amanda raves about how well the press conference to discuss the new possible changes to Newman took place. JT kisses Amanda lightly on the lips, telling her that Nick would definitely be proud of her. Amanda makes mention of how Victoria was really pushing for her to go, despite Nick’s reservations. Walking over to the phone, JT calls room service and requests a bottle of their best champagne and a fine cuisine. Returning towards her, JT takes Amanda in his arms and tells her that they have a lot of celebrating to do tonight.

    Colleen opts to go to Lily’s after her disappointing evening with Adrian. When she arrives, she finds Lily sitting on the couch looking at fashion magazines. Lily can tell something is wrong and asks Colleen what happened on her date with Adrian. Colleen talks about how Adrian has been making comments about her eating habits and constantly teasing her about it. Lily tells Colleen that Adrian just cares about her so much that he wants her to be attractive to him. Narrowing her eyes, Colleen asks Lily what she means by that comment. Lily points out that if she did things to improve her body image, maybe Adrian would give her more positive comments. Colleen snaps that Lily is so weak minded that she’s willing to change who she is to please a man.

    NEXT ON GENOA CITY

    KEVIN: I can't believe you are going to give up on my brother. Don't you want your marriage to work?"
    LAUREN: Michael stopped caring about our marriage the minute he helped cover up Gloria's crimes.

    JACK: I don't think that Sharon Newman is the right woman for our new cosmetics line.
    BRAD: Oh come on Jack. She's the best for the job and you know it.

    DANIEL: Look at those images and tell me if it's really worth it, Lily.

    Sharon unknowingly hits a nerve with Drucilla

    Daniel and Lily are having a tense lunch the following day. He asks Lily if she thought about what he said in regards to the breast implant surgery. Lily, not in the mood to have another fight with someone about her decision, tells Daniel that she will make her decision based on what she feels; not based on how someone else reacts to her. Daniel walks over to the desk to retrieve a folder to give to her. He tells her that if he won’t listen to her about the downside of plastic surgery, at least look at true live testimonies from young women that had terrible repercussions from getting the surgery. Lily looks at the images and comments of the other women but quickly closes the folder, dismissing it as pure ‘rare case’ side effects.

    At Jabot, Jack is looking over Brad’s ideas for the campaign to launch Genesis. As they are talking, Jack tells him that they need to seriously think about finding someone fresh and new to represent their product. Brad, seeing where the conversation is headed, firmly tells Jack that Sharon is the person that will be their new spokes model. Jack huffily disagrees and tells Brad that if he has to, he’ll search for a spokes model on his own. It is then that Jill walks in hearing their bickering. Jill, taking sides with Brad, tells Jack that regardless of his personal feelings towards Sharon, they need someone that can really sell the product; someone that people recognize. Jack prepares to say something but Jill snaps that the decisions is made; Sharon Newman will be the Genesis spokes model.

    Over at Newman Enterprises, Phyllis and Nikki are hard at work with coming up with ideas to make a huge launch of Chaos, the new line for Newman/NVP. Phyllis raves to Nikki about how awesome it is to have Ji Min on staff, heading up the project. Nikki states that their goal is to get Chaos products in the spa regions; targeting consumers looking for not only product but products to enhance pampering. Jotting down ideas, Phyllis asks how they should feature Dru in the new line. Nikki tells Phyllis since Ji Min is launching a line that has a edgier side, they could feature Dru in ads that focus on the ‘chaos’ in everyday life, and show how their products still offer a glamorous look. Both women smile, knowing that Dru would definitely like it.

    Dru is all smiles when she sees her good friend, Sharon awaiting her at Crimson Lights. The two women hug and immediately begin to talk about their week-end. Dru lets Sharon know that the family received a letter from Devon, telling them of how wonderful it is in Los Angeles. Sharon is thrilled that Devon has found a career that he loves. When Dru asks her about her week-end, Sharon immediately informs her of the job opportunity she received. Curiosity getting the better of her, Dru insists on Sharon spilling the beans. Sharon tells of how Brad offered her a job at Jabot as their spokes model. Dru, not trying to be mean, asks Sharon if she’s sure Brad offered her the job in good faith. Sharon, not liking the implication, tells Dru that it would be best if they just not talk about their work.

    Kevin, not liking how things are going between Michael and Lauren, pays an impromptu visit to her at Fenmore’s . The minute she sees him, she shakes her head, telling him that she will not talk to him about her choices in her marriage to his brother. Despite her objections to talk, Kevin tries to get her to understand how much Michael loves her and their son. Lauren tells Kevin that love isn’t always enough, especially when someone constantly lets other people test that love. Understanding how she feels, Kevin points out that once the trial is over Michael and she can focus on working on their marriage. Lauren tells Kevin that the day Michael decided to help cover up his mother’s crimes was the day he chose not to focus on their marriage.

    NEXT ON GENOA CITY

    NEIL: What were you and Colleen arguing about Lily?
    LILY: It was nothing dad, it was just a mis-understanding.

    WILLIAM: I wanted to call you to tell you we have someone that may have damaging evidence against Gloria.
    AMANDA: Is this person definitely going to testify?

    MICHAEL (looking at Gloria): I hope to God nothing will come at us unexpectantly during this case.

    William's key witness could tear this happy family apart

    Michael, on the verge of pulling out his hair, looks over all of his notes and documentation; in hopes that he is well prepared for Gloria’s upcoming trial. Gloria, walking out of the kitchen with a small plate of fruit, asks Michael if things are working towards their favor. Glaring at Gloria, Michael tells her that she better be praying that no surprises come to bite them un-expectantly. Gloria, immediately waves off Michael’s concern, pointing out that the only witnesses to knowing her crimes are Kevin and he; and they aren’t talking. Michael tells Gloria that William’s over determination could be their downfall.

    Lily and Colleen are returning back from a day of shopping, when they decide to unwind at Lily’s house. Upon their arrival, Lily gushes about how she can’t wait to try on all her tops once she’s ‘filled out’ some. Colleen tries to hold in her annoyance, but Lily immediately picks up on her friend’s attitude. Lily quickly asks her what her problem is. Colleen tells Lily that she’s growing tired of her constant talk about ‘perfecting’ her body; knowing full well she’s fine the ways she is. Things turn ugly when Lily makes a cutting comment about Colleen needing some ‘improvements’ herself if she wants to keep Adrian’s attention. Just before Colleen can say anything, Neil, coming to pay a visit, walks in asking what all the shouting is about.

    William, coming back from a short lunch, arrives at his office. It would only be a few days before the upcoming trial and he definitely wanted to have all his ducks in a row. Grabbing his case file, he opened it up to view his list of witnesses. As he’s looking over his notes, someone knocks on his door. Instructing them to come in, he looks on as Paul walks in. William immediately asks him if he had any luck in finding someone that may shed light on Gloria. Paul tells him that he has, and instructs the man who’s with him to come in. William is more than ready to begin finding out what connection he has with Gloria.

    An upset Colleen quickly excuses herself from the apartment. Once she is gone, Neil immediately asks Lily what is going on between the two of them. Waving it off as mere bickering, Lily tells her father that things will be okay; they simply had a misunderstanding about something that happened while they were shopping. A skeptical Neil points out that it didn’t sound like a mere misunderstanding and again asks if there is something more that’s going on. Not wanting to delve into it, Lily tells her father that everything between Colleen and her will be fine.

    Back at William’s office, William is face-to-face with Tim, the man that helped set Gloria’s plan in motion. When William begins to question him about that fateful day, Tim tries to pull a tough guy routine, refusing to talk. Paul tells William that he managed to get his confession on tape and that he can present it to him if needed. Not in the mood for games, William tells Tim that if he wants any type of deal, his best bet is to start telling him everything that he knows; if not, be ready to face serious jail time. Not wanting to go back to jail, Tim tells William what Gloria wanted and exactly how much money he was paid for not only the chemical but also how he was paid to stay out of Genoa City. William smiles, pleased that he finally has what he needs to put Gloria away.

    Daniel is heading out of Crimson Lights when he nearly runs into a frustrated Colleen. Immediately putting his departure on hold, he asks her what’s troubling her. She tells Daniel that he has to do something about his wife; that she’s become so fixated on wanting the perfect body. Daniel tells Colleen about how he showed her images of the bad side of plastic surgery, but points out that Lily is too determined to do what she wants. Colleen tells Daniel that he needs to tell Lily’s parents. Maybe if they knew, they could get her to not go through with the procedure. Daniel isn’t too sure he should get them involved.

    Once William has instruction to keep Tim in a location where he’s close by for the trial, he tells Paul to make the call to Amanda. Paul tells William that she’s away on business in South Dakota. William, not caring where she is, tells Paul to get her back to Genoa City immediately. Paul, stepping outside of his office, calls Amanda’s cell phone. When he gets through, he is surprised to hear JT on the other end. Not having time to ask questions, Paul tells JT that Amanda is needed back in Genoa City immediately. When JT asks what for; Paul says that they have a key witness that will help bring Amanda justice for her family. Paul hears JT telling Amanda the news.

    After ending his talk with Colleen, Daniel prepares once again to head home. Unfortunately, Neil walks into Crimson Lights and zooms in on Daniel, telling him about walking in on an argument between Colleen and Lily. Daniel tells him that things have a been a bit tense between them since Colleen transferred college. Shaking his head, Neil says he believes it’s more than that; and he wants to know if Daniel has any ideas as to what’s going on. Shrugging his shoulders, he tells Neil that he can’t assume what’s going on if he wasn’t there. Trying a different tactic, Neil asks Daniel if anything is going on that Lily’s trying to keep quiet. Daniel is left speechless, wondering if he should take Colleen’s advice and tell the truth.

    NEXT ON GENOA CITY

    BRAD (smirking): Well, Victor, it must suck doesn't it? You shouldn't have gotten rid of me. Now I'm making Jabot
    bigger and better.
    VICTOR: I wouldn't be too confident in that, Bradley. After all, I know all of your weaknesses; and I intend on using them.

    KEVIN: You don't understand, Michael. William has a key witness for the trial.
    MICHAEL: What?!? Are you serious? I don't care how you found this out, just tell me everything you know; NOW!

    JI MIN: I think you will be glad by the news I have to share with you. It's concerning Jabot.
    VICTOR: I'm all for good news, especially if it will give me the upperhand against Brad and Jack.

    Jill's slip of the lips becomes music to Ji Min's ears

    Amanda and JT couldn’t get their bags packed fast enough to make their flight back to Genoa City. Once they got home, JT drove Amanda straight to meet William at Crimson Lights. When they arrived, Amanda anxiously questions William about the surprise witness. William informs them that he had Paul doing some extensive investigation in terms of people that may have had contact with Gloria during the time of the crime. JT wonders if the witness will try to back out of testifying. William states that Tim doesn’t want to go back to jail, therefore, he’ll do whatever to keep from going back. Amanda hugs JT, thrilled that someone will be able to put Gloria away for a while.

    At the athletic club, Brad spots Victor dining solo. Not missing an opportunity to rub his latest success in his soon to be ex father-in-law’s face, Brad walks up to him. Victor immediately removes his glasses and stares at Brad, asking him why he’s even stopping at his table. Not phased, Brad immediately takes a seat across from Victor, boasting that he made a grave mistake in buying him out. Victor tells him he knew exactly what he was doing, and makes no apologies for it. Brad tells him he’ll think differently when he helps Jabot sweep Newman under the rug with their latest venture. Before Brad can make an exit, Victor tells him to sit down and listen carefully to what he has to say.

    Ji Min who is heading from the bar of the athletic club, casually spots Victor in a heated conversation with Brad. Shaking his head quickly, he proceeds to the lobby to exit, when he bumps into Jill. Jill immediately smiles upon seeing Ji Min, and asks him how things are going for him. Always flattered by Jill’s kindness towards him, Ji Min tells her that things are going well; and hope the same for her. Looking around, Jill gently pulls him into a secluded area, where she once again asks him to come back to Jabot. He tells Jill that he could never return to Jabot as long as Jack is a strong presence there. The two begin talking and in her excitement of his asking how things are going work wise, accidentally lets slip about Jabot’s new line, Genesis. Once she departs, Ji Min decides on what to do with this latest news.

    William, Amanda and JT are still talking about the looming trial when Kevin comes from the back office. Eyes locked on the three of them, Kevin is more than curious as to what is going on; as well as to why Amanda is back from her business trip. Trying not to be noticed, Kevin quickly finds a spot where he can’t be seen but can ear hustle every detail of their conversation. He thinks that the conversation is boring until JT questions William about his key witness. He’s stunned when William announces that the witness has enough information that could blow any chances of Michael winning out of the water. The minute all three leave, Kevin quickly makes an exit, determined to tell Michael and Gloria all that he’s heard.

    Victor, quite tired of the antics of Brad, tells him that if he as much as tries to make attempts to sabotage Newman in anyway, he’ll make sure Brad’s life is completely destroyed. Knowing that Victor is a man of his word, and knowing exactly what extent Victor would go, prepares his exit. Victor tells Brad to pass that on to Jack as well. Once Brad leaves, Victor spots Ji Min back that the bar, and approaches him. Victor asks him how things are going with Chaos. Ji Min tells him that he looked over the campaign that Nikki and Phyllis have set up for Drucilla to work on. Sensing that Ji Min has something on his mind, Victor asks him if he would like to share what he’s thinking. Looking around, making sure that Jill, as well as Brad, are out of sight, Ji Min tells Victor about his conversation with Jill, and how she unknowingly gave out key information about their new venture, Genesis.

    Michael, who is trying to calm his ever stressed nerves, nearly jumps when Kevin comes barreling inside. Gloria, hearing the commotion comes rushing out, demanding to know what’s going on. Michael states he was about to ask his ‘little’ brother the same thing. Kevin quickly fills them in on the conversation he heard between William, Amanda and JT. Michael immediately demands to know if Kevin was able to find out or hear them mention a name of the witness; however, Kevin tells them that a name was mentioned at all. All eyes lock on to Gloria, who immediately goes in ‘dumb’ mode, wondering who the key witness could be.

    At Jabot, Brad slams his briefcase down on his desk, as he slumps into his seat. Loosening his tie, he dials Jack and tells him to come see him immediately. Going to the mini refrigerator, he grabs a bottle of water and pours some in a glass. When Jack arrives, Brad fills him in on his exchange with Victor. Jack, worried that Brad’s inflated ego might have gave their latest plans away, asks Brad what the purpose was in talking to Victor to begin with. Brad admits he mainly wanted to rub his new position in Victor’s face, but tells Jack that things got heated when Victor slammed him with a warning. Jack tells Brad that if they want to truly beat Victor, they have to do give Victor the impression that they are doing all thing legit as they possibly can. Guzzling the water down, Brad tells him that he has a few ‘key’ components that will work to their advantage in getting the upper hand on the ‘Moustache.’

    Back at the apartment, Michael corners Gloria and asks her if there is anything that she’s not telling him. Gloria quickly feigns hurt, upset that Michael would begin to question her after everything she’s shared with him. In no mood for games, Michael warns Gloria that her ass is the one on the line if she’s keeping information from him. Kevin begins to wonder who would know about the tampering of the skin cream, and immediately wonders if someone on the Jabot staff could have seen Gloria enter the lab. Still keeping his eye on Gloria, Michael begins to wonder the same thing, but quickly dismisses it, saying that a Jabot employee would have busted Gloria in all that time. As Michael and Kevin are wracking their brains on who William’s witness is; a very quiet Gloria worries if her secret scheme to keep a certain somebody quiet has backfired.

    NEXT ON GENOA CITY

    COLLEEN: Daniel, you have to tell Lily's parents what's going on. They need to know the truth.
    DANIEL: I know. I should have told them the minute I found out she used their money to make that down payment.

    BRAD: Sharon, when you were at NVP, did Phyllis and Nikki include you in on any of their upcoming projects?
    SHARON: Of course. They included me in on a majority of them; especially with being their spokes model.

    GLORIA (seeing Ashley walking into the court house): What the hell is she doing here?
    MICHAEL: Did you honestly think that William wouldn't have Ashley Abbott on the list of witnesses?

    Gloria's trial begins and Lily's family rush to stop her from making a grave mistake

    Genoa City Courthouse

    REPORTER: Today is an intense day here in Genoa City, as those await the trial of Gloria Fisher Abbott.
    As many may remember, Jabot Cosmetics faced a big lawsuit when a product of facial skin cream went out, only
    to be discovered to be tainted. During that time, employee, Andrew Gibson’s wife, Emma Gibson died after using
    some of the cream. At the time, it was believed that justice was served, only to discover that new developmentspoint in the direction of Mrs. Gloria Fisher Abbott as the mastermind behind the tampering. Today is her day in court
    and the people of Genoa City will await to see if true justice will be served.

    As jury members find their spots to sit, and citizens of Genoa City make their way into the courtroom, Michael, Gloria and Kevin attempt to find seclusion from the rabid media that are awaiting to pounce on them with heated questions.

    GLORIA (smoothing her over the top dress): Michael, you’ve got to win this case. We’ve got to win this case.
    It never was supposed to happen like this. I didn’t mean for anyone to die (breaking into tears).
    MICHAEL: For God sakes, Gloria, get a hold of yourself. We can’t have you breaking down before the trial even
    gets underway. (Looking around) Listen, when you take the stand, you are going to do whatever,
    I don’t care how, but you are going to do whatever to get the jury to side with you. Do you understand me?
    KEVIN: Michael’s right, mom. You’re going to have to do a performance of a lifetime in hopes of getting out
    of this. Especially if William has that surprise witness.

    Rubbing the back of his neck, Michael clearly is not pleased to know that he’s not on top of his game as to finding out who William’s witness is. Sighing, Michael goes to a door and peeks out to see who all are still arriving.

    MICHAEL: We better head into the court room. As much as we want, we can’t avoid our fates now.

    Jabot Cosmetics

    BRAD: Jack, before Sharon gets here, we need to work on a way to get her to reveal some key information
    regarding NVP if we can.
    JACK: I am way ahead of you, Junior. I was thinking the same thing. It shouldn’t be too hard to get her to open
    up about NVP. Look at it this way, Sharon’s been scorned by the Newman clan just as we have, so, I think
    she’ll be willing to share.

    (Sharon enters the office, greeting both Jack and Brad)

    SHARON: I hope I’m not late. I was catching a bit of the news before coming here. I hear it is a madhouse at
    the courthouse for Gloria’s trial. Jack, why aren’t you there? I know you want to see justice served
    regarding Gloria.
    JACK: Well, Sharon, at this point, I really could care less about Gloria Fisher. I think Amanda Gibson is doing a
    good job at making her pay.
    BRAD: (briefly looking at Jack): Sharon, I was curious about something. Before you were removed from NVP,
    did you have any hands on knowledge about any of their plans to shape the company?
    SHARON: Yeah, I did. Why do you ask?
    BRAD: I was curious as to know just how much you were involved with NVP duties.
    SHARON: Well, because I was the spokes model, I would sit in on their meetings about new product ideas they
    compiled. I know that they have a new product idea that they are working on now. I know at the time they
    didn’t have anyone heading it up.

    Both Jack and Brad look at one another, realizing that the hiring of Ji Min Kim was to head up a new product for NVP.

    CRIMSON LIGHTS

    COLLEEN: Lily, I wanted to apologize for blowing up at you the other day. I shouldn’t have. I guess I’m just
    worried about my best friend.
    LILY: No. No, don’t be sorry. I was way out of line for making some of the comments that I did about you;
    especially after how hurt you were that Adrian was giving you a hard time.
    COLLEEN (extending her hand): Friends?
    LILY: Definitely, Colleen. You’ll always be my best friend. (Checking her watch) You know, I should be going,
    I have a lot to do before Daniel gets home.

    Lily grabs her cell phone and bids Colleen good-bye. Minutes after Lily leaves, Colleen’s cell phone rings. Turning it on, she begins to talk.

    COLLEEN: Hello?
    RECEPTIONIST: Mrs. Romalotti, I just wanted to call to confirm that your operation is scheduled for one
    o’clock this afternoon. See you then.
    COLLEEN: WHAT?! Wait! Hello? Hello? (Looking at the phone, realizing it’s not hers, but Lily’s). Oh, God.

    Colleen immediately dials Daniel’s number

    COLLEEN: Daniel, thank God you answered. Lily’s going through with the surgery. You’ve got to do something.
    DANIEL: Are you sure? She’s supposed to be meeting me this afternoon.
    COLLEEN: Well, Daniel, she lied. Look, you’ve got to tell Dru and Neil. They need to know.
    DANIEL: You’re right. I better call them now.

    Newman Enterprises

    Nikki, Drucilla and Phyllis are looking over the possible photo shoot plans for Chaos. Drucilla, for once, actually likes Phyllis’ photo concepts.

    NIKKI: I must admit, I never thought I would see the day when Drucilla Winters and Phyllis Abbott Newman
    would agree on something. Utterly amazing.
    DRU: Relish in it for now, Nikki, cause you know that it ain’t gonna last.
    PHYLLIS: Anyways…. I think the whole name, Chaos alone screams many possibilities for us. Today’s woman has
    so many things that bring chaos into their lives; work, family, relationships. Those three are excellent
    photo shoot concepts.
    NIKKI: Oooooh, I am seeing such possibilities with this, ladies. We definitely have to thank Ji Min for such a
    brilliant formula.
    DRU: Mmm hmmm. Ji Min is definitely our gain, honey. We should be thanking Mr. Jack Abbott for firing the man.

    As Nikki and Phyllis are talking over more ideas for the three concepts, Dru’s cell phone rings. Stepping to the side she answers it.

    DRU: Drucilla Winters. Daniel, what’s up? Hold on, Daniel you have to slow down. What’s going on?
    DANIEL: You need to get to Memorial Hospital right away. It’s Lily.
    DRU: God! What’s happened to my baby?
    DANIEL: Nothing yet, if we can get to her in time. Colleen called and said that she’s on her way down there for surgery.
    DRU: Say what. Surgery for what? Lord, Daniel ,you better start talking and fast, boy.
    DANIEL: Look, get Neil and meet me down at the hospital before one and I’ll explain everything.

    Dru grabs her things. Phyllis is first to approach Dru with what she’s heard.

    PHYLLIS: What’s going on, Dru? Did something happen to Lily and Daniel?
    DRU: No, but I got to get out of here and down to the hospital now so I can find out what’s going on with my baby.
    PHYLLIS: Go. Nikki and I will handle everything, Dru. I hope everything is alright with Lily.
    DRU: Girl, so do I.

    Genoa City Courthouse

    REPORTER: Our news station just received word regarding The People vs. Gloria Fisher Abbott. We have learned that District Attorney William Bardwell has called three witnesses so far; Ji Min Kim, former Jabot employee, Jill Abbott, who runs
    Chancellor Industries, as well as head up Jabot Cosmetics and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin, who just so happens to be the
    daughter-in-law of the plaintiff, Gloria Fisher Abbott. Each witness gave damaging testimony that could very well be a
    positive for William Bardwell, but disheartening for attorney Michael Baldwin, who is representing Mrs. Abbott. I have
    also learned that William has two more witnesses before the jury is to make its decision; one being that of Ashley Abbott.

    The guard opens the door to let Ashley Abbott in. The courtroom is filled with murmurs as William instructs Ashley to take the stand.

    GLORIA (in a seething whisper): What the hell is she doing here, Michael? Ashley Abbott? You know that she’s going to lie on the stand.
    MICHAEL: Gloria, would you stop talking, please. You have to face reality dear. You know William was going to
    have her on the roster for testifying; just as he had Jill, Ji Min and Lauren. (sighing a little) Keep it
    together, Gloria. Please.

    William Bardwell, who is approaching Ashley begins his deliberation.

    WILLIAM: Ms. Abbott, can you tell me a little bit of your history with Mrs. Gloria Abbott? How did she
    become an employee at Jabot?
    ASHLEY: I can tell you a lot about Gloria, none of which is favorable.

    Michael stands to object based on unnecessary slander against his client. The judge waves it off and lets the statement stand.

    ASHLEY: Gloria was primarily given a job by Jack and myself to keep her busy. She found it in her nature to
    insinuate herself not only into the life of my father, but also into the very company that my brother and
    I have much success in running.
    WILLIAM: When did you learn of the contamination of the skin cream? How did you first discovered it?
    ASHLEY: I had my daughter, Abby with me at the company and she tried some of the cream. Shortly after,
    I notice a deep red rash on her legs where she put the cream at, and she started crying that it was
    burning her. That’s when I rushed her to the hospital.
    WILLIAM: When you found out that the cream could have been contaminated, what did you do?
    ASHLEY: I called Jack and told him, telling him that I was at least glad that only a few samples went out.
    I suggested that we retrieve those and investigate what could have happened. Unfortunately, Jack
    and I couldn’t get them in time.
    WILLIAM: You couldn’t get the product in time? What prevented you from doing so, if only a selected few went out?
    ASHLEY: We found out that a batch of the contaminated cream had been shipped out. A shipment to Fenmore’s,
    several to other store locations. It wasn’t until that evening did we discover that Emma Gibson was
    rushed to the hospital after getting a container of the cream.
    WILLIAM: To the best of your knowledge, Ashley, did either you or Jack ship that merchandise out?
    ASHLEY: No, we did not. The containers that we had were packaged, but they were not to go out. To our
    knowledge someone arranged to have the product picked up. Jack at first thought I might have,
    while I thought it was he.

    As William continues with his deliberation, Michael watches on, getting a sickening feeling in the pit of his stomach.

    Memorial Hospital

    Neil and Dru both rush into the waiting area of Memorial Hospital and immediately interrogate Daniel about Lily.

    DANIEL: Look, I don’t know how to explain this to you, but Lily came here to have surgery done.
    NEIL: Daniel, what’s going on? You have to give us more information other than Lily’s having surgery.
    What kind of surgery?
    DRU: You better get your lips movin Daniel. I wanna know what’s happening to my baby.
    DANIEL: The money you gave Lily, Neil? It wasn’t for any summer classes. She used that money to put a down
    payment on breast enhancement surgery.
    NEIL: What?!? Are you standing here telling me that Lily is getting breast implants?
    DRU (pointing @ Daniel): This is your fault. If you weren’t Googling the ‘hotties’ on your computer, she wouldn’t
    be trying to compete for your attention now.
    NEIL: Dru, this isn’t all Daniel’s fault. Lily’s got a mind of her own. We’ll wait for her when she come in.

    Shortly after Dru’s outburst, Lily walks in and is stunned to see her entire family there.

    Newman Enterprises

    NIKKI: I pray everything is alright with Lily. That family has been through enough this year.
    PHYLLIS: Yeah, they have. Nikki, I was thinking on something.
    NIKKI: What’s that? Please tell me that you aren’t going to change things with the Chaos photo concept.
    PHYLLIS: No, no. Nothing like that. I was thinking that now that Sharon is over there as spokes model for Jabot,
    if we should scrap some of our proposals.
    NIKKI: You think she’s going to tell Brad and Jack about some of the concepts she sat in on?
    PHYLLIS: Um…yeah… We canned her, Nikki. You know she’s going to sing like the blonde-headed canary that she is.
    NIKKI: I have a better idea. Let’s give Jack and Brad exactly what they want.

    Nikki fills Phyllis in on how they can set up some dummy campaigns to trip up the competition.

    Memorial Hospital

    LILY: What are you all doing here?
    DRU: Uh uh, what we want to know is what the hell you’re doing here? And before you even get ready to form a lie,
    I got the 411 already, baby girl.
    LILY: Daniel, you told them? How do you even know about the surg…
    NEIL: So, you are here to have cosmetic surgery. Lily, you stood in my face and lied to me. You took my
    money, knowing all along that you were going to have surgery.
    DRU: Scratch that. Lily, I don’t care if you can get the money back or not, but you’re not having surgery.
    That’s for sure.
    LILY: You can’t tell me what to do. I’m an adult and I am making this decision; not for you, but for me.
    DANIEL: Lily, don’t do this. I showed you the downside of all of this. You saw those pictures; how can you still
    want to go through with it.
    DRU: Baby, he’s right. You don’t know what side-effects and repercussions this can have.
    LILY: Stop it! I’m having this surgery and there’s nothing you or anyone else can say that is going to change my mind.

    Everyone watches in dismay as Lily brushes past them and makes her way to have her operation.

    Genoa City Courthouse

    JUDGE REYNOLDS: Do you have any more witnesses D.A. Bardwell?
    WILLIAM: As a matter of fact, I have one more witness.

    Michael and Gloria are murmuring to themselves. In an attempt to block William’s witness from being presented, Michael objects.

    MICHAEL: Your honor, with all due respect, I was not made aware of this witness. It was never mentioned as to
    this latest person coming, therefore, I think that he should be omitted from taking the stand.
    WILLIAM: Come on Attorney Baldwin, the fact of the matter is that I have solid witnesses that can place your client
    as the primary person that orchestrated the crime at hand.
    JUDGE REYNOLDS: I am going to allow D.A. Bardwell to present his witness. D.A. Baldwin, please sit down and
    refrain from making unnecessary outbursts in my court.

    WILLIAM: I would like to call Tim Douglas to the stand.

    The entire courtroom is silent as surprise witness, Tim Douglas takes the stand. Gloria watches in horror as the very man she paid to keep quiet sat across from, more than ready to tell the truth.

    Lily's latest crisis gives Dru and Neil memories of their first marital strife

    Daniel , Dru and Neil all fret that Lily has made a grave mistake in wanting the implant surgery. As Neil is consoling Dru, Daniel passes back and forth, secretly blaming himself for what Lily has decided to do. When Daniel rounds his steps, he stops when he sees
    Lily coming back to the lobby area. Rushing to her, her entire family surround her asking her what happened. She admits that when she went in there and saw all that would be used to ‘perfect’ her, she grew scared. Lily immediately tells Daniel that she didn’t mean to hurt him or put her decision for a breast job on him. Daniel tells her that her apology isn’t necessary; that all he wants is the woman that he’s in love with. He tells her that he loves her just the way she is, not questions asked.

    As Tim takes the stand, Gloria and Michael stare at one another. William approaches him and asks him a series of questions in regards to how he came to know Gloria. Tim admits that she contacted him, asking for something to contaminate the face cream; even giving him hush money to remain quiet. William asked him if he had any further contact with Gloria since that incident. He stuns the entire courtroom, including Michael, when Tim tells of how he taunted her to pay him more money. When he says that Gloria offered him more money to stay away, he got greedy. When she refused to give more, that’s when he threatened to tell the truth about how she was the one to take the life of Emma Gibson. Michael upon hearing this, merely glares at Gloria for yet another cover up.

    When Dru and Neil return home, happy that Lily came to her senses; the two begin to take a trip down memory lane about their own lives as a newly married couple. Dru asks Neil if he remembers their first big fight with one another. Chuckling a little, Neil tells Dru he knows all too well that their first blow up was about her modeling career with Jabot. As they sit and talk, Neil and Dru talk about how while she wanted to model, his initial goal was for her to continue her ballet. As they cuddle, Dru tells Neil that when she sees Daniel and Lily, she is reminded so much of how they started off. Kissing her forehead, Neil tells her how much he loves her and how he’ll always be proud of her.

    After all witnesses and deliberations have been complete, the judge announces that he will take into consideration about the offer that was presented to Tim for his testimony. Looking in Gloria’s direction, the judge tells her that her recklessness and quest for revenge was a chain reaction for the destruction of many lives; not just Emma Gibson and her family, but for all those that put their heart and soul into a company built by a man who believed in family. The judge points out that although he would like to give her a much stiffer sentence, the most he can give her is five years for second degree murder. Gloria, upon hearing her fate, sobs uncontrollably.

    Amanda, not wanting to stay at the courthouse to hear Gloria’s testimony, decided to head to Newman Enterprises. Once she arrived, she saw Nick rounding the hallway. Coming up to her, he asks her how she’s doing. She tells him that she is doing fine and wanted to share her trip with Victoria and him. Leading the way, Nick and Amanda walk into Victoria’s office. Amanda immediately shares how successful the PR event went in South Dakota. Victoria, trying not to look at her as ‘competition’ tells Amanda she’s glad to hear that. Amanda’s cell phone vibrates and she looks to see that JT left a message of the verdict being in. Excusing herself, she hands Nick her presentation file and heads out.

    Gloria sits with Michael and Kevin in the courtroom, knowing that their moments together will be coming to an end. The officer told them that they only had a few more moments before they would take Gloria to the state prison. Gloria sobs telling her sons that she never wanted to disappoint them. She tells Kevin that she’s truly proud of him and tells Michael to fight for what he wants. The officer comes back and ends their conversation, telling Gloria he has to take her to jail. Tears in her eyes, Gloria asks Michael and Kevin to see her. Once she is gone, Michael grabs his briefcase and without saying a word to Kevin storms out of the court room, angry at everything that has happened.

    As Victoria is going through the Newman Enterprises presentation, she notices several pictures of Amanda and JT. Victoria comments that she didn’t think that it was such a wise idea to take someone on a business trip. Nick scoffs, telling her that she’s only making that comment because the person Amanda is with is JT. Victoria brushes his comment of, pointing out that Amanda was to be there on a business trip, not focusing on creating a new ‘relationship’. Rolling his eyes, Nick tells Victoria to just admit that she’s jealous that JT’s time is no longer with her, but with that of Amanda.

    Nikki and Kay start off their day by meeting up at Gina’s for breakfast. Kay notices the glow that Nikki has and wonders what has brought it on. Nikki smiles and tells Katherine that things are getting better for Victor and her. Curious, Katherine asks how so. Nikki tells her that Victor has been truly pampering her and showering her with love and attention. Katherine lets her dear friend know that she is happy for the two of them. Nikki turns the tables and asks her how things are going for Cane and Jill. Shaking her head, Katherine tells her that while she’s growing closer than ever to Cane, Jill, on the other hand is a whole other matter.

    At the Genoa City mall, Colleen and Lily are shopping for bathing suits for the upcoming Newman pool party. Colleen taking a glance at herself in the mirror frowns at what she sees. She tells Lily that she wishes that she could curb some of her appetite and shed a few pounds. Scoffing, Lily tells her that she looks beautiful. Things fall quiet and Lily takes the time to apologize to her best friend for the comments that she made to her. Both girls hug and continue on shopping. Lily is going through a rack of petite swimming suits when she overhears one of the sales associates asking Colleen if she wants to see some of their ‘specialty’ swimsuits. Colleen tells the sales associate that she’ll ask for help if she needs any.

    At the Carlton home, Brad is thinking of his options of who should represent him in his divorce with Victoria. He was well aware that his dear old ex-father-in-law would do whatever to get Victoria the best; therefore he needs to have the same. Thinking of a moment, he remembers seeing a story about Taylor Forrester’s arrest, recalling the name of the lawyer who represented her during her trial. Stephen “Storm” Forrester. That was the name of her attorney. Grabbing the phone, Brad places a call to see if he can get him as his attorney.

    Victor, who is happy that Nikki is away for breakfast with Katherine, sets him mind on helping his daughter win her battle against Brad in the upcoming divorce proceedings. Going into his office, he opens up his Rolex and pulls the telephone number of the one man who has been a constant representation to the Newman family. Once the person he has contacted answers the phone, Victor is thrilled to hear his familiar voice. Victor immediately asks him if he is willing to take on a case; his daughter’s divorce. On the other end, John Silva, having been gone from Genoa City for such a long time tells Victor that he is more than willing to help an old friend.

    Cane is at Chancellor Industry gathering up his things to call it an early day when Jill knocks on his door. Smiling, Cane tells his mother to come in. The two begin to talk briefly. Jill asks Cane if he is free to have lunch with her. Cane tells her that he made plans with Katherine, but he’d love it if she’d come join them. Jill’s whole demeanor changes and she tells him that she’ll be glad if Cane would for once spent time with her instead of always wanting her to be with Katherine. Cane tells Jill he is growing tired of her attitude towards him in regards to his relationship with his grandmother. A hurt Jill tells Cane that she can’t forgive Katherine for what she’s done.

    Victor and Nikki host their annual Newman 4th of July Pool Party

    Victor and Nikki are overseeing the final touches to the backyard when Nicholas comes by to see if there is any help needed to kick of their annual Newman pool party. Nikki tells him that things look fine, but she just wants to make sure that her guests are very well satisfied. Victor asks if Nick asked if Sharon is coming by with Noah. Nick tells his father that Noah is already at the house getting his swim gear on, but planned on calling to ask if Sharon would like to come. Victor checks his watch and tells Nikki that he’s going to stop by the Carlton home and see if he can pick up Abby for Noah to play with. Nikki tells Victor to hurry back before all the guests get there. Kissing his wife, he heads out to get Noah’s playmate.

    Victoria, who left a few things at Brad’s decides to quickly pick them up before heading to the pool party. When she arrives, Brad curtly tells her to pick up her belongings and leave. Narrowing her eyes, Victoria makes mention of the big shot lawyer he hired on to represent him in the divorce proceedings. Brad scoffs telling her that he wasn’t surprised that she let her father do her lawyer selection either, choosing John Silva to go for the jugular. Before Victoria can comment, Brad’s cell phone rings. When he answers it, he makes it a point to let his soon-to-be ex hear who he’s talking to. Once off the phone, Brad and Victoria begin to argue about Sharon, who he received the call from. The conversation is silenced when Victor appears asking to take Abby to the Newman pool party.

    Nick, who goes inside to make his phone call, is pleased when Sharon answers her phone. He asks her if she’s willing to celebrate the July 4th with them at the annual pool party. Sharon tells Nick that as much as she would love to come to celebrate, she already has plans. Nick, curious as to what she has going on, asks what plans she has made. Sharon is hesitant at first, but admits that she has plans with Brad. Not wanting to lecture her, Nick tells her that she should keep in mind that with the upcoming divorce between Victoria and he, she could accidentally get caught in the crossfire. Knowing that Nick is not trying to judge, Sharon thanks him, but lets him know that she knows what she is doing and she will be fine.

    As guest mill out back, Lily and Daniel are making their way to the refreshments, while Colleen and Adrian are thanking Nikki for the invite. Colleen tells Adrian she’s going to talk to Lily for a second, and finds her best friend nibbling on watermelon. Daniel, taking cue to leave the two girls to chat, makes his way back over to where Nick is standing. Lily asks Colleen if she has her bathing suit on, to which Colleen nods yes to. Colleen points out that she feels a bit awkward but Lily tells her that Colleen looks fine in it. Smiling, Colleen decides to sit by the pool for a bit. As she’s stepping out of her shorts and top, Adrian, who is watching makes the comment about how tight the swimsuit looks on her body. Not knowing what to do or say, Colleen grabs her clothes and makes her way back into the Newman home.

    Back at the Carlton home, Victor tells Abby, who has bonded down the stairs, to wait outside for him for a moment. Once out of earshot, Victor barks at Brad for airing his frustrations within earshot of Abby. Brad tells Victor to take his words and stick it Victoria tells Brad that he better be prepared to lose a lot once they go to court. Sniffing, Brad tells Victoria that he can’t wait to see what she’s got and huffily tells them to leave.

    Lily, who is looking for Colleen finds her sitting on the couch in the Newman living room. Realizing that she’s upset, Lily coaxes Colleen to tell her what has her bothered. Wiping tears from her eyes, she tells Lily that Adrian pointed out how tight she looked in her swimming suit. Lily tells Colleen that she looks fine and that nothing is wrong with her being in her bathing suit. Colleen tells her friend that it is not the only time that Adrian has made comments about her body. Lily tells Colleen that Adrian is being a jerk and that if he can’t see what a good thing he has, then it’s his loss. The two girls start to laugh a bit before making their way back to the pool party.

    Brad and Sharon both are enjoying a wonderful picnic together by the park. Sharon asks Brad how things are going for him. Brad tells Sharon that all he wants to do is enjoy the day with her; not talk about his latest problems with Victoria or any of the Newman clan. As they are eating, Brad asks Sharon if she would like to see the firework show when it starts. Checking her watch, she tells him that it is set to start in the next few minutes. Gathering their belongings, they make their way to the center of the park where many spectators are awaiting for the fireworks to begin.

    At the Genoa City airport, one woman is happy to be returning to place she remembers and loves. As she gathers her belongings from the conveyor belt, she makes her way to a taxi cab. As the cab driver is helping her with her belongings, he asks her if she knows her destination. Sliding into the cab, she tells him where she would like to be dropped off. Flipping open her cell phone, she places a telephone call to Memorial Hospital. As she’s talking, she tells the Human Resources representative that she is all set to meet them the following morning. Once her phone call is complete, she opens her wallet and stares a picture of her loving family. Smiling to herself, Dr. Olivia Winters murmurs that it’s good to be home.

    Lauren slaps Michael with divorce papers

    Victor is reading in his study when he hears a rap on his door. Miguel comes in and asks if he can talk to Victor for a moment. Putting his book down, Victor asks Miguel to tell him what’s on his mind. Rubbing his hands together, the loyal servant and family confidant asks Victor if he can have a some time off of work. Sensing that something may be troubling him, Victor asks if everything is okay. Miguel admits that after seeing so many folks at the ranch enjoying the festivities, he began missing his family and friends. Nodding his head, Victor tells Miguel that he can take as much time off as he needs.

    At the Genoa City state prison, Kevin is awaiting to be allowed to visit Gloria. When the guard leads him to the patrician to talk to her, Kevin notices how fatigued looks. Once the guard leaves, Kevin asks Gloria if she’s getting enough sleep. Gloria admits that being in jail un-nerves her. Kevin tells her that he misses and loves her. She tells him she feels the same and asks him about Michael. Kevin admits that Michael has been having some unsettling news since the case closed. When Gloria asks what has happened, Kevin informs her that Lauren had divorce papers drawn up.

    A unshaven Michael glares at the petition for divorce; still flustered that Lauren wasted no time in serving him with them. As he stands outside of Fenmore’s he wonders if he truly wants to get in to it with her at her place of business. Taking in a deep breath, Michael opens the door and walks in. He notices that Lauren is finishing up with a customer and once they are gone, he approaches his wife. Holding up the papers, he whispers that he wants to talk to her; now. Not wanting to create a scene, Lauren and Michael go into the back office. Lauren tells Michael that she held true to her word that once the case was over, so was their marriage. Rolling his eyes, Michael tells Lauren that she didn’t even have the decency to let him know. Lauren snaps that he now should know how she felt when he ‘forgot’ to tell her about his involvement in his mother’s schemes against the Abbott family.

    Nikki, Phyllis and Drucilla are in deep conversation at Newman Enterprises, dishing about some of the concepts that Ji Min has put into place for Chaos. Phyllis tells both women that Ji Min was more than pleased when she presented their promotions for the products. Dru tells Nikki that she’s more than ready to ‘represent’ NVPs new baby. As the two are talking, Nikki asks Dru how Neil feels about her dedicating her time to being spokes model. Dru tells her that Neil is actually happy for her. Phyllis, hearing their conversation, tells Dru that Neil will have to soon get used to seeing her less once their line gets into full swing.

    At Crimson Lights, Olivia is picking up some pastries and coffee to take back to the Winters home. Looking around, she is in awe at how some things have changed since her return. As she’s awaiting for the cashier to come back with her food, she hears a familiar voice saying her name. When she turns around she is overjoyed to see Brad standing behind her. Giving him a big hug, she asks how he’s doing. Shrugging, he tells her things couldn’t be better. He asks if she is visiting or staying for good. Olivia lets him know that she will be returning back to Memorial Hospital in the next few days. Hugging her, Brad tells her that he’s very happy that she came home.

    Katherine comes across something from Phillip's past.

    Phyllis is checking her watch, impatiently waiting for Drucilla to meet her at the athletic club. Peeking around the corner, she sees that Jack and Jill were conducting a meeting with Brad and Sharon. The minute she spotted them, she knew that it had to be about their new cosmetic line, Genesis. Sighing heavily, she shakes her head, fearing that Dru would trip her up in trying to get some information about their project. When Drucilla finally arrives, Phyllis barks that she’s late. Dru tells her to pipe down and for them to get started in getting what information they can. The two women make their way around to a location where they are able to hear the group’s conversation.

    Across the way, Jill and Brad are discussing some of the layout of how Sharon’s photo shoots should go. As they are talking, Sharon asks Jack if he had a good 4th of July. Jack, trying to make peace with the woman who betrayed him, tells her he did. At a silent moment between them, Jack thinks he hears Phyllis bickering with someone at a distance. Shaking it off, Jack asks Brad if he has some of the different designs for their cosmetic line logo. Brad tells them that the representative that he is meeting with will get back to him within two days. Jack, still sensing that Phyllis is there, excuses himself to check things out.

    At Indigo, Neil is going over an order when Olivia stops in. Smiling at his sister-in-law, he asks her how she’s settling in. She tells him that all is fine and she can’t wait to see some more of her friends. Neil asks if she has decided if she wants to be in Genoa City for good. Nodding her head, she tells him that Genoa City has always been her home and that she feels that it is time to return to what she knows. She also admits that while she was doing medicine out of the country, she just kept feeling that her family needed her, therefore, she decided to come back. Hugging her, Neil tells Liv that the family are more than glad to see her again.

    At the Chancellor mansion, Katherine, upon requesting Esther to bring down some boxes from the attic, is sifting through the mementos. Cane comes from the kitchen with a pitcher of lemonade. As he sits beside her, he asks her what she hopes to find. Shrugging a little, she tells her that she just felt like looking through of Philip’s things that she’s kept. Rubbing his forehead, Cane points out that he hopes she’s not doing this as a way to find some sort of way to make amends with Jill. Katherine notices an envelope and pulls it out of the box. When she opens it, she discovers a picture of what looks to be a woman standing next to him. Taking the picture from her, Cane tells her that something is familiar about the female, however, due to the slight blurriness, can’t truly make it out. Katherine takes the photo and stares at it, curious to know who it could be.

    Victor and Nikki are checking out the stables of the Newman ranch, when Nikki notices that things haven’t been kept in order for a few days. Shaking his head, Victor thinks that it might be beneficial if they hire on a new ranch hand. Nikki tells Victor that it might be a good idea and wonders if he has anyone in mind. Victor says that he will put out a request in the paper and conduct interviews of those who are interested. Looking around a bit, Nikki moves closer to Victor and asks him if he would like to take advantage of the privacy they have in the stables. Victor smirks a little and plants a kiss on his wife.

    Back at the athletic club, Phyllis and Dru are bickering at one another, while trying to attempt to get some dirt about Genesis. The two argue off and on, not realizing that someone has come up behind them. Both women stop talking when they hear a familiar voice asking them what they think they are up to. Turning around, both Phyllis and Dru are looking up at a curious, but slightly ‘amused’ Jack.

    Drucilla and Phyllis, upon being busted by Jack, try to come up with a weak attempt to cover up the fact that they are scoping information from them. Jack chatises Phyllis for going as low as teaming up with her ‘common’ enemy to get the goods about their project. Brad, Sharon and Jill, hearing the commotion, come upon the scene and are not at all surprised that they are trying to gather information in order to get the upper hand against them. Sharon, is even more stunned that Dru would even be helping Phyllis to begin with. As everyone is arguing, Neil comes into the athletic club and zooms in on the commotion.

    Stopping at Crimson Lights to get coffee and to have a friendly ear, Michael makes his way to the counter where Kevin is working. Kevin tells Michael that he really needs to see Gloria. Waving his hand, Michael tells him that he has far more on his plate than to pay Gloria a visit. Seeing that Michael is obviously stressed, Kevin picks his brain in hopes of finding out what is troubling him. Loosening his tie, Michael tells Kevin that Lauren already issued out divorce papers on him without any warning. Sighing, Kevin starts to slam her, but is immediately cut off by Michael. He tells his brother that despite what she did, he will not hear anyone bad mouth her. Kevin apologizes but tells him that if he wants to have a life with Fen in it, he’ll need to do whatever to get that message across to Lauren.

    Jill stops by the Chancellor mansion to drop off a few things, in hopes not to see Katherine. Unfortunately, she doesn’t get her wish when she sees Katherine coming into the living room. When Katherine sees Jill, she immediately tells her about a photograph she found of Philip. Not in the mood to talk, Jill hastily tells Katherine to get to the point. Handing her the photo, she asks if Jill knows anything about it. Quickly looking at it, Jill tells Katherine all she sees is a picture of Philip. Before Katherine can ask any other questions, Jill tells her mother that she came to drop a few things and is leaving. As the door slams, Katherine sits on the couch, still intrigued by the photograph.

    At the athletic club, Phyllis and Dru, after getting an earful from Jack and his crew, begin to bicker with one another; accusing each other of getting busted. At this point Nick comes in and stands next to Neil, who hasn’t moved from his spot of watching his wife and her nemesis going at it. After a few minutes, both men walk over to their wives. Drucilla, upon seeing Neil, quickly begins to tell Neil what happened. Phyllis does the same with Nick. Neil and Nick, staring at one another, start to laugh at the fact that their wives got busted by Jack. Both women try to reason why they had to scope out the competition. Neil, still laughing, tells them they should never go into the spy business.

    Storm Logan meets up with Brad at his house to discuss the upcoming divorce proceedings. Brad immediately talk about wanting to get as much as possible from Victoria for all that he’s ‘been’ through. Waving his hand, Storm says that he has another matter that needs discussing. When Brad asks what it is, Storm immediately tells him that he’s very well aware that he’s been spending time with Sharon Newman. Brad quickly tries to explain that they are just friends. Shaking his head, Storm tells him that he knows exactly ‘what Sharon is to him’ and that was the initial cause for his marriage falling apart. He tells his client keep away from Sharon until after the divorce is final, or expect it to come back to bite him in the ass.

    Across the way, at the Newman Ranch, John Silva is always discussing the ‘dos and don’ts’ to Victoria about the divorce hearing. He asks her if she’s seeing anyone currently. When Victoria raises an eyebrow in curiosity, John says that if she is seeing someone to end it or else have it brought up in the case by Storm. Victoria assures John that she is not seeing anyone. As they are talking, Victoria tells John that although she is not seeing anyone, Brad, however, is not so innocent. John asks who he’s with and is surprised to hear that Sharon, the very woman that caused the rift, is still very much a part of his life. Victoria tells John that she wants Sharon brought front and center in the case. John asks her if she’s sure she wants to have her dragged into the proceedings. Nodding, Victoria tells John that the ‘bitch that stole her husband’ deserves to have the spotlight on her.

    At the athletic club, Paul, who has met Lauren, wonders how she’s holding up now that the case of Gloria has ended. Sighing, Lauren tells Paul that she has started divorce proceedings on Michael. Looking at Lauren, he asks if that is the best thing for her to do. Lauren admits that although she loves Michael deeply, she can’t stay married to a man that keeps secrets from her. Paul tells Lauren that she might want to be careful as far as to Finmore; pointing out that Michael will never allow the boy to be out of his life. Tears begin to fall from Lauren’s eyes, and a compassionate and concerned Paul embraces her. It’s at that moment that Maggie, who is walking in, spots the two of them in their embrace.

    NEXT on GENOA CITY

    Victoria tells Victor and Nikki that she plans on winning the divorce suit. Sharon receives a subpoena to appear at divorce court. Michael threatens Lauren with a custody battle when she says that is going through with the divorce.

    Brad tells Sharon they need to stay away from one another

    Upon seeing Paul and Lauren embracing one another, an unsettled Maggie decides to walk in on the scene. When Paul sees her standing there, he immediately smiles and tells her that he’s glad to see her. Maggie, looking at Lauren, questions if everything is okay. Lauren, wiping her eyes, tells Maggie that she just needed a listening ear for a moment. Grabbing her purse, she thanks Paul and quickly walks out. Once alone, Maggie, makes her way to their table. Paul, who follows behind her wonders why she is quiet. Once their waiter arrives with menus and leaves, Maggie wonders if she can ask a question: how close are Paul and Lauren.

    At Jabot, Brad and Sharon run into one another in the break room. Smiling, Sharon tells Brad that she had a ‘wonderful time with him’ over the holiday. Brad admits that he always has a wonderful time when they are together. Excited at hearing him say this, Sharon opts to make plans for the two of them to have dinner together. Unfortunately for her, Brad tells her that they will need to step back from one another for a bit. A confused Sharon asks for a reason. Taking her hands, Brad tells her that until the divorce if final, and for the sake of her not being dragged in the middle, they need to be a part. A heartbroken Sharon reluctantly agrees.

    At the athletic club, Colleen and Lily are meeting up with a trainer to renew their memberships for the gym. Colleen is happy that Lily is joining again as a support system for her. Lily tells Colleen that she will do anything to be there for her friend. As they are filling out their renewal forms, Lily asks if Adrian apologized for his cutting comments about her bathing suit. Rolling her eyes, Colleen tells her that although he apologized, in his voice, she can tell that he still finds her body image a problem. Lily tells Colleen to shake it off and prepare for a wonderful night of dinner later on.

    Lauren stops by Michael’s, giving him the chance to spend the day with Fen. Once inside, Michael tells Lauren that they really should sit down and talk about her wanting a divorce. A firm Lauren tells him that there is nothing to talk about. Michael places a sleeping Fen into the spare nursery and returns to continue their discussion. He tells her that he will not just agree to a divorce without the two of them at least sitting down to talk. Lauren blasts Michael, asking him if he wanted to take the time to talk to her when he was going behind her back covering up crimes and lies for his family. A heated Michael tells her that the matter with Gloria was different and that it was something that he had to do. Tossing her hair a little, Lauren tells Michael that divorcing him is something that she ‘needs’ to do. When she turns to walk away, an angry Michael grabs her arm and threatens to fight for custody of Fen if she goes through with the divorce.

    At dinner at the athletic club, Daniel and Lily are talking softly to one another, while across from them, Adrian is asking Colleen how her day has been. Colleen tells him that she had a busy day, however, was glad to make arrangements to get back into a workout routine at the club. When the waiter comes to take their orders, everyone, except Colleen orders a full meal. When it is her time to order, she opts to have a grilled chicken dish, with a side salad. Lily smiles at her friend, proud that she is taking the first steps of slimming down. Colleen’s positive mood however, turns sour when Adrian asks what happened to her usual ‘huge’ order of pasta and shrimp. Colleen tells him that she wants to eat a little bit sensibly. Her feelings become hurt when he comments to her that it was about time she ate ‘wisely for a change.’ Both Lily and Daniel watch in silence as Colleen quickly wipes away a tear getting ready to fall.

    Victoria is sitting in the master study when both Victor and Nikki come in, laughing together. When they see their daughter, both sit across from her, full of questions about John Silva’s visit to the house. Victoria tells them that he instructed her not to involve herself in any type of romantic relationship. Victor agrees, pointing out that if Brad’s ‘hotshot LA lawyer’ has any ammunition to use against her, he will. Nikki chimes in her two cents that Brad will do whatever to insinuate that they had something to do with the dissolve of their marriage. Victoria smiles and tells her parents that she is determined to beat Brad at his own game. A curious Victor asks his daughter what she has planned; Victoria merely smirks saying he’ll find out soon enough.

    Sharon, who was winding down her day at Jabot, is preparing to leave when she gets a knock on her door. When she opens it, a gentleman is standing at the other end. He immediately asks if she’s Sharon Newman. When she says that she is, and asks why he wants to know, he quickly shoves an envelope in her hands and tells her to have a nice day. Closing her eyes, Sharon is nervous as to what she has been given. Opening the envelope, she is stunned to see that she has been subpoenaed to appear at Brad’s and Victoria’s divorce case. Snatching her purse, a furious Sharon makes her way to the one person that set ball in motion.

    NEXT on GENOA CITY

    SHARON: You had me subpoenaed ? Are you serious?
    VICTORIA: Are you or are you not the home-wrecking bitch that slept with my husband. Because if you are,
    then that’s why you’re being summoned.

    ADRIAN: How many times do I have to tell you that I am sorry for the way I acted at dinner tonight?
    COLLEEN: You can say it for as many times as you like, Adrian. It still doesn’t change the fact that you said some
    very hurtful things to me.

    LILY (to Daniel): Adrian was such a jerk for the comments he made to Colleen. How can anyone say things like
    that to someone they love?

    Walking into the Abbott mansion, Colleen makes her way to the couch. Adrian, knowing that he’s in the dog house, remains silent when he comes into the room with her. Sitting across from her, Adrian tells her that he is sorry for hurting her feelings. Looking up at him, Colleen remains silent, pulling off her jacket to her outfit. Running his hands through his hands, he tells her that he doesn’t know why he made the comment to begin with and truly wants her to know how sorry he is. Locking eyes with him, Colleen tells Adrian that he can say sorry till he’s blue in the face; she’s not going to forget the hurtful comments he’s said to her; especially in front of her friends.

    Lily and Daniel, who are also at home, are talking about the tense evening at dinner. Lily tells Daniel that she thinks that Adrian is a jerk for the comments he’s been making to Colleen. Daniel, loosening his tie, tells his wife that some people just have serious hang-ups about body image. Cringing, he immediately apologizes, pointing out that she was not who he was directing that comment towards. Nodding, Lily tells him that she understands. Looking at him, she asks Daniel what he thought of Adrian’s comments. He points out that Adrian has a good woman in Colleen and that if he’s not careful, his constant put downs will push her either away or push her into doing something harmful to meet his standards.

    After talking to Victoria, both Victor and Nikki decide to head into the kitchen to get something to eat. When they leave, the doorbell rings. Pulling herself off of the couch, Victoria opens the door to a furious Sharon. Victoria tells Sharon that she has no time to talk to her and prepares to close the door on her. Blocking her, Sharon pushes her way in and waves the document in Victoria’s face, demanding to know what her reason for subpoenaing her was. Victoria snaps that since she’s the ‘home-wrecking’ slut that got with her husband, she will be presented as such. The two get into a heated argument, when Victor and Nikki race to see what’s going on. When Sharon makes a comment to Victoria not being ‘woman enough’ for Brad, Victoria gives her a powerful slap across the face. Victor quickly pulls Victoria away, while a smug Nikki tells Sharon to leave before she gets another dose of what she just received.

    Katherine, still holding on to the mystery picture of Phillip, summons Esther to bring down the box she saw up in the attic. When Esther returns with the box, Katherine immediately begins to go through its contents. Esther asks what it is she’s looking for. Not looking up, she merely tells her that she wanted to look through some old pictures that she remembered having. When Esther offers to help, Katherine shoos her away. As Kay is removing items from the box, she spots another box at the bottom of some of the contents. Pulling it out, she opens it up to see more photographs of Phillip with various people. Flipping one of the photographs over, she’s stunned once again to see the name “Freddie Wilson” scrawled on the back.

    A infuriated Sharon arrives at Brad’s house, ready to give him the details of her being summoned by Victoria’s lawyer. Brad tells Sharon that it’s not a good idea for her to be there. Sharon tells him that she could care less what is a good idea or not; she wants to talk to him about what Victoria is doing. Closing the door quickly, Brad leads her to the couch and has her explain what happened. She tells him that a courier came to subpoena her and how she got into a shouting match with Victoria. Grimacing a little, he tells her that he’s sorry that she’s going to be in the spotlight. When Sharon pours on the tears, Brad immediately holds her in his arms.

    NEXT on GENOA CITY

    LAUREN: Daniel, is it possible if you can ask Phyllis to bring Summer by? I thought it would be nice for Fen
    and her to play together.
    DANIEL: Sure, I don’t see why it would a problem.

    GLORIA: No matter what Michael, you fight for your son. If Lauren wants to walk out on you, then you fight her back.
    MICHAEL: It’s not about fighting her, Gloria! I just don’t want to lose her; I don’t want to lose my son!

    VICTOR: Excuse me, son? May I ask who you are?
    TYLER: Um… I came to apply for the job of ranch hand. This is the Newman residence, isn’t it?

    Lily is folding clothes when Daniel sneaks up on her, grabbing her in his arms. She asks him what he’s doing there so early. Daniel tells her that he missed her too much and just had to stop by. The two of them immediately pull apart when Lauren come from the back room. Shaking her head, Lauren assures Daniel and Lily that she’s not going to scold them. When a customer comes in, Lily excuses herself to help them. Lauren asks Daniel how Summer is doing. Daniel tells her that she is getting bigger by the minute. She soon asks if it is possible to talk to Phyllis into bringing Summer to see Fenmore. Realizing that things are strained between the two of them, Daniel doesn’t hesitate in getting his mother into setting up a play date.

    At the Genoa City Courthouse, Brad and Victoria, both awaiting the judge, individually think to themselves of having a clean victory against the other. When the judge arrives, the proceedings get under way. Storm Logan begins by trying to paint Victoria as a vindictive wife who couldn’t accept the fact that their marriage was long over before it began. Logan goes as far as to say that Victoria and the rest of the Newman family opted to humiliate Brad by forcing him to leave a company he put his ‘heart and soul’ in. Once Storm finishes, John Silva steps up and talks about a wife who wanted to be cared for by a husband; a husband that opted to cheat one week after his wedding. As the opening arguments are going on, Brad and Victoria glare at one another.

    Victor and Nikki are returning back to their house, after a day at the stables. When they get closer, they notice a young man standing at their door. Victor immediately asks what he’s doing there and what it is that he wants. A little nervous, the young man quickly introduces himself as Tyler, and that he was interested in the ad in the paper requesting help at their stables. Softening a bit, Victor opens the door and instructs the young gentleman to come in to be interviewed. After hearing about all of his works as a stable boy, as well as having expertise in handling horses, an impressed Victor tells Tyler that he can start first thing tomorrow morning. Nikki, although glad that Victor has found someone, has a leery suspicion about the young man.

    After final deliberation, the judge returns with his decision on their divorce. The judge tells them that it was not a hard decision to make, after reviewing all the testimony. Brad, who thinks that he will win, smugly smirks in Victoria’s direction. Victoria, however, keeps her head held high and eyes straight in the judge’s direction, awaiting his decision. The judge announces that Brad’s request to obtain half of Victoria’s earning has been denied; pointing out that with the lifestyle that Brad is living now, as well as his new position at another company, there’s no need to take anything from her. The judge also points out that he finds Brad’s reasons for making that request to be purely malicious and as a way to get even for being discovered for his infidelity. Hitting the gavel, the judge announces that the marriage of Brad and Victoria Carlton is dissolved.

    Sitting across the glass patrician Michael smiles at Gloria, who is more than happy to see him. She asks him how Kevin is doing, to which he tells her fine. He questions if they are treating her well. Waving a hand, Gloria tells Michael not to worry so much about her; she’s a fighter. She soon asks Michael if Lauren has come around to making up with. Michael grows quiet before revealing that Lauren has drawn up divorce papers. A livid Gloria tells Michael that if she wants to end their marriage then he should fight hard and seek full custody of Fen. A hurt Michael tells Gloria that it isn’t about demanding custody of Fen; he doesn’t want to end his marriage.

    Standing outside of the courthouse. Victoria dials JT. When he answers she tells him that she is officially single and wants to meet him to tell him all the news. On the other end, JT tells her that she can meet him at Gina’s. Folding her cell phone closed, Victoria smiles as she quickly walks past an agitated Brad and Sharon. Once out of sight, Brad curses that the judge could have at least let him have some sort of compensation from Victoria. Sharon tells him that as established as he is, there’s no need to have anything else reminding him of his relationship with Victoria. Pulling Sharon close to him, he asks her now that it is all over; now that he’s free, is she still interested in being with him. Closing her eyes, Sharon draws him into a kiss, giving him her answer.

    NICHOLAS (to Phyllis): You have gone months without speaking to Michael or Lauren. Don’t you think it’s time to end the animosity?

    KATHERINE (to Jill, handing her a photograph): Tell me who that is.

    JILL: It’s Phillip, Katherine. You know that.

    KATHERINE: Yes, but who I don’t know is Freddie Wilson.

    SHARON (to Brad): If we’re going to do this, it has to be real. No more fun and games.

    BRAD (kisses Sharon): Is that real enough for you?

    A trip to see Lauren puts Phyllis and baby Summer in danger

    Daniel stops by the tack house to speak to Phyllis. He tells her that Lauren wants to set up a play date with Fenmore and Summer. Phyllis says that she will have to check her schedule. Tonight is the only free night she’s going to have in weeks due to NVP. Daniel says that Lauren is free tonight as well and was hoping Phyllis could come over. Phyllis tries to make up excuses to get out of it, but Nicholas encourages his wife to forge the friendship with Lauren for the kids’ sakes. Finally, Phyllis agrees to go over to the Chancellor estate and see Lauren and Fenmore. She promises Nick that she will try her best to work out her problems with Lauren as well. With a kiss on the cheek for daddy, Phyllis and Summer head out.

    Michael is sitting at the GCAC, ordering drinks. He admits to Gina that he went to visit Gloria in prison and this is the result. Gina is not surprised and feels for Michael and Kevin to have Gloria for a mother. Michael toasts to Gina. Out of the corner of his eye, Michael spots Lauren trying to backtrack out of the club before he sees her. Michael calls out to her and invites her to the bar for a drink. Lauren doesn’t want another argument like they had before. She doesn’t want to hear Michael threaten to sue for custody. Michael apologizes for her outburst. Through talking, Michael admits that he fears that a divorce will only distance himself from Fenmore. Look at what happened between Michael and his father. Lauren promises Michael that she would never take Fenmore from him. He has her word.

    At the Chancellor estate, Esther welcomes Jill back. Jill tells Esther to take her snide remarks and shove them! Katherine excuses Esther and thanks Jill for agreeing to come over. Jill informs Katherine that she cancelled a date because Kay sounded like she was going to have another stroke. What could have been so important that she had to see her? Katherine shows Jill the photograph and asks Jill to name the person. Jill automatically recognizes Phillip and asks for the point of this. Kay turns the photograph around and shows Jill the name, Freddie Wilson on the back. Who is Freddie Wilson? Jill claims to have no idea. She points out the date that the photo was taken, 1961, and says that it would have been before she and Phillip even knew each other. Jill says she never heard anyone call Phillip by any other name than his own.

    Victoria arrives at the club and says her hellos to Michael and Lauren before joining JT at a table. She thanks him for coming to meet with her. JT asks what’s up and Victoria admits that the divorce has been finalized. She only wishes she were actually free from Brad Carlton, but the baby she is carrying will link her to the man forever. JT is glad that Victoria has finally taken control of her life and congratulates her. Victoria says she owes a lot of credit to JT. He was always there for her. JT notices Amanda walking into the club and calls her over, much to Vicky’s chagrin. JT tells Victoria that he and Amanda were planning to have dinner and that is why JT asked Victoria to come to the club. Amanda asks Victoria if she would like to join them, but Vicky declines. She needs to head home, and thanks JT for all of his help before leaving.

    Brad and Sharon return to the ranch. Brad asks if Noah will be coming in, and Sharon says that Noah is staying with a friend at his cabin for the week. Sharon asks Brad if he was serious about what he said earlier. Does he really want to try a relationship out? Brad points out how much he and Sharon have in common. They have fun together. Sharon tells Brad that he was there for her when she needed him most after Cassie died. Sharon admits that, from that point on, she always thought of Brad as more than a friend. Brad and Sharon wind up in a kiss, but Sharon pulls away. She tells him that she is done jumping from man to man. She tells Brad that if they’re going to start something, it has to be for real. Brad kisses Sharon again, and asks if that felt real enough for her. Sharon gives in and kisses Brad back. Brad carries Sharon upstairs.

    Lauren is heading up to the Chancellor mansion when she receives a call from Nicholas. He asks to speak with Phyllis because her phone is off. Lauren is confused and says that she is not with Phyllis, nor has she been. Nicholas wonders where his wife went to if she didn’t go to see Lauren. Meanwhile, Phylliss’ car is seen turned upside-down on the highway!

    Olivia has to call Nick with some very startling news about his loved ones

    Jack is flipping through paperwork when he realizes the time. Rubbing his eyes, he closes the folder marked Genesis, and places it in the file cabinet. Grabbing his jacket, he is heading out of his office when Jill bumps into him. Jack jokes that he thought he was the only one working late. Jill admits that she wants to make sure Genesis is off to a good start. Looking at his watch, Jack asks Jill if he would like to accompany him back to the mansion to hash out some more ideas. Smiling, Jill is more than willing to take him up on his offer.

    Dialing his cell phone, Nick becomes frustrated when Phyllis doesn’t pick up her cell phone. Dialing Daniel’s number, he asks his step-son if he heard from Phyllis at all. A confused Daniel asks Nick if he’s aware that Phyllis is with Lauren. Nick tells Daniel that Lauren called to ask if Phyllis was still coming with Summer. A worried Daniel tells Nick he’ll try to call her cell phone and go to some of her spots to see if he can locate her. Nick says he’ll continue to call to see if anyone has seen her.

    Getting out of his car, an older gentleman notices the upturned car. Running towards it, he realizes that a woman and a baby are in the car. He immediately calls out to the woman, asking if he can hear him. Phyllis, who is in the car, faintly cries out for him to check on her baby. When he sees that the baby is not stirring, he immediately dials 911, instructing for an ambulance to meet him at an accident scene.

    Olivia is having dinner with Neil and Drucilla when they both ask her about her living situation. Olivia admits to getting a room at the athletic club. Dru waves her hand, telling her sister that it’s silly to blow her money on a place like that when she can stay with them. Shaking her head, Olivia worries about putting them out. Neil tells his sister-in-law that she will stay with them until she finds a place of her own. As they are talking, Olivia gets a page from the hospital. When she calls, she finds out that two accident victims are being brought in. She excuses herself to head to the hospital.

    Sharon and Brad are lying on the couch, fully enjoying one another’s company. Brad tells Sharon that she looks beautiful. Smiling, she tells him flattery will get him everywhere. As the two are cuddled together, Sharon points out that they will need to take things extremely slow; for the sake of the children. Realizing that she is right, Brad tells her that he will do whatever he can to make the transition acceptable for both Noah and Abby. Looking at him, Sharon tells him she loves being with him. Both seal their conversation with a kiss.

    Knocking on the door, Victoria barges in on Nick, who is still calling to see where Phyllis is. Without giving him a chance to talk, Victoria tells Nick that she made a fool of herself at the athletic club. Nick, who is clearly agitated, tells Victoria that she’s going to have to cut to the chase. She tells him about her meeting with JT, only to see him with Amanda. Nick points out that JT and she don’t have a relationship, and that she’s going to have to get over her dislike for Amanda. Victoria is set to tell Nick how she feels when Nick gets a call. When she notices the change of expression in his face, she asks what’s wrong. Nick says that Olivia called to tell him to get to the hospital; Phyllis and Summer were in an accident.

    Jack and Jill are seating on the couch at the Abbott mansion drinking wine, when Jill looks around at their surroundings. Scoffing a bit, Jill tells Jack that when she was in the Abbott household, she always made sure that the mansion had a hint of style. Rolling his eyes, Jack tells Jill that her time at the mansion was ‘decades’ ago; times as well as style changes. Jill tells Jack that despite being older, she still has a lot of fire to her. Raising an eyebrow, Jack challenges her to a night of skinny dipping in the pool. Not backing down from a challenge, Jill takes him up on the offer and begins to race through the house to get to the pool. Jack is soon close at her heels. Unfortunately for Jill, her anxious sprint causes her to trip herself up, twisting her ankle in the process. A worried Jack, unsure of what to do, immediately helps her to his car to take her to the hospital.

    A frantic Nick, who raced to the hospital upon getting the news about his wife and daughter, is awaiting for Olivia to emerge to tell him about their conditions. Daniel and Lily rush into the lobby, and upon seeing Nick, rush to find out what is going on. Nick explains that someone found her car overturned on the highway and got her to the hospital. Lily asks Nick if he needs anything to drink. Nick, who is too worried declines, demanding to know what’s taking Olivia so long to get back to them. Lily consoles Nick, telling him that her “Aunt Olivia” won’t keep him waiting; she wants to make sure everything is alright with both Phyllis and Summer. Victor, Victoria and Nikki race in, and quickly begin asking questions about both injured. A frustrated Nick tells them that he hasn’t received any word on their condition. Victor, wanting answers makes his way to the admitting desk and requests answers about his daughter-in-law and grand-daughter.

    Amanda and JT are dining on take-out at the loft when JT makes the suggestion of them taking in a movie. Jokingly, Amanda tells JT that the last two movies he suggested were pure adventure flicks. Twirling a strand of Amanda’s hair, JT murmurs if she’s more into the ‘romantic’ mood. Glancing at him, Amanda tells him that maybe they should just head upstairs to see what type of romance they can create; after all, who needs a movie when they can make their own magic right there and then. Without a moment’s hesitation, JT and Amanda head upstairs where they consummate their relationship for the very first time.

    Olivia approaches the family and tells them that while Phyllis has a few bumps and scrapes, Summer, on the other hand, is in need of serious treatment. Nick asks what type of treatment could she possibly need. Olivia points out that when the ambulance brought her in, she was suffering loss of blood. Victor tells Olivia that she needs to do whatever she can to save his grand-daughter. Knowing the strain on the family, Olivia excuses herself to attend to seeing what’s going on with Summer. Daniel offers to be the one to talk to his mom about Summer, however, Nick states that he wants to be the one to break the news to her. As Nick makes his way towards her room, the rest of the family all worry about the prognosis of their littlest family member.

    Upon arriving at the hospital, an embarrassed and slightly annoyed Jill blames Jack for her mishap. Jack tells her that he wasn’t the one that told her to rush to prove that she still ‘has it’ and tells her that she will be just fine. She snaps that Jack always brings out that bad in her. Smirking a bit, Jack says that he’ll take that as a compliment. When a nurse wheels Jill to be examined, Jack makes his way into the waiting area. When he approaches, he sees the entire Newman family, along with Daniel and Lily there. Approaching Daniel, he asks what’s going on. Daniel tells Jack that Phyllis and Summer have been in a car accident; and although Phyllis is fine, things don’t look good for Summer.

    Going into Phyllis’ room, Nick sits beside her, taking her hand in his. Closing his eyes, he is thankful that she is alright; however, not at all up for having to break the news about their daughter. Opening her eyes, Phyllis weakly smiles at her husband, who is stroking her hair. Nick whispers that she’s lucky that the person who found her was able to get her and Summer to the hospital in time. She admits that she doesn’t know what happened that caused her to swerve off the road. The question of Summer comes up. When Nick is hesitant to answer right away, Phyllis demands to know what is going on with their daughter. Nick tells her that Summer is in critical condition due to a large loss of blood. A distraught Phyllis sobs, continually blaming herself for what has happened. As Nick tries to console Phyllis, Jack, who has made his way towards her room, spies the couple’s heartbreak.

    Nick confesses to Sharon his fears about Summer's health

    As Nicholas is trying to console a distraught Phyllis, he reminds her that Summer is a fighter and will pull through this. Wiping her eyes, Phyllis tells Nick that she’s to blame for what’s happening; that if she would have just gone to Lauren’s without holding a grudge, things might have been different. Holding her in his arms, Nick tells her that she can’t be to blame for an accident. Olivia walks in and tells Nick and Phyllis that they are going to be setting up blood donating for Summer. Nick asks if she’s told everyone about it yet. Seeing the stress on both their faces, Olivia assures them both that all family and friends are more than willing to get started with donating blood.

    Neil, stepping off of the elevator of Newman Enterprises and offers up his condolences for Nick and Phyllis concerning Summer. He immediately asks if there is anything he can do for him. Victor, pleased that Neil is always one to be there in a time of need, instructs Neil to handle all business for him until Summer is out of the woods. Nodding, Neil tells Victor that he will handle things on all fronts. Stepping on to the elevator, Victor asks Neil to stop by the hospital with his family to see if they are possible blood matches for Summer. Neil tells Victor that he will be there to visit as well as offer up his donation.

    Rounding the corner of the hospital, Sharon finds a few family members talking to a nurse in the lobby. Daniel, who is there, approaches Sharon and tells her all that is going on. He asks her if she’s willing to donate blood to help Summer. She immediately agrees and asks Daniel if Nick is there. He tells her that Nick hasn’t left Phyllis’ side since arriving here. Sharon, unsure if it’s the best thing to go to Phyllis’ room, is relieved to see Nick coming into the lobby. Both lock eyes on one another and they embrace. Sharon asks Nick how he’s holding up. Slumped on the couch, Nick tells Sharon that he is afraid that he is going to be reliving the same nightmare as he did when they watched Cassie slip from them. Taking his hand, Sharon tells Nick that he needs to be strong; he must believe in his heart that Summer will pull through.

    Stopping by Michael’s Lauren, who is in a rush to return back to Fenmore’s, tells Michael that some of his mail got sent to the Chancellor estate by mistake. Michael, hoping to have a chance to talk to Lauren, asks how Fen is doing. Lauren, hoping not to have another heated argument with Michael about seeking custody, tells Michael that his son is doing fine. Mike is about to ask a question but Lauren tells him that she has to go back to work. Once she’s gone, Michael looks through the mail, and immediately looks at an envelope that has no return address on it. Curious as to what it is, Michael rips open the envelope and begins to read. Sighing heavily, he realizes that the letter is from his biological father, Lowell Baldwin.

    Neil, who has taken refuge in the office of Victor Newman, is looking over business reports when he hears a rap on the door. Walking over, he opens it to find Ji Min Kim on the other side. Extending his hand, Neil introduces himself and tells Ji Min that he’s heard that he’s join the team of Newman. Ji Min questions if Victor will be arriving to his office. Neil informs him that Victor is dealing with a family crisis at the moment and that he will be in charge until Victor returns. When Ji Min hesitates to share his business with him, Neil tells him that he can surely help him if he’s willing to tells him what may be going on. Shaking his head, Ji Min tells Neil that he much rather relay his information with one of the Newmans. Neil, upon Ji Min’s departure, is slightly offended at being brushed off.

    Lily is at Crimson Lights picking up some food and coffee to take back to the hospital, when Colleen and Adrian approach her. Colleen immediately tells Lily that she’s sorry to hear about Phyllis and Summer. Lily lets them know that everyone is being asked to donate blood to find a match for Summer. Adrian says that he’ll be willing to go to the hospital to lend his support to the family. As they are talking, Drucilla comes in and spots the group talking. Sensing that something has happened, Dru asks what’s going on. She’s soon informed about Phyllis and Summer. Lily says that they are all going to the hospital to donate blood and suggests that she come with them to donate blood as well. Drucilla immediately agrees, pointing out that despite it being Phyllis, she is willing to help save her child’s life.

    Michael and Paul set out to track down Lowell Baldwin

    Paul is looking over the letter that Michael has brought to him. Michael tells Paul that it’s been years since hearing from the man that he regrets calling ‘father.’ As Paul is reading the contents of the letter, he asks Michael what was his possible urgency to write. Shrugging, Michael says he doesn’t know; which is why he’s asking Paul for help. Turning on his computer, Paul types in the address that’s printed on the envelope. Scanning through his findings, he tells Michael that he sees that a Lowell Baldwin lives in Atlanta. He also states that the Baldwin in questions owns a bar. Michael asks if he’s willing to accompany him in a trip to Atlanta. Paul jokes he was about to ask him the same thing. As they are preparing to make plans, Michael’s cell phone vibrates. Answering it, he’s surprised to hear Nick’s voice on the line. He’s even more surprised to learn that Phyllis is in the hospital. Turning off his phone, Michael tells Paul that he needs to get to the hospital to see Phyllis, but to make sure to book a flight to Atlanta as soon as possible.

    Neil is sipping coffee, awaiting Dru to return from donating her blood. Rubbing his chin, it is clear that Neil is still upset at the way Ji Min dismissed him at Newman Enterprises. When Dru comes back, she can sense that something is bothering her husband. Sitting across from him, Dru begins to pick his brain. Sighing heavily, Neil relays what happened at Newman. Waving her hand, Dru tells Neil not to be so upset by Ji Min; pointing out that he is used to talking directly with those who put him in charge. Shaking his head, Neil points out that until Victor returns, Ji Min will have to just accept the fact that he needs to address business matters with him. Both Neil and Dru turn their heads when they hear the voice of Ji Min, who has arrived at the hospital, talking to Victoria.

    Bringing flowers to Phyllis’ room, Lauren sits across from her. Phyllis tells Lauren that she’s glad that she came to see her. Lauren tells her friend that no matter what, she would never desert someone that has been there for her so many times in the past. Hearing Lauren’s kind words affect Phyllis, who begins to cry a little. Taking her hand, Lauren tells Phyllis that she needs to be strong for her little girl; Summer, like her mother, is a fighter, and will pull through. Wiping tears from her eyes, Phyllis embraces Lauren at her kind words.

    Victoria thanks Ji Min for his kindness in wishing her family well. As they are talking, she spots Neil sitting with Dru. Looking at Ji Min, she informs Ji Min that while her family are trying to get through their latest family crisis, Neil will be in charge of all things Newman until her father states otherwise. Ji Min tells Victoria of his conversation with Neil. Victoria tells Ji Min that he will need to relay key information of Chaos to him, since she’s having him oversee things. Ji Min accepts the change of hands in power and excuses himself to talk to Neil.

    After showering, Nick makes his way to the Newman ranch to have a heart-to-heart with Noah. When he enters the foyer, he spots his son outside reading one of his comic books. Approaching, Nick asks Noah what famous super-hero he’s reading up on now. Smiling, Noah shares one of the up-and-coming characters he’s thrilled about. Nick tells Noah that he needs to talk to him about something. Noah immediately becomes upset, wanting to know if something bad has happened. Calming him down, Nick tells his son that Phyllis and Summer were in a car accident. Noah wants to get to the hospital now to see them. Pulling him back, Nick tells him that Summer needs for her big brother to be strong for her. All the strength each family and friend has can help Summer get better. Noah cries saying that he doesn’t want Summer to die like Cassie. A heartbroken Nick hugs his son.

    Jill calls Brad out for his true interest in Sharon

    Tyler, still getting accustomed to the Newman ranch, finds himself wandering in the grand living room. Looking around, he smirks to himself at all the things ‘rich folks are used to having.’ As he is letting his eyes roam over the room, he spots a beautiful black baby grand piano in the corner. Without realizing it, Tyler makes his way to the piano and sits himself down. In a matter of minutes, Tyler is playing Braham’s Lullaby by complete memory. Being taking with the music, Tyler doesn’t realize that Nikki, who upon hearing the music, is standing watching him in complete awe and fascination.

    Paul and Maggie, who are having their usual coffee date at Crimson Lights are discussing business as usual when he makes mention of leaving for Atlanta with Michael. Raising a curious eyebrow, Maggie jokes since when did he and Michael take trips together. Shaking his head, Paul tells Maggie that Michael requested his services in locating his biological father, Lowell Baldwin. Maggie questions what brought on the need to search for him; to which Paul explains the letter Michael received. As the two are talking, an unnoticeable Kevin, who is doing what he does best, hears everything that is being said, and makes it a point to talk to Gloria about it during his visit with her.

    Hugging Phyllis tightly, Michael tells Phyllis that all of her nine lives should have been up a long time ago. Smiling a little, Phyllis says that she’d give all her lives just to bring Summer out of the woods. Michael tells his friend that he offered his blood donation and is assured that Summer will get well. Phyllis, not wanting to talk further about Summer’s dire situation immediately asks Michael how he’s been. Michael lets Phyllis know that he received a letter from his father. He also tells her that he plans on locating him to find out why after so many years, would he contact him. Phyllis tells him to just be open to hear whatever he has to say. Scoffing, Michael says that Lowell Baldwin better have some really good reasons for writing him to begin with.

    A startled Tyler quickly removes himself from the piano, quickly apologizing for being in the grand living room. Nikki waves off the apology, and instead asks Tyler how long he’s been playing the piano. He admits that he’s been playing since he was about seven. Wanting to talk to him further and share her love of piano, she offers Tyler a glass of lemonade. Sitting across from her, Tyler is curious to learn that Nikki has been playing the piano for many years. Without hesitation on either ones part, each begin talking about their favorite composers and what melodies they’ve played the most. After finishing his lemonade, a slightly flustered Tyler tells Nikki he should get back to the stables.

    Jill is picking up take-out at Gina’s when she spots Brad and Sharon at a table together. Glancing at them, she sees Sharon is in completely taken by Brad’s over the top charm. Rolling her eyes, she nearly wants to gag when she sees Sharon swoop in for a kiss and then excusing herself to go to what Jill believes could be the ladies room. The moment Sharon is gone, Jill approaches Brad demanding how far he’s willing to go with ‘Ms. Pop-Tart.’ Smirking at Jill, Brad takes a sip from his glass and informs Jill that he is very well aware of what he is doing; and he’ll do whatever he must to get whatever information to put the kibosh on Newman Enterprises. Before leaving, Jill tells Brad to be careful before he winds up having everything explode in his face.

    Olivia makes her way into Phyllis’ room to let her know that a matched blood type was found. Phyllis, thinking to herself that it could be Nick’s blood that will save Summer, asks if they are going through the transfusion now with Summer. Olivia informs her patient that Daniel was the perfect match for his baby sister. She tells Phyllis that she will return to give her updates on Summer as soon as she can. As Olivia is heading towards her office, she approaches one of the lab technicians who ran the blood tests. She asks him if either Nick or Phyllis were suitable donors, just in case Summer is required to have another transfusion. Looking over the files, the tech states that neither Phyllis or Nick were suitable matches and makes his way back to the lab. Olivia can’t understand why neither parent had Summer’s matched blood type.

    Gloria is more than thrilled when she sees Kevin paying her a visit. Touching her hair, she quips to Kevin that she’s sorry for looking slightly a mess. Kevin tells his mother that she looks fine, despite the lack of a dye job. Gloria shushes him and asks him if anything new has been happening for either him or Michael. Kevin, not missing an opportunity to spill some news he’s overheard, begins to ask his mother about a Lowell Baldwin. Narrowing her eyes, she quickly asks Kevin why he’s curious about him. Kevin points out that he’s not interested in the man; Michael is. Gloria insists on knowing everything that Kevin has heard. Kevin says that Michael and Paul have planned to take a trip to Atlanta to find him. Staring directly into Kevin’s eyes, Gloria tells her son that Michael is in for a lot of heartache and regrets if he lets ‘that man’ back into his life.

    Jill gives Sharon a reason to wonder about Brad

    Victor, upon coming home early from work, spots Nikki standing by the piano. When she doesn’t budge when he calls out to her, he makes his way by her, touching her on the shoulder. Startled a little bit, Nikki smiles at her husband. Victor questions what’s on her mind. Nikki talks to Victor about finding Tyler playing the piano. Victor asks what prompted him to do that. Shrugging her shoulders, Nikki tells her husband that she was upstairs when she heard the music being played. She does admit that they had a little conversation about their love of piano music. Nodding, Victor tells his wife that he will have to keep an eye out for the young man to see if there’s anything else to be learned about him.

    Lily calls Colleen about meeting up for their usual lunch date. When Colleen opts to take a rain check, Lily immediately asks if everything is going okay. Colleen admits that she just wants to get good workout at the gym instead of eating. A worried Lily tells her friend that she has to eat as well. Colleen promises Lily that she’s not skipping a meal; she just wants to get in a good exercise. When they two hang up, Colleen grabs a small Ziploc bag of celery sticks and a bottle of water, making her way to the gym. Lily, who is at Crimson Lights spots Adrian who is reading the newspaper. Sitting down across from them, Lily asks him if he has a moment to talk. Folding his paper, Adrian tells her he has some time to spare.

    Walking into the hospital room, Olivia is ready to give Phyllis and Nick the news about Summer. Phyllis, not wanting to hear bad news, tells Olivia to just tell them what’s going on with their daughter. Nick grips Phyllis’ hand. Olivia tells both parents that Summer is out of the woods and is doing fine. Phyllis immediately wants to see her daughter, however, Olivia tells Phyllis that although she is out of the woods, Summer does need her rest. Nick tells Olivia is he grateful for her staying by their daughter’s side. Smiling, Olivia leaves the two alone to talk. As she’s standing outside their door, Olivia is still puzzled by Nick and Phyllis’ blood types.

    Sharon is walking past the elevators of Jabot when Jill calls out to her. Stopping, Sharon greets Jill. Jill asks her how she likes working at Jabot. Sharon admits that it is taking some getting used to, quickly pointing out how wonderful Brad has been in making her feel a part of a team. Trying not to roll her eyes, Jill clears her throat and tells Sharon that she needs to be careful when it comes to Brad Carlton. Curious as to why Jill would make such a comment, Sharon asks if Jill has something against Brad. Laughing a little, Jill tells her that she has no problem with Brad, but she knows how Brad operates. Once again, Jill tells Sharon to be careful when it comes to working extra close with Brad.

    Jack questions if Brad was able to get more information about Newman Enterprises from Sharon. Not wanting to get into it, Brad tells Jack to give his interrogation a rest. Determined to get what he wants, Jack tells Brad that they agreed that they would do whatever to get Sharon to open up about anything concerning Newman at the time that she was still employed there. Jack makes the suggestion that Brad sets up an intimate moment with Sharon; maybe while entranced, she will give him some information. Slamming his files down, Brad tells Jack that he, not Jack, will decide just how far to go to get what he wants.

    Adrian wants to know what’s on Lily’s mind; obvious that it has everything to do with Colleen. Not mincing words, Lily tells Adrian that he should be careful of the words he uses with Colleen when it comes to her wanting to lose weight. Sighing, Adrian says that Colleen has only voiced her hurt once. Lily says that despite Colleen not outright saying anything to him, his words still have an effect on her. He asks Lily if Colleen has said anything to her about what they are discussing. Lily tells him that he made his comments public when they all had dinner together. Lily points out that if he loves Colleen as he says he does, he needs to start being a support system rather than someone that breaks her spirits.

    Coming into Brad’s office, Sharon fills him in on a conversation she had with Jill. Brad immediately wants to know what Jill and she talked about. ‘You’ Sharon points out to him. He asks what was discussed. Sharon tells Brad that she was warned about how he ‘operates.’ When Brad tells her that he doesn’t know what Jill is trying to pull or get at, Sharon asks him if she has cause to doubt Brad’s sincerity for her. Shaking his head, Brad pulls Sharon into a kiss. All the while he’s kissing Sharon, he’s plotting his way to not only keep Jill and Jack off is back, but also find a way to get what he wants from Sharon.

    Colleen tells Lily to take her advice and stick it

    Phyllis is cooing at a happy Summer when Jack stops by with tons of gifts to celebrate the little baby’s recovery. When Phyllis looks at her former spouse, she admits that she feared the worst; but is thankful that so many people wanted to help. Taking a seat across from her, Jack asks if it’s okay if he held Summer for a few moments. As he holds the baby, he tells her that she is strong like her mother, and that she will always be surrounded by love. Phyllis thanks Jack again for wanting to donate blood for Summer. Still looking at the baby, Jack tells her he would do anything for the little girl that stole his heart.

    At the ranch, Nick is going over possible ways to help welcome Phyllis and Summer home. Victor tells him that they could have another pool party if that is something she would like. Nikki tells them that what Phyllis needs is something low key; something that won’t over-exert her or the baby. Grabbing his cell phone, Nick contacts Lauren. Lauren, immediately tells Nick that she will help gather some of the party decorations, and points out that he could have the meal be a variety of Phyllis’ favorite things. Hanging up the phone, Nick asks Nikki to have the cooks prepare a list of favorite foods of Phyllis’ while he gets together with Lauren to get the decorations to help welcome his wife and daughter home.

    Jill is overlooking some documents on the Genesis project when Brad walks in unannounced. Jill asks what brings him to see her. Brad immediately tells Jill to cut the act; that he is aware that she was sending warning signals Sharon’s way about him. Closing the folder, Jill tells Brad that Sharon should know what she’s getting herself into; she won’t apologize for forewarning the over-sexed woman. Folding his hands across his arms, Brad tells Jill that she might want to mind her business when it comes his personal life. Not at all phased by Brad’s ‘little’ tantrum, Jill barks that when his personal life affects business, she will be involved.

    Colleen and Adrian are having a light lunch when he brings up his talk with Lily. Colleen asks what they talked about. He tells his girlfriend that Lily wanted to stress the importance of being a support system to her; not to make hurtful comments about wanting to change her image a bit. A frustrated Colleen tells Adrian that Lily had no right speaking for her. Shrugging, he tells her that Lily was only saying what she said because she cares about her. Colleen, however, still feels that it was none of Lily’s business.

    Dru and Lily are gathering up their bags they managed to load up on during their big shopping trip. Lily tells her mother that she is famished and would like to go to the athletic club to get a bite to eat. Looking at her watch Dru opts to go inside of Crimson Lights instead, since they are closer. Not wanting to ruin the moment, Lily agrees that maybe going there would be better. As they walk into the café, Lily spots Colleen and Adrian. Putting her bags down by a table, Lily tells Dru that she wants to say hello for a few minutes. When Lily approaches the couple’s table, Colleen asks Adrian if she can have a few minutes with Lily.

    Jack wasn’t expecting to be pounced on the minute he walked into his office. Brad immediately tells Jack to get Jill to back off of him where Sharon is concerned. Jack tells Brad that Jill has every right to want to make sure his little ‘personal’ relationship with Sharon is not spilling over into the dealings with Jabot. Loosening his tie, he tells Brad that their goal is to get whatever Newman information they can from Sharon; what he does with Sharon after the fact he could really care less about. Looking Jack in the eyes, Brad tells him that he better have Jill neutralized and out of his way.

    Lily can sense the minute Adrian left the table, that something was wrong. Colleen tells Lily that if they are going to continue being close friends, she’s going to have to learn to stop meddling in her business; especially business that concerns her and her boyfriend. Lily tells Colleen that she is NOT sorry for telling Adrian to be supportive of Colleen; the comments that he’s said to Colleen were hurtful. Colleen, growing frustrated, lashes out at Lily to mind her business; just as Lily had suggested when she tried to help her with her own body image concerns. A hurt Lily quickly excuses herself from the table.
