  1. The slow walkback begins:
  2. This is turning into an embarrassment for Beltway media who, in addition to cheering for war at the behest of their longstanding contacts in the brass, fiercely hoped this or the infrastructure bill could be the first big Biden scandal after months of 'boring.'
  3. ^ This is especially an issue with Ron's work in the 2010s and onward, at every show he's been on. All men under 55 exist as hot, dumb marks, unless they are outsize, broad villains or antiheroes, or camp or all of the above. Women are similar but it's most prevalent with the men.
  4. She's terrible and as a young adult could go for the Garren Stitt Crown.
  5. A good thread:
  6. It's cute that you think I have literally any influence with him since I think we last spoke in the first Obama term. Though I am far from the only poster who has found the aggressively horny on main shít in the regular threads uncomfortable for many, many years, I gave up on anything being done about it over a decade ago and unlike him I don't see a point in bringing it up now.
  7. Didn't the Elmans do the hurricane which then promptly killed Peter and Diana's child?

The final trailer is great. They've nailed the Celestials and it's great to see Richard Madden and Kit Harington.
  9. LOL, what's your point? The Beltway media has always loved this war and their sources in the military brass. Doesn't matter to the public, which still wants us out. Explicate your specific point. Meanwhile:
  10. Most of what you say is implausible and regularly disproven, but we've never stopped you from posting here.
  11. I thought Laura was brought back by Tom Donovan's regime and some other writer, but again, as per what we discussed a few weeks back, there is a lot of fog surrounding that period and when Marland actually got there vs. his name being on the scripts. (Who created Bobbie, etc.)
  12. Guza's reputation has dined on "Clink/Boom" for decades, and I believe it was him who opted to pair Jax with Brenda and not Lois. I can't believe that story turn was in Labine's notes. But I can believe Carly being Bobbie's daughter and stealing Tony was.
  13. Only Frank would be ridiculous enough to hire Mr. Sheffield to play Victor Cassadine (who died, IIRC).
  14. Any time they get Maura whining and crying about her face, her needless kids, you name it, I don't buy it. And I think Maura has always leaned into arch camp (again, what DRW has always called 'Fire Marshall Bill from In Living Color') with Ava, which makes it even more OTT and hard to take seriously. Ava is camp! Ava is evil! Accept it.
  15. Were they entirely wrong, though? Most of those characters are forgotten; the Webbers aren't. And Laura and Lee were brought back by later regimes, I believe.
  16. They've been on the fence about Ava for years bc they want Maura to be able to play a conventional heroine sometimes like on ATWT and I have no patience for it when she starts crying and whining. I feel like even Maura doesn't buy it for Ava so she just camps it up.
