  1. This feels like rather wan bait. Lulu is his mother. She has raised him for most of his life. Period.
  2. I didn't like Sonny/Alexis as a serious romance and had been a fan of Sonny and Carly from '99 to 2003 or so, but I had no problem with keeping Kristina alive. The larger S&C fanbase was absolutely deranged back then and many of them were actively campaigning for the baby to be undone and be blamed on Sonny's guard Johnny raping Alexis. I thought that was beyond the pale and could not get behind that. I liked Alexis and I thought the long secret of Kristina was just plain good soap. It could've been held back even longer from Sonny IMO. The problems with Kristina are about how they've handled her since she grew up. Neither Kristina nor Molly were taken seriously as leads for over a decade and it's cost them down the road, first with the many Mollys who don't register for me including the latest and then with Mansi who they awkwardly tried to force into a series of unpopular stories. But none of that had to do with Kristina's existence being a mistake IMO. She just should've been used much better. If both Sam and Morgan weren't dead (and if I didn't badly want to kill Donna lol) I would say you could do a suicide/mental health story for Kristina to kill her off and cut your losses. But with all those deaths I wouldn't go there, I'd just send her away for however many years and try to look at it again with fresh eyes someday far from now.
  3. She was still calling that baby Adella as recently as a couple weeks ago which is insane to me. She has never fully owned up to what she did. Molly just got over it. Which I find insane, but that's the FV way often on this show. Just bulldoze through things, then if it really falls apart you either scuttle the character (like Natalia) or back off and hope people forget. In this case they backburnered Kristina so much for the last year and kept going right up to the line of having Alexis institutionalize her, then pulled back. I think they knew a long time ago the audience wasn't buying it and that JJ was not going to save her after he opted out, so they just kept their heads down, buried the character and waited til people were ready to watch happy scenes with Molly and Kristina onscreen. FV rarely admits failure with a character in story unless he absolutely has to (which he did with Natalia and Austin) but that was close enough.
  4. Britt is there now, and I am getting the same vibes as how they tried to power through it with both KM and ELR. I just don't understand why this regime does not learn.
  5. Ethan is clearly Ava's latest trade dick. And I support it tbh! It's the kind of silly shít that suits them both and could actually lead to a fun story, like all the other Ava stories they've dumped in the last two years. 5 times is a stretch! Lexi is already crawling through the vents though.
  6. I don't think GH or FV are prepared to weather those TMZ headlines. When actors make major news like that he lets them go. Same with Haley Pullos, Tyler (who crashed out at DAYS instead and was not invited back) or Nathaniel Marston (well, twice). I think Kirsten is done for good, at least for a number of years unless she really cleans up her life. Which I hope she can. But I would write Maxie out quietly offscreen and I suspect that is exactly what will happen. I would wait to recast, but not too long (and would probably not have a recast on contract or around a lot, for now anyway). But I would want to send the message to KS that she no longer has an easy return waiting for her til she focuses on getting real help.
  7. Since the day he arrived and she was gone for a year!
  8. Which is generally what happens when poor Lexi Ainsworth is in the role, and I'm sure she is already at the Prospect Studios gate as we type. "Just checking in!" But no, I agree, I would send Kristina fully away for a long time. No more of these random appearances with Lexi and so on. The plan was bad for Kate from the start in part because the show had already made it clear for many years they did not take Kristina seriously as a major character. Molly has the same problem today. Letting her direct was another signal to me that she was out soon. It felt like a consolation prize while running out the remainder of her contract.
  9. Lexi will just come waltzing back in for more of Kristina's tedious bi-annual appearances. They have pretty much mangled any attempt to make this character a lead for 15+ years.
  10. It's crazy to me they didn't know how bad she could get after all this time. I am sure some of her troubles were kept quieter but they have been dealing with Kirsten's issues for the better part of 20 years (and the stories about her actually do date back to her debut on the show). It's just magical thinking after a certain point.
  11. Not surprising. I'd been expecting it since JJ left and her airtime went into the Phantom Zone.
  12. tbqh I think it was stupid at this point for them to angle any major story around Kirsten knowing full well her recurring issues, and given that she had allegedly already started to get erratic again IRL before exiting the show in summer '25. If it had been 2024 maybe she was functioning, but not last year. But I think it was pointless to bring back RP period. There is no chance she comes back any time soon IMO. This is not like her past exits where they let her spin a story and played along. So for me, for now I'd write Maxie and Spinelli out offscreen in a few lines of dialogue.
  13. Yes, we know who played Mikey.
  14. The last known Barrington I recall is the unfortunate Rafe Kovich Jr. from 2013-14 (Alison's son with Caleb from PC), who of course is dead. I am sure there can always be more out there, just as there can be more Q cousins a la Alex's side of the family or Morgans like Chloe and so on. I would bring back Mike Webber to see Laura for Lesley's memorial, however that happens, but I'd be shocked if they did. I'd hope they'll at least do a letter or call from him and Blackie.
  15. It's possible. We know #MeToo and a change in management contributed to ABC finally taking notice of Franco and ordering FV to kill him off (and subsequently refusing his request to just bring back Todd Manning, which led to Austin). Looking back on the 2000s and early '10s, I think the lack of rape and overt sex in the current show is not just a show choice but a network one in recent times. (Not that I think the show needs a lot more rape) I do think there is at times a weird and uncomfortably Oedipal undercurrent to the Rocco/Britt stuff that a past Guza team's darker, sleazier instincts probably would've brought out explicitly had he likely wanted to dispose of her lol. As bad as this story is I'm very glad we're not seeing anything like that.
  16. That was Monica.
  17. It's beyond me too, for the same reason. Richard Hatch was one of a kind in the way you mentioned. I thought Eric Nelsen had a touch of that poor little boy quality in 2013.
  18. That is great. I always wondered how Amy exited. Again, if the show ever returned it's a character you could bring back as an elder (and bring things full circle). Likely without Rosemary Prinz lol.
  19. "Britt makes Rocco promise to call his parents after she succumbs to her disease and dies" is insane work lmao. Just wild. If this isn't deliberately tanking her and/or setting up another undoubtedly tragic exit story, I just...
  20. I really am beginning to think so, for the reasons I stated above. As for Jason, Liz is one thing but the Joss/Cassius stuff alone he will have a very hard time forgiving. Time for GH to fire this ho yet again! (By which I mean the hospital firing the character)
  21. Nah. She's just a thief.
  22. This is really beginning to feel like the hard left they finally did with Natalia last summer. I had my suspicions about KT's future some time ago, and even more obviously once Britt dimed out Joss to Cassius (let alone knew about him all along). But everything that went down here this week is just not going to be handwaved. It feels like a long exit ramp, or breaking bad. I will lay decent odds that Rocco gets hurt during this fiasco, and then you'll know Britt is really cruising for either a world of hurt or an exit from the show.
  23. Lord. Taking Rocco and jacking Liz up! It really is curtains for Zoosha. Sorry, Britt stans!
