  1. Yes, and he was the grandpa on Brooklyn Bridge, and guested on L&O several times. God rest him.
  2. ^ Yes...I always loved Bruno/Lee Curreri.
  3. My great-grandparents watched AMC and GH in its early years. They'd eat lunch and then settle down to watch the stories. My great-grandmother absolutely loved "Nurse Jessie".
  4. Agreed. The premises are timeless and could/would work in any time period.
  5. Thank you, @watson71!!
  6. I feel physically ill after reading Uma Thurman's story. I was never a Quinton Tarantino fan, but knowing that he was the director and could have prevented her accident by getting a stunt driver as she had requested makes him just as guilty as Weinstein in my eyes. He failed to protect her.
  7. I loved Amy as well, and never was able to figure out why Shell Kepler never got a real story in the entire 23 years she was on the show. It was under JFP's watch that Shell was unceremoniously dumped and Amy was never seen/referred to again, right? 😠
  8. I know Ada never remarried, but did she ever have another love interest before passing away?
  9. That's so sad. He did terrific work on TD, not just as Rex Everlee, but as the maintenance man in Mama Simpson's apartment (who was a bit sweet on her) and as the grouchy justice of the peace who married Mike and Toni when they ran off and eloped. I loved when both daytime and primetime shows had such colorful character actors.
  10. What a crock. Who else thinks these so-called officers of the law were paid off? 😠😠😠😠😠
  11. Julia Duffy (The Doctors) and Burke Moses (Loving, ATWT, OLTL) are currently appearing together onstage in The Outsider. http://www.playbill.com/article/manoel-felciano-julia-duffy-burke-moses-star-in-paper-mills-the-outsider
  12. Generations was owned by NBC, so it definitely would have been Frons' call.
  13. On the Larry Nassar front: http://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/22298251/father-three-daughters-tries-attack-larry-nassar-courtroom In my opinion, this dad should get a medal!!
  14. Didn't the Hobson brothers show up after Charley had died? Speaking of which, was Fred Scollay let go or did he choose to leave?
  15. I'd never heard that. How sad. 😢
  16. Judith Light always brings something special to every role and show she does. I wish she'd come back to SVU as Judge Donnelly.
  17. God bless him. I'm glad that more men like him are coming forward, and I'm sure Mr. Winter will be able to help others with his story.
  18. Matthew Tobin was a lot of fun, I will say, for the examples you just provided. There was a photo from the show's 12th anniversary party in 1975, with David O'Brien holding both Liz Hubbard's son and Matthew Tobin's daughter. Glad to see that the kids got along much better than their parents' characters did!! 😊
  19. Yes, and toward the beginning of her stint on GH she was also making several appearances on ABC primetime - Bewitched. She played a secretary at McMann & Tate, and got to display her comedic chops. 😊
  20. The late Ken Harvey, who played Doug Martin for several years, popped up on a 1975 episode of The Doctors on Retro TV a few days ago. Ironically, his SFT wife, Ann Williams (Eunice), originated the role of TD's Maggie.
  21. I've corresponded with her back and forth for awhile. She's an absolute doll.
  22. I love the theme song, too. I can't wait for Penny to come back to town and ruin everything. 😂
