  1. I think we're starting to see the beginning of the end (the rerun cycle is currently in June 1975).
  2. @Khan, looks like neither of us will get our wish: http://ew.com/tv/2018/02/07/law-order-svu-raul-esparza-exit/
  3. Here is Nicole Eggert on The Talk: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BqLwMIA-HlY
  4. Jennifer Houlton stayed on as Greta until the summer of 1980, when she left the show to become a full-time college student at Cornell. Gracie Harrison took over and played Greta from 1980-81, and Lori-Nan Engler became the final Greta from 1981-82.
  5. By the way, as of 2016, the statute of limitations on rape in California was reinstated: http://www.latimes.com/politics/essential/la-pol-sac-essential-politics-updates-no-more-statute-of-limitations-for-rape-1475096216-htmlstory.html
  6. I just wish it wasn't an unwritten rule to take down Christmas lights right after the new year. Yes, take down the Santas, reindeer, candy canes, etc., but I think just the lights on the houses is just something that would be cheery to see on the dreary January and early February nights.
  7. She called his bluff. I don't know what will happen, but I doubt if he will see jail time. In my case, I spoke to a police detective and even though he believed everything I said, he told me there just wasn't enough evidence to press charges against my abuser. Whatever happens in this case, I'm glad that he's being taken down a peg. I personally think he's a misogynistic creep who used his clout to intimidate others and to get his own way.
  8. You're afraid of snakes, too? I know we share a phobia of bees. 😨😨😨😨😨
  9. Well, David O'Brien as Dr. Steve Aldrich stayed until the final episode in 1982 (as did Jim Pritchett and Lydia Bruce as the Drs. Powers). Meg Mundy (Mona Aldrich Croft), who returned to the show in summer 1975 (which means we will be seeing her very soon in the rerun cycle) also stayed until 1982. Liz Hubbard was written out of the show in spring 1977, but returned as Althea in early 1981 and stayed through the series finale. Carolee Campbell left of her own accord in March 1976, and the character of Carolee was recast with Jada Rowland. She, too, stayed to the end in 1982.
  10. QT has always given me the creeps, going way back to 1994. No surprise that he would defend the likes of Polanski and Weinstein. 😠😠😠😠😠
  11. What year was The Chateau introduced? How long was it around?
  12. Thanks for sharing that!! It's fun seeing Anna Stuart in her signature role again after seeing her in over four years' worth of reruns as the ingenue on The Doctors.
  13. Meanwhile, Steve continues to be the most ignorant husband on TV. Poor Carolee is already saddled with Karen and Ann. Mona will be back in the reruns soon (and Meg Mundy would stay with the show until 1982). Is anyone else reminded of the three witches of Macbeth? 😨😉
  14. Not really, except for his troubles when his arm was temporarily paralyzed. Their wedding was off-screen, but they did get some pretty racy honeymoon scenes!! I'm still shocked that the green speedo Palmer Deane (Hank) wore got past the NBC censors of 1974!! In any case, I believe the Iversons stay on until 1976. I read in an old SOD synopsis that Hank had accepted a position in Boston.
  15. Wow!! That's probably not a good show for real-life spouses to perform (see also: Taylor/Burton). Glad that they made it through. I remember him most as the grandfather in Brooklyn Bridge (Art Garfunkel sang the theme song) - my grandmother loved that show. I also vividly remember his L&O appearances - especially as the trial judge in the chilling first season episode "Indifference". May he RIP. Prayers and love to his wife and family.
  16. I think there was probably writer changes in there, because that whole story is so confusing. 😨
  17. Thanks for clarifying all that, and for adding the clip. Even though Audrey became the show's matriarch in the decades to come, she really didn't seem like the typical soap heroine...Jessie did.
  18. We can only hope!! I don't blame you.
  19. Thanks. I didn’t think we had ever seen her.
  20. So do I. God rest them. ❤
  21. "Lily! Get me the ax!" 😉😂
  22. Did Nick's mother ever appear on the show?
  23. The fallout in the NYC restaurant business continues in the wake of the Mario Batali scandal. NO ONE wants to work at his restaurants, even though he has stepped away: http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/confidential/mario-batali-restaurants-struggle-restaff-chef-exit-article-1.3777068
  24. I heard one fan describe Lucinda/Lisa as the Joan Crawford/Bette Davis of ATWT. What do you think?
  25. Jessie did bear at least one child, who was stillborn. Did Emily McLaughlin's alcohol problems result from the tragic loss of her husband, Jeffrey Hunter? I've read in a couple of books and soap magazine articles that she took his passing very hard and fell into severe depression.
