  1. Glenn Jones is next, and then Kenny Lattimore.
  2. One of the biggest problems is that most of the time, the kid mumbles/whispers his lines so that you can barely hear him. Would it be too much for MJ to drop him off with Rose so Tom can search the want ads uninterrupted for a couple of hours? I think they started this plot with good intentions, but the execution fell flat.
  3. Who was the first soap actor to make the transition to writing soap operas? Who else acted and wrote on their soaps at the same time? The only ones I can think of are Lois Kibbee and Meg Bennett.
  4. Eddie's AWHP and Nicolas' SB site (published in both English and his native French) are the two best and comprehensive soap sites I've ever seen. Incredible work put in by both.
  5. The two Sara Dancys - Antoinette Panneck and Dorothy Fielding:
  6. The cast, December 1978:
  7. It would have been a much better story than what we're seeing now. No offense to the little guy playing Ricky, but he just wasn't a very talented juvenile actor. It was a rare misfire from a show that had a very good track record with child actors - Jami Fields, Eileen Kearney, Jennifer Houlton, the first three Billy's, and especially Keith Blanchard. The sooner this plot is over with, the better. Thankfully, Jonathan Frakes went on to MUCH bigger and better things.
  8. You made the right choice.
  9. Did you see his mugshot? What a scary looking guy he is.
  10. They should definitely write a book together about BTS at Passions. Of course, they'd have to have most of the cast remain nameless.
  11. Yes, Ed Sherin. He was a theatre and TV producer who may be best known for his work on the original L&O - where his clout apparently got his stepson and then his wife on the show in various capacities.
  12. Yes!! Another great fantasy was Ted, Wanda and TJ in a spoof of Saturday Night Fever:
  13. That's too funny. 😂
  14. I remember Maddie Corman all the way back to All-American Girl in 1994, where she played Margaret Cho's best friend. Has there been any comment from her mother-in-law, Jane Alexander (Tony winner, Emmy winner and Oscar nominee)?
  15. Watching some clips on YT makes me miss even more not just SB but the whimsy soaps used to have. Remember Wanda's (Ted's girlfriend) beach movie fantasy, also starring Julia?
  16. I still think TV One should do an Unsung Hollywood episode on Generations.
  17. Hence they introduced the New Orleans-based Sentell/Tourneur family to SFT, and of course one of the show's best known romances (Liza and Travis).
  18. That's awesome. I'll have to look for those scenes on YT.
  19. Wow! Thanks for the recap. I loved when even the minor characters were as fleshed out as this.
  20. May she RIP. Wasn't Rosa part of Lucinda's household staff?
  21. What a great pic. Do you know which year it was taken?
  22. Yup, I remember when those two were involved. I didn't know they were engaged, however.
