  1. One need look no further than her predecessor...(and she wouldn't have anyone even close to the caliber of Claire Labine on her writing team.)
  2. In January 1978, Melissa Sherman subbed for Jennifer Houlton (Greta Powers) on The Doctors for one episode.
  3. She is a soap opera producer I have long been curious about. I have not been able to find out much about her in Google searches. She was a female producer on a soap at a time when very few - if any - other women had the same position. Plus, she stayed on GL in that position for well over two decades. Was she forced to leave GL in the mid-70s or did she retire? I don't know what ever happened to her after she left GL.
  4. After the show went off the air, he became a business executive and lived in a place called Genoa City.
  5. I'm sure there will be. I know for sure that Jacqueline Courtney was in a couple of episodes.
  6. Starting June 1, FETV (Family Entertainment Television) will start rerunning Route 66. One of its stars from 1963-64 was the future Jason Aldrich - Glenn Corbett.
  7. Yes, that's where I read it.
  8. I would have loved to see Jacquie Courtney in those early days, especially pre-Steve. I read in a vintage magazine interview that she guested on Route 66 and had a huge crush on co-lead and a future NBC Daytime star himself, Glenn Corbett (Jason Aldrich, The Doctors).
  9. That's a great way to look at it.
  10. Wow, imagine if all the video had been saved as well.
  11. ^ I stand corrected. Thanks!
  12. ^ Sadly, I think most of them are gone forever.
  13. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
  14. I always thought that their predecessors, Kathryn Harrold and Antoinette Panneck, looked like real sisters as well.
  15. @DramatistDreamer, plus the fact that Rick still lists Lindsay as his wife on his social media - I guess we can safely assume they are still wed.
  16. Several actors from Saturday Night Fever were reunited at Chiller Con in NJ on April 27th. Several of them had memorable soap gigs - namely, Karen Gorney, Donna Pescow and Lisa Peluso.
  17. Well, then the Giolitos should look into who put online that Lindsay has been married to a Zach Ashby since 2013, and that she and Rick have been divorced since 2004. Yikes!
  18. I knew someone was going to make a series about this! Surprisingly, SVU has yet to tackle the subject - it would take place at doomed "Hudson University", no doubt.
  19. Awesome! This was Aunt Liz pre-Irene Dailey, right?
  20. Yup! Lindsay and Rick are now divorced, but share two sons - the aforementioned Lucas, and Casey.
  21. It's hard to judge by one episode, but I already miss Kathryn Harrold in the role. She made Nola feisty, strong, smart and fun. That's a tall order for any recast to follow.
