It seemed like when Miller first came on it was almost like they were trying to recapture the magic of Terry Lester. At least that’s what it seemed like to me. He did and does resemble him yet the writing was just so inconsistent at that point we never knew exactly who Billy Abbott was suppose to be other then the overgrown playboy.

That’s always my biggest complaint about Bill Bell. I guess he obviously wasn’t afraid of negative feedback from Viewers or the audience about the whole “time of day” thing but I just can’t help but me distracted from it. Especially since that’s actually one thing that’s maybe better on the current show. I just want to know what the scripts said to indicate the time? Did they just right down “we are ignoring the time it can be any day for the characters??” Haha

Even with Katherine and Lorie though, there was a scene in 1982 where Victor had a dinner at the ranch with Katherine,Nikki,Douglas and Lorie present….Lorie says to Katherine: “Mrs chancellor your probably don’t remember me, etc…” kind of odd she needed to say that if she Leslie and Kay were present to help Liz with her gown just a year earlier…

I wonder in retrospect if that was purposefully done, if Bill Bell knew the audiences must have been questioning those connections and he wanted to add the suspense of Nikki ever realizing they were all related? In 1980 Victor also seemed to befriend Casey before meeting Nikki yet a brief 1980 clip showed that Victor was aware Casey had a little sister named Nikki because as a kind gesture he gave Casey flowers to give to Nikki when she got into a car accident….yet a whole year later Victor meets stripper Nikki Reed without even mentioning that he was friendly with big sister Casey…like with the Brooks girls at the wedding Nikki didn’t even realize Victor and Casey knew each other till a couple days before her wedding.

I always thought that was very cool! Yet I’m just relieved in recent times they haven’t started calling the show “Liam” instead 😂😂

This is great news!! 😁😁 I would love the idea of Ashland being Brooks Prentis (although he might be a little too old??) to further tie Leslie back in the canvas, but it’s probably just gonna be her returning to perform at the wedding. i wonder if the show would reach out to Trish Stewart or Pam Peters to come back as Chris and Peggy, if neither actress has retired.

They had interaction in 1992/1993 but no so much after Taylor “died” and came back from the dead until 2002 when she shot her.

And sure enough Jackie and even Taylor Many years later made the same type of comment to Stephanie and each earned a good ole Slap! There was definitely SOMETHING beneath the surface with Stephanie all those years, and it's a shame Brad Bell is too much of a dud, that he could have explored something more with Stephanie's frigid behavior other then: "My father abused me" The one thing that I can't understand with Brad (and this was sort of alluded to the fact that it was up to the audience to decide whether he was really good or bad) Is how much later on, he seemed willing to side with Victor just to punish Jack. I get Victor made Brad his "liaison" when he took over Jabot in 1989, but it seemed like Brad was more then willing to allow the rest of the Abbotts to become collateral damage just because he hated Jack so much. Yet I'm watching 1986 scenes where he is telling Traci how much he owes her father for all he's done for him...yet why must he allow his hatred of Jack to decide whether or not Jabot should be return to John and the Abbotts??? (This is mainly in Summer 1993 when everyone thought Victor died and the battle over Newman Enterprises) He loved Traci and then Loved Ashley, yet that was never enough for him to not keep helping Victor screw Jack over, which screwed over John and Ashley who Brad claims to "love and care about" (though Ashley was on Brad's side during that whole NE debacle)

hmmm....I must've missed or didn't tape those episodes because I always thought Ingle came on right after Clarke retired?? RIP to him though! Oyy.... Why doesn't that surprise me.....😲 Pretty much Days and Passions 2004-2006 (when JER wrote both shows) was about upstaging the other on who can be the most ridiculous and OTT for their respected hours....I swear if we had an episode where Kate Slapped or had an altercation with Sami, we more then likely had Gwen kicking the S*it out of Theresa for finding her in bed with a shirtless comatose Ethan (LMAO...It's pretty hilarious thinking about that now actually) during that same day 🤣
