Honestly I think I’ll always have this resentful chip on my shoulder in regards to Nick and Sharon eating the show. There’s been way too much negativity and propped agendas with them. I’m not saying it’s always Morrow and Cases fault (though I’m beyond fed up of Morrows laziness) but I just wish the show would finally put both characters to rest.

Haha yeah she’s come a long ways but Sharon’s screams at seeing Nick all bloody just come off way too cheesy...

Even after Victor takes Jabot, Terry's Jack during those last few months, doesn't even seem all that phased. He treats it all like a minor annoyance, and doesn't seem too worried about whatever else Victor had in store (namely hiring Brad as his right hand)

I just think that if Lester stayed, it would have been a more equal rivalry with Victor and Jack.

Maybe this is me getting worried we are making him out not to be as great of a writer as he really was, but can someone confirm if Agnes Nixon or even Irna Phillips had annoying quirks in their writing too that would make the fans crazy?.did Agnes ever retcon older stories for her newer audience?

Michael DID interact with Sheila briefly in February 1992 when Cricket introduced them, when Sheila had stopped by inviting her and Danny over for dinner. the Michael/Sheila bit doesn’t bother me that much because I honestly think he was way too preoccupied with Cricket to even remember Sheila was once her sister-in-law.

I can’t help but think he would have gotten a lot of flack from Daytime Confidential too if they were around back then.

I’d like to know what was going though Bill Bells head with these Retcons. I just think it’s weird neither Alden, Smith or anyone on the writing staff would remind him: “wait, these characters did meet before, etc..” it’s so lazy, unless Bell felt those early 80s stories with Eve, Patty etc.. weren’t his best and he felt the need to “reset” the prior history. It’s a bit of an insult to the audience who had watched for 10-20 years at that point and did see all those stories play out. I once heard Bell assumed viewers wouldn’t remember those stories or characters. Again kind of insulting the viewers intelligence.

I'm always gonna be a Sheila fan no matter what, and while I hate how she was wasted last time she returned, maybe...just maybe...Bradley will finally get it right....but I'm not getting my hopes up. It's definitely been long overdue to allow Sheila to be totally "redeemed" of her crimes and allow to remain a vital part of B&B Like Victor, Michael and Phyllis have on Y&R.
