  1. This show's BTS have gotten ridiculous! Any person in there right mind would fire these people on the spot!
  2. It's so crazy to think it's been so long since we've last scene the athletic club. I didn't even like that set really, but It's still weird they can't use it anymore. I'm shocked they still use the Abbott House Set. It's probably the least tampered with at this point. I hate to say this, because I know it's an iconic set for a lot of people but I wouldn't be too sad if they lost the Crimson Lights set. Random question, but I was just thinking when was the last time they used the Abbott's Kitchen set? I know probably not since the 90's, but did it ever pop up again over the last 20 or 15 years? The Newly remodeled Jabot Lab too I think?
  3. Thanks! That definitely explains the timeline a little better. Too bad most of the German closings are edited out, but at least we have some idea of the months Kenny/Scott started. I guess Bill Bell had to devote time to B&Bs first 6 months before becoming Senior EP of Y&R.
  4. What about Victoria Rowell? Granted I’ve tuned into this show sporadically but I think she would be a good fit for the show!
  5. Sorry if this was mentioned by anyone, but by going through the closing credits of the 1986-1987 German episodes was anyone able to get the exact dates that Wes Kenney was last credited as EP and Ed Scott became EP. something i didn’t realize was that Bill Bell was actually the sole EP for Most of 1987 and based on the little full credits that are available Ed Scott actually became EP around October/November 1987. I’d love to know when the exact dates were though.
  6. I feel like this is going to be Ian Ward all over again...
  7. I have to go with the ABC soaps! I truly appreciate and have a lot of respect that they molded daytime to what it is, and got the most publicly out of the three networks. (Mainly because of Susan Lucci, and Luke and Laura etc..) but for as many times I’ve sampled episodes here and there I just can’t get into them like anything on CBS or even Days. I still respect how groundbreaking they were though!
  8. Hey guys! Here's some more 1995 episodes I just got! Bit of a weird situation this time around with these latest DVDs I got, but I'm trying to work around it.
  9. I've noticed in the vault episodes that were removed from youtube surfacing! from 1992-1994. The Quality and sound are low though because this was the person who recorded from their tv.
  10. Thanks! Even though I’m cringing if those are the ones with Morrows horrible dance moves...
  11. It would have been funny since they had Bill call Jack: “Jack Rabbit” that Jack slipped in one of his old nicknames for Brad to Bill (Bradski, Junior, Golden Boy) and then Jack could have said: “oh sorry u just remind me of my former brother - in law I couldn’t stand!”
  12. The whole time I was thinking it was Brad with Lauren and Jack.
  13. Stumbled upon this recent Tonya Lee Williams Interview. Very insightful, and she gets pretty candid about the issues the show had around the time she left. (and most likely isn't that anxious to return unfortunately)
  14. They aired two episodes ahead (on Global) so there won’t be a NEW episode till tomorrow’s show (again on global)
  15. I always have to agree that anything post 2003 was when the show really started to tank...even though I almost want to say like Y&R maybe after 2005ish even. 1989-1995 are probably the best years for me, but overall 1987-2002 the show was solid.
  16. Thanks for the confirmation! I figured they weren't all Winter Olympics but just knew those dates has preemptions.
  17. I know of these 4 dates that CBS didn't air soaps for the Winter Oympics! 2/20/89 2/17/92 2/21/94 2/16/98 I hope that helps!
  18. I remember hearing that. I think Shemar's growing popularity, played a factor as to why Bill Bell just dropped any mention of the "rape" whatsoever....It's just a shame Nathan went under the bus to make Malcolm popular. I forget if Neil even realized Lily isn't his daughter? LOL
  19. So bizarre and the fact that they decided to basically ignore the plot all together with Dru later "forgiving" Malcolm, without further mention of what happen, and only years later decided to revisit the story by retconning Lily's paternity.
  20. That’s right! We do get the infamous cold medicine scene on 8/3/94! What the hell was Malcolm thinking coming on to Dru anyways when she was sick?!?
