  1. Partial Episode of 12/9/94. I think this maybe in the vault, but it's the CBS version https://archive.org/details/capture-a-3227
  2. Right now it's so infuriating to me that a show with the word "YOUNG" in it, has such a lack of any teen stories whatsoever. Regardless of how Days and GH handle their younger set/Teen stories at least they have them now, and Y&R doesn't bother.
  3. It's funny how people have different perspectives of what the "good old days" are for this show. I remember one comment from the Google Groups (I think this one in the 1990 posts) saying that it took them "years" to really get into Y&R because in the 70's it was mostly "background music and Pretty faces, with nothing more to offer"...Those might not be the exact words, but close to it. I do think Youtube over the years has made people hungry for most of the classics of any show because prior to 2005/2006 (whenever YT really set off) I don't think there was a lot of ways to watch old clips or episodes of soaps (besides WOST I guess). I can see people back in 2005 probably thinking the early Nick and Sharon stuff was "too recent" to think of as classic, until watching old clips on YT and realizing how better it really was.
  4. I bet people in 1993-1994 were probably missing 1978-1979 (If we are going back 15 years) and considering them more classic years. What's funny is that while I want to see more 1994, I can see why people back then would probably be turned off because of the whole Nick/Sharon/Amy/Matt thing dominating and taking over the show, yet now we realize how good we had it back then, even if we didn't always like what was on screen. I guess that can be said for most of Late 1994-1997 Y&R anyways.
  5. I can’t stop thinking if this were Passions they’d drag the hell out of Steffy walking in on Sheila holding Hayes. Lol
  6. I agree to all of that! maybe instead of doing the cliffhanger with Sheila's reveal the way they did...they could have had Finn finally convince her to give out her number to hear her voice, which is when the camera along with the signature evil music swell up for Sheila's reveal...haha
  7. Hmm..I totally missed that. So I guess it's possible it did air Monday Jan 23 and not Tuesday....It definitely said Y&R was preempted on 1/23/95 though right? I guess B&B could have aired Wed-Fri (1/25-1/27/95)
  8. It's so stupid to ask, but why couldn't we just have had Finn and Sheila communicating for months, before it being revealed to everyone she's Finn's birthmom....We could have had Sheila blackmail Jack and allow access to BabyHayes with Finn's permission while avoiding Steffy at all costs.....Maybe in the meantime Sheila somehow gets back on good terms with Brooke, which ultimately leads to Brooke having to keep Sheila's secrets?? Maybe Justin becomes intrigued by Sheila himself and they becomes allies seeking revenge?
  9. This is amazing! So far everything looks great! I'll definitely look into seeing if anything needs to be edited, but it looks great! EDIT: Skimming through 1995. I have B&B as having aired Episodes on Tues-Thurs Jan 24-26, but preempted Mon Jan 23 and Fri Jan 27. and also Preempted on Jan 30. I also believe September 19, 1995 was preempted. Could be 9/20/95 though? I also have those Same Iran/Contra 1987 dates for Y&R so those are most likely correct!
  10. We don't even know Jack and Li that well for them to be thrown into any story......While I always enjoy seeing Sheila, unfortunately I'm getting some Y&R 2005 vibes where KB is getting thrown into story with a bunch of newbies while basically lurking in the shadows...
  11. I was thinking that too…isn’t that Tom and Alice’s song that Doug always sang? Lol Despite everything that felt like a classic soap moment IMO.
  12. If anything the story showcased how talented Tonya Lee Williams was! Her work was so overlooked for an Emmy that year.
  13. I doubt it…unless one of the writers randomly stumbled upon one of the 1986 scenes with Jill and Sven…I feel those stupid scenes had Morrows handiwork all over it…
  14. Keeping you in my prayers!! Take all the time you need l!! 🙏🙏🙏
  15. Very sad news! 😥 Sending my thoughts and prayers to Jess and her family!
  16. Agreed!! its exciting but I feel like with the episodes in the vault now at 1992 we were already getting all the B&B classics
  17. That was fabulous!! Sheila finally got one over on Stephanie! 😂😂😂 I hope we get scenes of her talking to her portrait and taunting her!
  18. Funny enough it used to be that way a lot when Bill Bell wrote, where characters would should up sometimes halfway or close to the end of the episode you didn’t expect to see. I kind of like they have brought some of them technique back but I agree its more shoehorned compared to the past.
  19. Well I choose to believe they don’t lol, but I just dont think they were really Sheila’s kids, and obviously Brad Bell is ignoring what Happen on Y&R like Pheila and Sarah/Daisy/Ryder
  20. That was just a mess created by Maria HELL.
  21. No, that's why I'd be greatly impressed if he actually wrote that...LOL
  22. I would be ASTONISHED if they actually went that route!
  23. I can’t say that I’m not excited because I’d be lying! 😄 but knowing Thudley the story is already as bad as the last return, which was promising but became all about the portraits again…
