I don’t even watch GH and yet knowing SB is out again seems to lift a ginormous weight off of everything.

Yeah that's what I was trying to say, Bill was doing the daily grind with both Y&R and B&B, yet I always get the impression that Agnes was more behind the scenes, and just guided the writers of AMC so they could try to maintain her vision etc... It seemed like Bill was in that studio everyday with his writers trying to make the best show possible.

I wonder if Bill Bell should have taken more of an Agnes Nixon approach to his writing duties those later years…I know Bell was very hands on with Y&R from its conception (as well as B&B until he handed the reigns to Bradley) but it seems like he could have given himself more of an “executive HW/Consultant” position like Agnes had during the 80s/90s with AMC. I might have the facts wrong but even going way back it seemed like Agnes never had onscreen credit for writing AMC/OLTL those earlier days and most of the writers listed were her co-writers and associate writers etc…

Cricket is probably the most surprising to me too, considering she’s Bill Bells daughter you’d figure he would have jumped at the chance to write in as many pregnancies as he could for her.

Poor Jess, She's dealt with a lot with losing her husband and now TV husband.

I can't believe I haven't seen this before....my heart is breaking even more for his Co-Stars! He still had the twinkle in his eyes till the end though.

I always loved John being one of Dru's biggest supporters when she first came on the show. He had such a warmness with VR here!

He had such a warm presence, and was always so believable in any scenes he shared with his onscreen family. He was definitely one of the true Moral Centers of the show!

I always Have to ask how old is he? Looks like late 30s/ or 40?

I wonder if maybe they are going by the script # Pages? Hopefully they correct themselves. I personally have said before that I think these are the following dates that Iran/Contra preempted both Y&R and B&B in Summer 1987 (not sure about ATWT and GL) July 7,8,9,10,13,14,15,23,24. 1987 then of course September 7 and 11 1987 were preempted for Tennis and November 26/27, 1987 for Thanksgiving and December 25, 1987 for Christmas.

November 26, 1991 marks 30 years (On and Off) for CLB
