  1. Nooo!!! 😢😢😢 this is hitting me hard!!! 99 is an amazing life! But why?? Just shy a few weeks of her 100th??? RIP sweet Betty!
  2. Well true...but her comments kept me curious? Who the hell was she I wonder...I swear she worked on the show or was either Victoria Rowell herself.
  3. LOL....Yikes It's so crazy how that was almost 12 years ago now!....I think I had just joined SON around that time....So many fun comments to look back on though from 2010-2012.... It's a shame Deeedee decided to stop posting because they were hysterical with some of their quotes ("TO THE LAKE!!") Her inside knowledge of BTS Y&R stuff was quite insightful too. Another thing I almost forgot about was Jeanne Cooper had apparently actually voiced her displeasure to MAB for the writing for Katherine circa 2010/2011. I think she actually told her that if she wanted "Someone else to sit and wear a blonde wig and serve pudding" she better find someone else, because she wouldn't have any of that! I guess she wasn't happy with Katherine all of a sudden being the "saint" who offered advice to everyone. I guess Jeanne regretting saying that though, because she did an interview backtracking what she said. Given we almost lost Eric Braeden, and MTS and Jess Walton were absent for months all under Maria, I guess she feared for her job.
  4. Really?? I knew he didn’t appear that much under MAB (remember her infamous, “we’re gonna get that black story Up and Pumping”!! Quote.) but I didn’t realize he was only on those many times. His screen time got progressively more after 2012 especially once Hilary arrived.
  5. @yrfan1983 @soapfan770 Honestly, while I have a better understanding and knowledge of all that went down in 2003, It's kind of like what I said about the 70's and 80's where I'm just going by reading up on what happen, and the samples of full episodes or clips I've seen, Also how most people say this was the final year the show truly felt like Y&R (though to me that ends at 2005). A lot of what @soapfan770 said I do agree with, and obviously the good outweighs the bad like Jill/Katherine as mother/daughter, Losing Gina's and Heather Tom's leaving.....I guess I would also add the Foster family reunion with the original actors (SANS Jill) and other returns like Andy, Matt (even if they didn't amount to anything) are what also made the year stick out. of course I gotta add the show putting Victor through some misery that he definitely had coming for a few years, is what made it all enjoyable. 2003 was probably the most he had been slapped or punched onscreen!
  6. I’ve chosen my top 2 years by decade. Granted most the 70s is mostly by the few episodes that surfaced or from summaries I’ve read for those years (same with some of the 80s) 70s: 1975, 1979 80s: 1984, 1989 90s: 1991, 1993 00s: 2001, 2003 i can’t and won’t name any of the 2010s because most of those years were awful! 😂😂 even if I found some enjoyable things from those years tbh.
  7. I’d say a good amount of 1992-1993 could have surpassed Y&R for #1. The Sheila/Lauren dream sequence got the show to #2 in the fall of 1992 and the show has pretty much stayed there.
  8. I’ve wondered this before but are the Days of Victoria Rowell pulling double duty on Y&R still as a contract player and Diagnosis Murder, a thing of the past? I would just allow Lamon to do both while still being a contract player on Days unless it’s all his choice because He wants to devote more time on All-American.
  9. KB was amazing during that final scene!! We don’t get to see that side of her acting as Sheila a lot but she definitely can pull off the vulnerable nuanced stuff as well as the crazy. Ridge really should have no room to judge Deacon now that Taylor invited Sheila over….but him being the hypocrite he is probably will think it was admirable of her, while continuing to trash Brooke and Hope trying to have a relationship with Deacon.
  10. Passions: December 2000 when Ethan Proposed to Theresa and Sheridan reunited with Luis after she was buried alive…I did enjoy the first 3-4 years of Passions very much but in a “perfect” , happily ever after world in Passions I think those moments would have been good book ends. B&B: The end of 2002 when Macy reunited with Thorne after being “dead” for two years. I do consider that to be the end of B&Bs 1987-2002 glory years anyways. Y&R: hmmm…maybe the end of 2002 as well? I wanted to think maybe the end of 2005 right before the whole Sheila/Tom ending but I would have done without Katherine and Jill being mother/Daughter and Heather Tom leaving…
  11. If only he really did kill him 35 years ago…😂😂
  12. The thing is Bill Sr would be considered the good guy nowadays because Ridge was and always has been an ass!
  13. Jessica was always kind of a non character anyways, so maybe the unpleasantness stems from not having much to do compared to her older co stars?
  14. Yes, and he also referred to Katherine as Chance's "Grandmother", which I guess would be a misconception to a lot of people.
  15. I don’t think EB cares at this point that he doesn’t say his lines right, or mis pronounces names.
  16. So no scenes of Brooke rightfully blasting Taylor for all her son has done to Hope....🙄 Or is Taylor now gonna be just as crazy?? (Not that she wasn't already)

  19. Jill did declare herself as the matriarch of the Chancellor family in today's show!
  20. It looks like whoever made the captions just wrote that in. It doesn't look like he actually said it.
  21. So we've all seen the famous lab fight between Lauren and Sheila, but I don't think we've seen any of the aftermath till now!
  22. So sad! I also watched Tick Tick…Boom a few days ago too, and had the same thought!
  23. To play a role for that long is always an accomplishment so I always enjoy these interview!
