I believe the hook for BELOW DECK DOWN UNDER this year is that the leads are all vets from other franchises (flagship BELOW DECK, BELOW DECK SAILING YACHT which is the only main one I used to watch, and BELOW DECK MED) so if that is the bosun, he's a jerk, but he's one trying to change himself, which I respect. However, he used to be such a jerk so nope. lol.

I understand. When I do have time these days...which is decreasing...I'm usually over on BTG or Housewives. Still good to see you on an actual off day all the same. But entering my work busy season means it's about to get crazy.

11-25 OMG REALLY!!!??? I was intrigued by the mystery of who texted Electra. Only for it to be taken away the VERY NEXT episode. I know I should have known they would not build the mystery of it all, but DAYYYYYYYUMMMMMMMMMMM. smh. I kinda enjoyed the fallout from Luna's death though. Sidenote...Bill looked good in them sweats.

RHOP I know, I know. I've gotten way behind...okay...not too much on RHOP vs RHOM (still need to finish the reunion)/SLC (they are already midseason and I'm back on Episode...3?/OC (don't get me started). lol. But I have wiggle room, and I wanted to do something other than either life stuff, writing stuff, and being idle so here goes. I loved the first trip of the season. And that's where I'm starting from with this. It was a really good trip. It consistently started with light fun, crazy mess, fun shade, and left me thinking of how this group will jell moving forward into the season. And they were GIVING. Even the buzzkills. Yes, I said it. Jassi...who I like...was being too performative and killing the vibe. Keiarna was also being annoying, but I can't say she wasn't working...and I will praise the fact that knowing she was losing in her attempted attack on Gizelle, she performed a pivot onto Wendy (who was on READY). Well-played on her part. Then you have Angel with her drama from 10 years ago and getting in her feels even though the very people who had been picking on her for EPISODES actually had her back in that moment of finding out like a real sisterhood and she REFUSED THE SUPPORT??? It's a shock that the trip turned out as well as it did. GIZELLE. I feel like it's going to be another good season for her. She has been on point with her rivalry with Stacey, staying on her neck (and Stacey is staying on hers, too) while giving shady good Confessionals. Meanwhile, her vs Keiarna was unexpected, but I loved how she handled her. Usually, it's other people handling her, so a nice change of pace. How she trumped her was masterfully cuz who is going to get one over on someone whom parent died. Especially vs a brawl? NOPE. And of course, Gizelle being messy by bringing up what Keiarna said about Wendy with Wendy in front of them was to be expected. Stay messy. WENDY. And speaking of messy...YEP. Her telling off on Keiarna about what she said about Gizelle was just that. And I loved she was on ready when Keiarna thought she was going to come for her. NOPE...lol. Meanwhile, I agree with Wendy in regards to Angel. While I don't like how Gizelle and she have been hazing Angel, Angel does need to have thick skin in this group. Look at how Tia and Stacey are being. Just saying. ASHLEY. And not to be out of the mess (Producer Cam, anyone?), there was Ashley being messy with her trying to get that Stacey/Chris Samuels stuff out there by talking to Stacey. As a good counterpoint, I do love that she's still with Josh. STACEY. Still winning. Still rising. And I hollered at her costume for the bachelorette party. And she is matching Gizelle lick for lick in their rivalry from shady moments to shady Confessionals. KEIARNA. I found her good this episode. She's been making so many mistakes her second season. BUT I do find myself entertained. And she is moving so much better than her friend is. I gotta give credit for seeing that she was failing in attacking Gizelle (which outside of Stacey NO ONE is doing), she did a Housewife pivot. Did it fail? Yep. But...she tried. And speaking of friends, I liked she was actually there for Angel's breakdown like a real friend. TIA. Doing everything right as a newbie Housewife. And her vs Jassi was hilarious. She got Jassi without breaking a sweat. And then she was Cynthia-Lite, being a peacemaker between feuding Housewives. And...she has a good sense of humor. WINNING. ANGEL. As a counterpoint...doing everything wrong as a newbie Housewife. There was a moment for her to be vulnerable and be allowed into the circle truly with her talking about the tea Jassi had and her issues from a decade ago...and she closed all the way off. While I understand completely...those women have been hazing her for episodes now...this could have been a good turning point so they would leave her alone. I felt it was a wrong move. Later on...I'll talk about the Monique episode. :)

Oooo it was true! lol. That said...Wow. So soon? Especially with some of the other casting news not having occurred on screen for another few months? Wow. And short-term? Hmmmm mixed feelings. But hopefully, he will be back.

I remember the transition to college being a good one even through the silliness of everyone winding up in the same town. I used to go back to rewatch Season 5 (same for ONE TREE HILL SEASON 4) often. (currently at Episode 2 heehee). For obvious reasons, I skip over Episode 4. And same on Jen/Dawson 2.0. I understood, but still remember being irked at it...lol. I think I would take to it differently now. Michelle Williams is LOVE.

I don't know. June kept it moving, but she checked her rightfully cuz SPS might be cray cray, but June been out on them streets and CAN get to her level if she needed to.

11-19 Well, leaving November and giving credit where it's due... I LOVE how this Rocco storyline has brought all the major characters together. I was shocked to see Alexis, Dante, Lulu, Sonny, AND Ric all in the same room dealing with the drama with Rocco. But I loved the stuff going on with Danny and Charlotte (SIDENOTE: loving the recast) at the police station, too, that brought in Jason, Nathan, Alexis, and Lulu. I've been saying I love how everything appears to be a big umbrella tale, and here we are. I even liked the little scene between Jason and Britt...which worked because it was more how they should be without slapstickyness. The continuing circling of Portia has been great to watch. Curtis clueing her in about Stella while the walls are slowing closing in on her. Just soapy. I liked the Alexis/Ric scenes though I am wondering if this is foreshadowing Brad's return. YES!!! to Drew vs Laura. Drew was not at all wrong re: Sonny, but it was still a great set of scenes all the same. And Jordan's little look at Drew when Laura won the Mayorship again was delicious! Hopefully, going forward...she will get used. Perhaps with Erza...just saying... And that ending!!! Unexpected. And you know what? I liked that, too. I begrudgingly have said it already, but I will say it again, Sidwell has grown on me in spite of myself. But I am a sucker for a man in a suit so not surprisingly. And closing out that part of the tale (Dalton) opens up the other story angles in that tale. Which speaking of which...so Sidwell and the 'mystery man' are responsible for Britt's faked death after all. Hmmm.

Well that would be the past for you. I would gladly take it back versus what is currently on screen.

I would be one of them. And I didn't even think I would like a recast for Bianca. Love her. YES!!!! I'm still to this day livid about him being replaced. Same. Yep. +1

I would agree with Billy Miller as Billy as well. I was annoyed at first cuz I am a David Tom fan (still am) and Billy and Mac was the teen couple that made me fall in love with Y&R as a teen myself. But BM won me completely over.

Happy Thanksgiving @Maxim !!! I think for me though I'm not completely done with my binging due to work, I would honestly have to go with BTG B Enjoyable, but sadly lost momentum midmonth by pushing Winterfest back to December. BOLD C Honestly? Also enjoyable but it's usually fluff for me. The show did a pivot by focusing mostly on the Spencers and I felt it was a breath of fresh air. I like Taylor/Deacon/Sheila. And I'm in the minority with all things Daphne. BUT it was all dragged down by the Luna storyline so grade drop. GH A- Also honestly? Bingeable enjoyable. lol. The minus honestly is that I have always hated the writers' writing tics, but I also give credit where it's due. I really like that there are several storylines in play and that the writers in their second year have done a great job of shifting between them without losing momentum for the most part. At times, it feels like the whole show is a giant umbrella tale, where each tale blends into the other so when something happens...and something was always happening...it DOES effect the other several stories in play...and the ones currently on backburner, too. Well-done. Y&R D Outside of Billy Flynn in his undies (WOOF) and the Danny/Christine wedding, was anything going on? Well anything I care about? It should say something that I couldn't even sit through the latest Back From the Dead storyline because it is too far-fetched from what I saw LIVE when I was younger. And Y&R WAS the realistic soap. So it only has the D for the wedding. More than likely once I peek in on Ashley's return...it's back to not watching. I can't. Sorry, Josh Morrow. DAYS -- I hear the anniversary episodes were great. I still need to watch.
