I feel it could benefit from a focus on one of their three A stories or a solid B plot. But right before the turnover from Guza to Thomson, outside of all things Dani...there's nothing too A story-ish going on. Still entertaining for me, but it's noticeable that there is not a main story with other B/C stories going on. It's just...a bunch of stories going on. I do hope the build to Winterfest and us actually seeing it THIS month will get things moving again. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

GET THAT HEFFA, NOSY NURSE!!! I'm sorry to see Smitty and June coming to a middle ground. It seem like that tension would be between them for at least one more story arc. A writing change? I'm sorry but I love the teen unit of Ty, Samantha, and Jessica (and Rocco, Danny, Charlotte over on GH which is what today is reminding me of). I'm a sucker for soap teens. lol.

Some of Daniel Goddard's best moments on Y&R was when the writers would make Cane a prick...especially vs Victoria who could have had a hate sex thing a la Drew/Nina themselves. But Daniel Goddard had to whine.

Very much Wendy Season 6...ironically Wendy's second season where I called her Too Much Wendy. Keiarna is following in those footsteps and while it taints her, I can't say she is not having drama with everyone. She's putting up more of a fight than her friend.

11-13 A few stray thoughts... I know I didn't like this episode too much the first two times around because what was the point of these Dani/Andre scenes. And it still really doesn't work. Then I thought about what I said earlier about the story change direction for Derek. I hope this is not the way of trying to explain away Andre's fear of being in front of the camera. Ted still ain't s@#%. It was nice to see all four of our mains (Anita, Vernon, Nicole, Dani), but I have to admit that I felt a way that the only one who has what appears to be an actual frontburner story at the moment is Dani. I want more.

And if they are going to try...Hottie Sonny can stay gone.

Yeah, the Dimeras to me are what the Cassadines are to GH. That gothic clan that should always be powerful or have some edge to them. However, that kinda of clan does not seem to be sustainable. At least not without either good writing or without a constant writing regime change.
