POTOMAC In a word...low key. After the heady heights of last week's fabulous hot mess episode (thank you, Hurricane Ash), it was going to suffer from the abrupt chance in vibe. Still it was a nice coda to the near end of the first cast trip. And goodness knows we know more drama is coming. But overall it was a kiki for me. Though those battle lines are clearly drawned. GEB vs La Dame/Mia/Wendy and Ashley vs Candiace was a subfeud...I mean in the middle. lol. LA DAME. NOW KAREN!!!!! REALLY!!!! Same. I'm not going to lie. I HOLLERED!!!! And like Wendy I would have side-eyed her, too. But darn if it was not funny. Shady AF, but funny. But La Dame brought a lot of funny. And I loved that her and Gizelle shaded each other without batting an eye during the dance competition. It would have been weird IF they did not to be honest. A real sign of a real friendship when one tease the other. GIZELLE. I'm sorry, but I feel differently. As soon as she made the braids comment, Wendy was not going to take her seriously. Why? Because Gizelle could have said the same thing without a HINT of attitude. No one wants to have attitude thrown at them. More than likely she will get it back. All attitude shows is that one does not care so why should Wendy care back? But given the amount of customer service I have to deal with, if I am being polite to help you, there is no need to act with a funk with me. Nor should you be surprised when you get back what you give out. If you catch my drift. ROBYN. Sorry. Wrong or not, Robyn was just looking for a moment. I know she does not get a lot of them (c)LA DAME, but she can figure something out. Love Drunk Robyn mind you, but that call to Juan who was paying her no mind just shows the disconnect between them to me. Points for being direct to Wendy, but again, that probably was a talk for one on one given that she felt it was so abruptly thrown at her by Wendy and she was truly hurt. CANDIACE. Really for the video if I'm honest. She was a good host for the most part. And you can tell she is balancing that line between Wendy's friend and being in with the GEB. ASHLEY. After last week's messiness, it was funny how irrelevant she was this week. But again...low key. WENDY. Sorry again. I thought Wendy's tears were genuine. And she does get the right to be in her feelings. If she wants to talk to Gizelle, she will when she is good and ready. It does not look like it will get any better given that After Show clip I posted, but at least they came together when they laughed at Mia's poor pot stirring. Now her vs Robyn...dare I say it...that actually might be a better feud in the making. Robyn seem genuinely hurt that she would bring it up. And now would be great time to remind Robyn that she is Gizelle's shadow and jumps in waaaay tooo much for her as Askale said. And that makes you a target when you jump in when you should not, good friend or not. So association beef indeed. MIA. Still has a LOT to learn, but at least she's with the winning team. And as Liberty said, she is most enjoyable with her kids. I do find her uneven at this point in the season, but enjoyable. I'm just ready for the salad toss. lol. Easy. Breezy. As I like my Potomac episodes...

8-20 THIS BITCA. But I have to say see how good Generation Next is with Spencer back...they are finally bringing in new teens. And while I don't like that looks-while she favors Nelle, I do like that we now have a bad girl in the teen set. And I thought the actress was great, already giving me love to hate vibes and her and Trina already don't like each other. And as a fan, I hated she interrupted the near kiss between Trina and Spencer. And they now have ANOTHER layer of drama to deal with. Who needs Joss and a triangle? Speaking of bitcas...ENOUGH. This was the first time I found Ava whiny over this stalker stuff? I need Ava to show off her claws again. Because I just don't see Ava being kept away from her daugther without bringing on the pay back? Where is my mob moll who can scheme with the best of them and still land on her feet? I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I love seeing all the nurses hanging out. And I do mean ALL of them. I hope for more that. Welcome back Epiphany, Amy!!! Ah! Thank you for jogging my memory. I do vaguely remember that actually. Still... Yeah, her personality aside, it does not at all bleed over to Alexis surprisingly for me who I've always liked and I liked how they are slooooowly redeeming her character from the black hole they put the character in for soooo long. And I loved her getting into it with Harmony the other day. Sometimes people forget Alexis has claws, too. And it was nice to see that side of her again.

POTOMAC Well, it's clear who's side Candiace is on. And what did Wendy do to her face? That said...oOOPS. RHOA And just like that...next season has a fun storyline. And speaking of Kenya...this never gets old. lol.

See? People have mentioned he had some NLG drama, but it went over my head so I don't know what he did. Nor do I any desire to go and see it. If it comes up, it comes up. From what I have seem, he's been humbled and not out here being obnoxious like Ingo currently has been doing. And that I can respect since it does not color me watching the show...something I cannot say for Ingo right now. I do not dislike NLG at all, but she is no saint either. And while she's done a lot of great things over the last few years from speaking up now about vax at work to her putting out facts in terms of politics and our former president, I also remember her getting well deserved backlash from her live tweets during Viola Davis's winning her well deserved award. Sometimes one should not drink and tweet. We all can make mistakes or be just stupid. Totally agree. While not Y&R, GH DEFINITELY could use a lot less a-holes. THIS.

Yes, them cutting that makes Erika look so much worse. And I'm not surprised that Sutton would give a loan given so far this season she was acting like BFF to Erika. Holding her hand. Giving her a spa day. Doing things to cheer her up on the divorce. And I hate to say it...but yes, BH feels like it's gotten back to what made it fun in the first place. Yes, I felt the same about the Kyle/Kathy talk. And I'm glad they got into it. I realize so much being talked about in terms of tension about how Kathy and Kim were mad at her for it. So good to see it talked about. EXACTLY!!! That was why I pointed out how all the Coven members BUT Dorit was telling Garcelle to sit down. It was like they were trying to make Garcelle appear to the viewing public like the 'Angry Black Woman' persona. Garcelle is very well aware of this which is why she is conscious of how she looks on screen. And I do feel they were trying to push her that way which left a sour taste in my mouth.

IKR. I felt like that was nothing but a big tease with no follow up. I was just coming over here to say that. I do find that since he came back from Y&R that SBu was been greatly humbled. And quite professional versus all the stories I've heard about him being an a-hole, selling that juice, and rubbing all the wrong people the wrong way. He seems more likeable and more likely to have a sense of humor now.

Now, now, there are no Gizelle wars. However there are people with different opinions to what has been shown and backed in many ways. So let's try to keep the peace away from backhanded comments. And while Wendy is reacting in a 'where there is smoke, there is fire' way perhaps, she was not the one trying to get it on camera.

Who usually gets a line or two...up to five...and pops up randomly thus the phrase Under Five. But I know my humor can go over people's head. Still love you. But seriously...she does not pop up enough for me to remember if she has a name so happy that she does. I am VERY happy to see her out and about with the other nurse. I would love to see more of her since she definitely has more presence than to be just sitting there. I want backstory. I was also happy to see Amy and hope the actress is up for more...and bring her foine brother Chet with her. Same.

Not literally. By in her face, I meant facing her versus what Dorit was accusing her of which was running. I agree she was more angry and hurt than aggressive. But I know how it looks when someone is standing over someone a la Porsha vs Cynthia on the boat RHOA S8. And that was just between two black women, one of whom has a history of attacking people. I can only imagine how the optics look to the Coven.

As much as she has me heated, I have to be fair and say I think Dorit was the only Coven member that didn't tell Garcelle to sit down. Too busy being shocked that Garcelle got up in that face I suspect.

BH And the divide...WIDENS. Not surprised really. After Team Real came in and started asking the real questions, of course the Coven would be wanting the payback and being petty. And sadly last week after the Coven threw Sutton under the bus last week, none of the real life stuff with those cowards (outside of the Kathy/Kyle scene) ring anything but hollow. When someone shows you who they are, BELIEVE THEM. Sad, but true. What is also true? Dorit is dead to me. Again, I guess I should not be surprised. She has been back and forth and blowing wherever the wind went. And after playing with the right team last season, it was a matter of time before she fell again. But THIS? How dare she!!! A person cannot sit there and accuse someone of something she herself was doing. And the micro-aggressions? Read the room, Boo. I guess she's in good company since Erika cannot read a room either. When all of your friends admit to consulting with lawyers and you pick on the one who actually was willing to give you a loan per Never Before Seen Scene on a special episode of BH, one shows their hand too easily. It was interesting that she was in a meeting ON CAMERA with Kyle and Ex Soap Opera Star and they tried to get back the narrative Garcelle and Sutton successfully snatched away from them last week with Erika trying to spin (and failed) to tell another lie story. And next week...DINNER PARTY FROM HELL PART 2. They better show EVERYTHING if they are using that as the title for next week. KYLE. I think out of everyone in that Coven, she came out pretty well this week. I admit that I've had my own thoughts about AMERICAN WOMAN and was proud she was actually trying to build a brand even if it put her in conflict with her sisters. And with Kathy on this season and knowing how she felt about the show, it was good to see them finally talk about it. If only Kim had been there. For once I saw what Andy was talking about with the sister dynamic, and I found myself thinking about what if all three sisters had started at the same time on the show. It was eye opening and intriguing for sure. We did see Producer Kyle in that scene with her, ErikFAKE, and Ex Soap Opera Star. But the one I REALLY love...was Kyle pulling an Ashley/Candiace Episode 2 Combo at Garcelle vs Dorit. Her looks were giving me life, girl!!!! LOL!!!! Because you knew she wanted to use the opportunity to throw Garcelle over the bus, but her dislike of Dorit was more than her need to do that (and the fact she knew how she would look after last season if she did) and she was loving every minute of Garcelle telling Dorit about herself. I was right there with her. EX SOAP OPERA STAR. I hope it's true she is about to be subpoenaed. That said...she showed her hand last week so those house scenes feel like an act. And when the best thing, outside of if I remember those dresses, is your daughter's boyfriend...yeah, epic fail. Not helped by helping ErikFAKE with her fake a$$ narrative. At least she kept her big lips shut. DORIT. HOW DARE YOU!!!! As a black man, I found that extremely triggering. How about you 'OWN IT!' and admit that you were upset that Garcelle called you out on your flipflopping last week. That's what this was really about. That she was trying to pull from things that happened a year ago. That she sat there and corrected a black woman. That she was taking JABS in the way that she was accusing Garcelle of doing. That producers had the rollback on the fact that she talks waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much and NO*clap*ONE*clap*THING*clap on Garcelle doing anything vicious to her? Dorit can frak all the way off. And I await when Producer Kyle decides she is expendable and throws out the debt her and PK battle with in RL. JS. *shrugs* Loved that Kathy, Kyle (with her looks) and Crystal backed Garcelle up and that silly idiot from Connecticut had to back down and STILL tried to throw in a jab. I hope she realized going forward Garcelle will HAVE NO MERCY and I WILL BE LIVING. GARCELLE. You suuuuure, Baby!!!! Tore her a$$ right on up. I loved how she played it. And when Kathy and Crystal had her back over Dorit, Dorit knew she lost and was still picking. It was clear Dorit was looking for a moment and Garcelle let her know YOU AIN'T GETTING ONE HERE over what EVERYONE already knew. And just like Mia with Wendy on POTOMAC at the start of the season, if the offended friend had no problem with Garcelle, why do YOU have a problem? Oh, yeah...you have been irrelevant so far this season and need a moment. SUTTON. Needed more clapback. Though I loved her clapback at the dinner. Yes, it was ErikFAKE's problems and not at all bs. These cities talk. And when you are on multiple boards and know everyone who is anyone (I see Sutton was invited to the Met Gala this year vs Pat the Puss...I wonder why?), you do have to worry about your image. Especially when someone is clearly lying. CRYSTAL. Thank you for reminding everyone (since a cat apparently had ErikFAKE's tongue) that Garcelle did not know they had talked about not mentioning it. Yeah. If there was anything that I've been disappointed with was the fact that when Kristen FINALLY got a child of her own, Eileen was not there since that had always been her throughline (to have a child) as long as the character had been on the show.
