1-27 OMG! Thank you. Finally a scene between Laura and Lulu that feels a little bit LESS than plot pushing. Finally, Lulu got enough self-awareness to think about the gravity of all the stuff that happened in the last 4 years and how it affected LAURA. It finally felt like a scene between a mother and daughter and not a moment too soon. And I giggled at Lulu's Nik joke. Oooo at even Monica banning Drew. Drew who continue to be written as a prick on the verge of a breakdown. And CM continues to play it to the hilt. Outside of CS looking like a whole snack, I didn't care about those Willow/Chase scenes. Until the end, that is. Chase can't have kids? Lord... I'm sorry, but GO, JASON!!! I know it's just the writers are just trying to cover their bases to keep Sidwell on canvas as Frank's Flavor of the Month as long as possible with these Anna/Jason scenes just like the Anna/Laura scenes before it, but at least Jason gave a much better reaction to learning Sidwell was in town. And of course, he has no problem wanting him dead already. Since Laura and Lulu were discussing Lucky eventually finding out, I'm down for a Jason/Lucky team-up. I give credit where credit is due. MB was playing something subtle in the Sonny/Kristina scenes that I did not mind. It was around the part of the scene where Sonny sat down in the chair. Other than that, I could have cared less about them. Moreso when Natalia walked in. You know I'm happy for Liz to have scenes. So her and Lucky's misadventure was slightly confusing to watch, but still worth watching as the Cyrus storyline takes another step. Good to see Lucy and Martin in scenes again. No sex again with Drew? Smh. It will never cease to amuse me how Nina became an afterthought in her own story. Very. I am still livid. Especially because before that writing change announcement, we had been discussing that on these boards for a little while. But I am also bias. So I should probably hush.

You are not alone on that. That scene was extremely chilling. So I did not mind at all Sai going in about it in her Confessional. Because Brynn was just a mess last night. And now she's been all coy/smug with Production? Meanwhile Ubah was a mess when she got back to the house. Yes. Very much so. All I want to see her do is own it. Like LuAnn did on NY back in the day. THANK YOU!!! I thought it was just me. If anything, I felt Jessel had a glow-up. Compare her at the first cast trip last year to now, and it's night and day. She brings fashion in a way she did not before, and I love her vibe. Ooooo not Meilli!!! smh. I feel such a way about it.

1-27 Oh, the chuckle and look I gave my TV over Victor nagging Nikki, Victoria, and Claire about their actions with Jordan as if Victor had never vanished a body before. *cough*Ashland*cough* Good start to the week. It felt like such a coda to everything last week and now starting on wrapping stuff up. I was not expecting a final scene between Sharon and the Cameron in her head. Her just talking about her feelings. And then...he was gone. SC sold that for me, especially the parallels between her feelings of loss over Cassie and having to have Daniel around her life and now she was a reminder of Daniel losing Heather for his. Then you had Victor with the nagging. lol. But he played cover-up with Nick in front of Chance with the quickness. And then...FINALLY...back to the Daiman storyline. And now...Daiman is coming. Cute little scenes between Nate, Amy, and Audra as Nate gave Amy the tea on Daiman's background. I'm looking forward to his arrival in town as well. And nice coda with Tessa and Aria.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Well now that I had time to think about it while at work...It looks like Bravo is giving Kenya the Linnethia Leakes Special to me. Shady actions all the way out the door. Seriously though...my feelings for that trailer are mixed. Part of the reason RHOA has had a hard time IMHO is that it's been taking lashings that Bravo really want to give to Nene. How else do they keep finding every which way they can to damage their once # 1 show? So with that in mind, I can't with that trailer. A BETTER trailer...what I mentioned online...would be to show the buildup to Kenya's event. We already know her vs Brit (along with Porsha's return) is the main storyline. That Brit and Kenya had two confrontations at least. Kenya could have bowed out mid-season with Porsha taking the spotlight with her incoming feud with Drew and then the return of Shady Phae Phae at the end. All of the chaos seen or heard about online could have been teased a la BH's Season 9 with LVP's exit if played right. And all they gave was THIS??? I'm interested. Because the trailer definitely left A LOT out I hear. Good. Keep me intrigued cuz I am. But that could have been so much better. And I feel underwhelmed. Keep in mind, I've only seen the trailer once. Of the new girls, I can't wait for Angela Oakley. And that Flavor Flav moment was hilarious. Kelli...not sure. I already dislike Brit from the leg thing given I already know what the audience will think of her. And assuming Production shows EVERYTHING...which I feel they won't since the trailer already seems very 'get Kenya'...Brit might be in the wrong. And if Production don't show it, I am sure Kenya will bring the receipts. I don't mind seeing how Shemea is now though it was the S9 Shemea (and her rivalry with Shady Phae Phae) which made me like her. This new one could be a great position if she picks a 'showing her wealth' lane...something RHOA does need. Shady Phae Phae...well...let's not. lol. And we know Porsha is Production's Fave so *shrugs* I'm basically wait and see. So basically Kenya is just a FOH. Or worse...is getting the S7 Porsha Williams edit/punishment. Yeah outside of S9 and her rivalry with Shady Phae Phae she has not given much.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
NY I said that I was looking forward to the reunion. What Brynn did in the finale was dark. So I was looking forward to the lashings she was sure to get. Part 1 was worth the wait. And we haven't even gotten to Ubah going in on her yet, either. Barely 15 minutes in, Sai started on Brynn and kept that heel FIRMLY on her neck. Then you had Erin tag in here and there. Jessel read her ALL...THE...WAY...DOWN. And that was after Jessel tried to explain why she had an issue for empathy that Brynn was not giving. And then...FINALLY...the Gemini jumped out of Jenna. And I was HERE for it. The takedown of Brynn has been grossly great to watch. And good ratings, too. There was so much that made it that way though. The delusion of Brynn showing up at the reunion without looking at the last episode (though it sounded like everyone had not actually per Andy). And then she watched it...only to feel NOTHING. My bad. She felt jealousy at the other ladies rallying around Ubah. Without even understanding why they did. How???? Jessel's face said it all...what world does Brynn live on that she did not understand the gravity of what she did? And then...to double down on a victim act??? Heather Dubrow said it best. When everyone says you're dead...it's time to lay down. Take your lashings...Trick. ERIN. Everyone being mad at Brynn for being part of the 'mean girls' chat on the trip that they forgot Erin was in on it (and didn't notice that Jessel said Sai called and apologized as soon as it aired)...and didn't apologize, either. That said...I liked that she got her digs/reactions in on Brynn, too. And her segment did make me sad. Very happy that her dad knew she was expecting before he passed. RAQUEL. I liked we got an update on her mother...moreso because it was THE thread for her this season. Outside of that, good fashion, and good reactions, she was light this episode. UBAH. We haven't even gotten to her stuff yet, and she's already giving. Looks. Detachment like when Brynn first walked out. And also...grace. The fact her and Brynn are not at all in a good space, and she had sooooo much empathy and sympathy for Brynn when she was discussing the SA. Love her or hate her, but Ubah definitely showed her character in that moment. And I've already said it before, but I'll say it again...Ubah is a good friend. When Jessel was explaining why she had an issue with Brynn and Brynn was trying to spin it into a woe is me victim moment...Ubah was there to have Jessel's back with her 'LET HER TALK.' The host could never... SAI. MVP for me. I don't care, I don't care. lol. She lit Brynn up, and I lived for every moment of it. I lived for her keeping her heel on Brynn's neck. Andy having her back with the 'one yell and traumatized for 5 weeks.' Her clapbacking at Brynn with the fact Production had no rollback on her vs having PLENTY on Brynn. Mocking Brynn with the 'the energy' and hand gestures. The coup de grace was 'you're right. I don't know your job. What do you do?' with the piercing stare. Left Brynn for dead. Every time Brynn tried to spin a victim moment, Sai was there to bring tea, outyell her, and then checked her into the couch. And looked flawless doing it. Believe me when I said...I LIVED. Her only false note was the silly feud with Pavit. JENNA. YAYYYYY!!! The Gemini jumped out. FINALLY!!! LOL!!! A Gemini will only take bs for so long before they will proceed to verbally destroy you. And Jenna gave Brynn so many chances. She even held her hand to allow her to feel sympathy and tried to get through to her. But Brynn trying to be stubborn Aquarius and not apologize was IT for Jenna. Because for Brynn to sit there as Jessel poured her heart out as to why she was upset, and it fall on deaf ears. NO. She said the best thing...Brynn was WRONG, she needed to APOLOGIZE, and then she needed to SHUT UP. That's IT. Loved seeing that side of her that I knew existed. Outside of that...it does not seem like she's beating the money allegations given her brief chat with Andy. JESSEL. Why do they keep trying Jessel? lol. I didn't like that whole 'what work have you done?' segment at all. Other than that, I liked how detached she was from Brynn when Brynn came into her dressing room being nosy. And then she revealed how Brynn twisted her words about the question and how it hurt Pavit. And when Brynn showed NO remorse...she read that ass. LOVE. BRYNN. Outside of her SA segment where I did feel sorry for her...she deserved to be dragged and I've enjoyed every minute of her dragging. The fact she decided to come into the reunion unprepared AND doubled down on her victim/sexpot/lying act. NO, MA'AM. So the fact most of the ladies were whacking her left and right, turning her every which way, but loose...I enjoyed every moment of it. Solid Part 1. Can't wait for Part 2.

1-24 Yeah, definitely liked this one better than 1-23 which came across as plot, plot, plot. Again. Also again, not shocked. I did like that Jordan (per Isaiah) figured out that Sidwell was THAT Sidwell that held Lucky and almost killed him, Jason, Anna, and Holly. I was FINALLY!!! Someone pieced it together!!! Before February Sweeps!!! It was also pretty clever. And I did like Laura/Anna vs Sidwell. I will always like Mac/Cody scenes and Ric/Ava scenes. And it was cute that Joss and Lucas shared scenes though it was again about plot...and it made me think Cyrus (who has vanished) ain't making it out of February Sweeps alive. That said...I wasn't here for Sonny/Natalia and Laura's return to being a Sonny apologist. And as mentioned yesterday...MOLLY AND CODY??? HMMmmm. Meanwhile, I liked Brennan being there for Carly. And touching on her history with the Qs...though I side-eyed her so hard since she is the reason they don't get along. Cuz...Carly. lol. I honestly continue to like the BLQ/Maxie/Lulu drama. It was played real. And one thing that soaps used to give regularly has always been female friendships. And Maxie/Lulu was that friendship. However in the last four years, BLQ has grown and became that BFF to Maxie that Lulu was. For a soap, it is pretty organic drama with plenty of history. Even Tracy coming in and vetoing everyone is history given her being a mother figure to Lulu all these years. Though given how close Tracy is to BLQ, I'm surprised she would do something over BLQ's opinion given how much she wanted BLQ to work at Deception as HER legacy. I'm not against Drew being banned from the Q mansion. Sorry, not sorry. Hmmm. Not sure how I feel about Kai not being able to play football again. Unless it turns into the typical...jock finds another position (or love) only to find out there's another way to his goal of sports. Time will tell, I guess. Uneven week, but not a bad one.
