Wait! Is Alexia the prostitute? lol. That said...WORTH THE WAIT! Collectively I like them all. My favorites are Alexia, Larsa, Steph for giving ole school Nicole's taglines right down to the delivery, and Lisa with the model walk and the slight hair toss.

6-24 I thought it was another good episode. Teresa Zimmerman was the main breakdown writer behind the anniversary party reveal so I wonder if she will be connecting the dots in the Martin's story overall. She did that with the reveal and Brownie Boy. So I guess we will see. Another day, more pieces to the puzzle that is Martin's Secret. Now Smitty got a flashback? He continues to get closer and closer. And now Ted was involved...as if Nicole isn't mad at him enough. I do wonder if Ted recognized Kenny on sight...would that be the same for all his work? I also love how...with the Crooked Cop storyline connecting to it...we get Jacob's POV. In any case, I continue to love how more and more pieces are being revealed. This episode reminded me how much I've missed Kat vs Eva. They were both getting good digs in on each other. And what made it so fun is the fact that both of them know what the other is doing, they had to play it off. And lest, we forget...Tomas is in the middle of them. I do like Kat is driving the SilkPress storyline at the moment, but I do miss the young rivalry between the sisters. And continuing in C plot mode, I did like Bill and Dani having a moment where they came to an understanding. I know they will get back to A story soooon enough so Bill's comments about how Dani knows him better than anyone felt like foreshadowing. And I love how adult the conversation was between them. And for that reason alone, it is just more reason to believe that somewhere down the road, they will be circling each other again. And that would never happen without Bill apologizing to Dani to some extent. Also, he gave a bit of the truth to her. In a way he can't say to Hayley. So of course she had to show up and have drama.

6-23 Another day, another great Jazmen scripted episode. And the week started off staying centered on Martin's Secret. And that I loved. From Bill vs Vernon to Martin's 'encounter' (pun intended because rewatching that you all are right how it kinda does play like a well...specific kind of entertainment. ), it continued to be the best part of the show. Meanwhile, I actually liked that most of the subplots this episode were beats playing out from the SilkPress storyline. I was looking forward to see Bill vs Papa Pope Vernon again and it still did not disappoint. It holds up sooooooo well. And Clifton Davis inflected every line and word so beautifully. Did they both get good licks in? Yes. But I loved how Vernon let Bill get those licks in. And then? He completely walked him through what would happen if he walked out the door. And each possibility felt like he took a knife and sliced off another piece of Bill's armor. Vernon was menacing, but highly effective...and so different than the kindly man we have been seeing. Him in power was hot. Him being so arrogant that he did not at all try to use sugar to get Bill to his side with just an apology was not. That's just me focusing in on Vernon. There were just so many layers going on in that showdown because Bill was not completely in the wrong, either, and had a right to his opinion. Meanwhile...Kenny is running around trying to toy with Martin. Yeah, I didn't like the threat to Samantha at all. I also felt Brandon fumbled a little bit, but he will always be good at angry scenes as the end of the scene where he threw the bag showed. You know I enjoyed my Kat/Jacob Veronica Mars spinoff. But it is starting to feel like it's going to be a slow crawl. Hopefully, Kat will have the patience. That said...she got some good lines in on Silk Press Sheila. And that was funny. I liked they are starting on Eva trying to do Kat's job now. I didn't really feel her insecurity over it tbh. It felt like a way to have Eva be a Mary Sue. It also felt like a way to get to that Nicole/Eva scene which was nice, but still...let's not declaw Eva. Dani, Dani, Dani. I do respect that she is continuing to focus on moving forward from Bill. And she got to talk about her feelings with Pamela. I'm not one for the Billy/Dani/Hayley A story so it being in C plot mode works for me. However, I admit that I do appreciate that the struggle is real with Dani though.

6-20 I thought it was a good week. It's a great sign that the writers have a great story with the A story of Martin's Secret, and it continued to give good structure to the whole week. And we were given a piece a day. And now it's converging into other stories with the reveal of Joey, Jacob's dad, etc. being involved. The cherry on top has been how Smitty's going back to work, getting an assignment that ties him to the Crooked Cop storyline, is slowly leading him right to his husband's secret. Sorry...that's juicy and of course soapy. Bonus...seeing the other side of Vernon that's been hinted at a few times since the show began. Surely if Anita can be cold and ruthless, but lovely, there was also a side of Vernon that was similar. And I find this Papa Pope side of him fascinating to watch and Clifton is giving a masterclass in the subtleties he brings to this other side. So...it was a brother to Mr. Mystery Guy. Ooooo I KNEW IT!!! But that does not make it any less racist how he comes across in scenes with Martin. And the potential for fallout continue to be good. From the fact that Anita does not know to the realization that Jacob saw his idolized father might be to the aforementioned Smitty/Martin connection. Hooked and can't wait for more. The highlight was Ted vs Nicole. I thought those scenes were so good. The dialogue was crisp. Cuz Ted saying that line about Nicole's clothes and how she put them on and how he used to take them off...WOOF. I thought Keith did great and DD is always excellent as Nicole with the layers she brings to her performance. The one thing that has been lacking for me during the SilkPress storyline has been the fact that Nicole's POV has oddly been missing in the fallout...which has been good fallout for the most part because I have felt they are exploring all the beats...whether it is too slow or not. Still...Nicole's POV should have been coming back up sooner than now so I have liked that it's been having more of a presence over the past week. Vanessa, Vanessa, Vanessa. Falling more and more into Joey's world. And you know that for sure judging from her walking into that backroom and see Jacob's father and Marcel. I do wonder how that will come back into the storyline at some point.

Yeah, I feel the BTG males got it on lock. But outside of this week and GH with Gio...Y&R rarely lets their hotties undress for eye candy drooling. And the camera angles have been outside of Sean Dominic lacking as of late. So it's noticeable...and deserved. I feel you on Jacob. lol. And have rewind more than I should...lol. God, he is just such an attractive man. I only seen pictures, clips, and very brief on Friday since busy work day so I'm really looking forward to seeing the scenes in full. It was clear the cameraman was loving JR cuz that one angle of his back with the tatt and just how muscular he looked...I was kicking myself for having to do errands. lmao. Makes a man want to be as Beyonce would say...be a naughty girl. 😜

6-23 Meh. So I'm to take it the reason Cane is rich and 'powerful' is because of cryptocurrency? Over six years time? I had more of a reaction to the fact that Colin is dead since Tristen Rogers was good in the role when they allowed him to be crafty with Jill. I kinda want more of a reason how Victor figured it out other than 'it's Victor!' It just is not flying with me. At all. Neither is this whole Cane reveal. Neither is new flashback as a reason. None of it. Meanwhile, Damian continued to look more and more irrelevant by the second. And as much as I love seeing JR sitting spread eagle, he should be doing more than just standing around. I love BF, but all I saw this episode, Friday, and probably going forward is how much the Cane reveal is hijacking Damian's whole storyline because he could have easily been doing all of this. Like I mentioned the only day, a reveal by Damian of one upping everyone and having them fighting over shares in this setting (could Lily convince him, upping their relationship status, too...or if Phyllis tried it and irking Lily) could have worked. While I'm not necessarily a Cane hater, Lily has always been better and more developed when she's not around or with him. And Cane (well under DG) was at this best when he was dark. It might be too early to tell, but romantic lead Cane is a no for me. Especially since I like Lily/Damian better, but I already said how I felt about the hijacking so... I had to giggle at the Victor/Cane sitdown scene and all mentions of sitdowns alone. lol. It made me think of this board how all people have said is that people just sit around and talk. And here...Victor and Cane...are sitting around and talking. And no energy in that scene. Powerful...WHERE??? If this was Victor vs Damian, I feel it would be more evenly matched and the scenes from last week with them did have energy for me. Victor vs Cane...I already want Victor to wipe the floor with him. Not helped by all the other characters propping Cane like he's 'powerful.' If we have to prop, then the storyline (and character) is already a flop. Joshua Morrow suuuuure was looking like a snack in that blue buttoned-down. I'm not here for Woe is Me Billy. And you are telling me that Billy NEVER recognize Cane's voice on the phone? And I continue to feel Sally deserves better. Amanda stays giving great henchwoman.

Same. Thinking she was going to swing attitude Dani's way. She really has no idea beyond Naomi's stories. It's a whooooole other ballgame when SHE's the target.

Well, I thought that was a decent cliffhanger. And the next week promo was EVERYTHING. Silk Press Sheila...and HAYLEY??? Given we still don't know yet if SilkPress did a baby switch on Eva and Kat as rumored...could this be a way to confirm that by her teaming up with Hayley to fake a pregnancy? Not to mention payback on Bill. Ooooo THAT'S juicy. Are Kat and Eva about to be our first soap physical catfight? And...Ashley is about to meet Hurricane Dani. TeamDani on that.
