Netflix: One Day at a Time
That's true. I thought I read it in an article about the show. Will have to find it. It's sort of hard to tell.

Netflix: One Day at a Time
I thought there was a studio audience? Todd Grinnell liked a tweet of mine so that was cool but so did Carolyn Hinsey LOL (obviously about different things). Never really gave Twitter much of a chance but it's not awful when you get noticed lol.

Netflix: One Day at a Time
I found myself laughing out loud quite a bit. I think the show's absolutely hysterical. The Elena story was based on the producer, Gloria's, own experience. I also liked that they had her question her sexuality. And Lear's very much a part of the show. I mean the man is in his 90s! But he's very much a part of it. Rita Moreno is amazing the way she moves for her age. She steals every scene she's in but Machado is just as good and amazing in her own way. Fantastic casting. I'm adoring everything about this show. I like that it takes the Lear methods, longer scenes, tackling serious topics with a dose of humor. It's really very well done. Yeah, the topics tackled are really good. I can't get over how much I've been loving the show. Just so well done. I didn't laugh one bit when I saw a preview for it, but watching the show I think it's full of heart and humor and it's not afraid to tackle the tough subjects but it's not preachy. I was really proud of them tackling immigration with Carmen and her parents.

I don't mind they used the same name. Doesn't bother me really. I see a lot of complaints about it. It can stand on it's own, but I do think it helped to have the name. I wouldn't call Schneider a 'lowlight' but they do need to develop him a tad better. He's funny and fits in well with the family, IMO, but he's not super deep at the moment. I'm 9 episodes in. I love the updated theme song by Gloria Estefan. I love that they're willing to tackle topics you don't see enough of. Women in the army. Being treated like an afterthought by the VA.

I am curious to see what Whoopi will do. She was all but done after this year but she seems more engaged and seems to really like the women at the table. Guess we'll see. I'm sure they can give her more time off to do other things (Candace went weeks and months without being there) so it's going to be interesting. Rosie O for a third go around LOL. I'm kidding.

Fuller House
Looks like the next season will have 18 episodes

Same. I loved it how she gave it right back to them. And I didn't blame her for balking. I selfishly wished she had continued to appear but I loved her basically giving them the middle finger. And no Paula today. Sunny's off but no Paula. Interesting. Is she on vacation? Shouldn't they just say she's done? LOL

The show's really good. It's worth a watch IMO. Justina's great. I loved Six Feet Under.

Netflix: One Day at a Time
It dropped today. I'm surprised to be really enjoying it. First episode is hilarious. I like seeing more diversity on the screen. The cast is good and Rita Moreno is fabulous. They cast Schneider well. Yum. LOL And they of course kept the wonderful theme song. Updated of course but I was happy it's an actual OPENING. Love it. I miss opening theme songs and credits on shows.

Paula wasn't on before the two week break. I'm sure she'll be a fill in. Idk who thought it was a good idea to put her on and get rid of Nicolle, but didn't they offer Nicolle a one day appearance a week or something and she balked? Funny how they got on her for now being that into pop culture and the Kardashians yet the very next season and two they're focused on politics. Really a shame.

I missed my homegirl getting a nod? LOL. I did FFwd a bit through some hot topics. I wasn't in the mood. LOL But the last two days have been fantastic. I agree about Jed. I love how she presents her opinion. She offers a different view without being pushy. She's also clearly a free spirit and has fun. I like that about her. She can take a joke, she can take a jab. Sunny gets talked over quite a bit but I think she fits in well. Sara levels them all out with her goofiness, quirks and she's also smart, I've liked her for the longest time. Whoopi and Joy have been spot on. People really need to listen to them. And it sounds like they've all hung out with each other away from the table, and it shows. I really love this group. I hope and pray they don't mess with it.

I thought so. I also thought we'd be seeing Scotty too. Maybe we will. Both should be on the canvas. How Kevin has lasted all these years when it should have been Scotty. And I hope they keep using Beth Maitland and she's not just trotted out for holidays. Beth Maitland and Tricia Cast (and Tonya Lee Williams) would be one of my very first calls to beg to come back if I were in charge of the show. Wow, fantastic quality!

Will & Grace Revival
It's supposedly been confirmed by the Beverly Leslie actor that it's NBC. But I guess that could change. NBC hasn't confirmed it yet. Why wouldn't they be all over it?

I clearly don't keep up like I should with HO at the moment but they finally offed Joe? Thank god because that go around with him and Mercedes and throwing Joanne in there was tired as hell. I liked him though but he would go months without anything.

Exactly, they're focusing on all of the wrong characters! Fans reacted so positively to Bobbie reading Nelle the other day, BECAUSE OF BOBBIE and JZ, not because of the writing (so shush Jonny). Fans, young and old, want to see the vets. I also saw a bunch of young fans thrilled to see Katherine Chancellor again in the classic Y&R episode that aired.

Will & Grace Revival
And Mullally trolled the fans by posting a picture of the cast throwing martinis at the camera. LOL. Loved it. It's SO coming back. Just a matter of when they announce it IMO. I think it would be better on Netflix but if NBC lets them be a little more free I think it will be fine. And just 10 episodes is good. I think they relied a bit too much on cheap jokes and guest stars towards the end but I'm more than happy to see it come back for a short run.

LOL, for real? Too bad the show can't seem to get rid of the blight that is Phil.

One Life to Live Tribute Thread
In a way it sort of annoys me that Judith Light couldn't bother to return but under Ron, I really can't blame her or anyone for turning it down. I mean, Julianne Moore is certainly more famous (and I adore Judith Light) but she almost couldn't wait to get back on ATWT and say goodbye. That speaks volumes to me. But on the other hand, many actors, while not 'hating' their soap past, have simply moved on. The fact is Judith will almost always be recognized and remembered as Karen, and then Angela, but moreso Karen. Larry shouldn't have been dismissed at all. Wasn't Frank EP at that point? DePaiva also shouldn't have been axed.
