"The Conners" Discussion Thread
Mark, David and Darlene's son, has been cast: http://tvline.com/2017/09/07/roseanne-revival-mark-ames-mcnamara-darlene-david-son/ Taping starts in October. I'm hopeful I can attend a taping in November if my California trip pans out ...

The View
That's how I felt but I don't mind her as much now for some reason. I still wouldn't mind her gone though. lol

I like Jed. I disagree with her more but I still like her. She's fun.

Whoopi is coming back next season. It was confirmed a week or two ago. Paula's grown on me I suppose. She seemed really nice when I saw the show in person in April and she and Sara are definitely close, that was apparent.

Just like Will & Grace, ignoring the finale is for the best

Fuller House
Gawd her hair is tragic. LOL. But that's cool they're filming an episode in Japan!

Will & Grace Revival
His new 'thing' is "Jackting" lol YAY! And this season got upped to 16 episodes! Although I'd kind of have preferred they kept it shorter but as long as the quality is there ...

Will & Grace Revival
I love Leslie Jordan too. He's SO good. His timing is fantastic. I'm looking forward to the revival. I'm happy that they're ignoring the finale. Much like Roseanne is ignoring theirs (and hopefully ignoring Season 9 altogether though I can see Roseanne saying the spent all the lottery winnings and are broke again but I'd be just fine ignoring it and having that be Roseanne's writing where she dreamed they were wealthy and lived the rich life and also erasing Dan's pointless character trashing "affair"). Although I think the characters became a bit cartoonish in the last few seasons (I don't mind ridiculous characters or naive characters but when I question how Jack and Karen survive in the real world it's a problem though I LOVE them of course. Like when Chrissy on Three's Company became dumber than a stump, among others) and relied way too heavily on big guest stars I still really enjoy W&G so I'm excited for the revival.

I'm happy they included Sarah too but yeah, Lecy is Becky. According to this site, Darlene and David will also have a 9 year old son they name Mark who will be 'gender creative' https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/roseanne-sitcom-revival-to-include-transgender-character

Guiding Light Discussion Thread
I have a Windows PC and no real issues but it's pretty new. I was running on a 10 year old computer up until a year ago, it was updated with the latest Windows version but man it was tragic. Luckily I had bought a laptop about two years ago. I browse SON on my iPhone but I'll have to check out the video heavy threads to see if I have any issues, I hadn't noticed anything before but I mostly stuck to the discussion and spoiler forums. I have a Galaxy tablet so I'll have to see on that too I don't really use it much except if I travel. (And yes, I feel very lucky I'm able to have the toys that I do ...)

Very true. It really has been. Best group in a long time. Beats the Elisabeth and Sherri years IMHO.

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
You think everyone looks horrible But yeah James Hyde looks rough. Swaby looks his age. Loved Donn and Travis Hated their recasts (I never liked Eric as Ethan but I'm fine with him as Brady, visually he works as Drake's kid) Brook Kerr looks exactly the same LOL

Melrose Place
Me too. They did for a very brief while I believe but it didn't last long.

Dynasty: Discussion Thread
I disagree. I think it could have worked using the younger generation from the original Dynasty. They could have still done diversity and made character nods. They want the name and buzz that comes with it but not the baggage of the original, which is fine, but I think it's a missed opportunity. One of the main problems with the reboots of MP, 90210 and Dallas is that you had showrunners who didn't have a clue what the original shows were like. Once they started to get in the groove, and "get it", it was too little too late.

Young Sheldon: Discussion Thread
I don't really think Young Sheldon is necessary. Maybe once Big Bang goes off but not now. It's going to be a timeslot hit but on it's own (like many CBS sitcoms that are simply timeslot hits) ...

"The Conners" Discussion Thread
Considering the original series wasn't overly political I'd hope it's not now. I expect some jokes but I'd been fearing, like many it seems, that it would be nothing but Roseanne supporting Trump like she does on Twitter. To be quite frank I think she trolls a lot of time on Twitter. We shall see.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
One of the problems, IMHO, with the UK soaps is this desire to write people in and out and kill them off for shock value, and bring on new character after new character. I haven't watched in quite a while. I don't really like how they seem to like to humiliate the women on the show. Sharon, Denise, Michelle ... to name just three. And if they aren't being humiliated they're turned into unlikeable screaming banshees. Not to mention, IMO, the terrible view towards gay men.
