Thank you for both articles. I feel good with Allan in charge. Why mess with a stable show? She's already beefing up the families. I like Gabriel Clark but it's just a different kind of adorableness to him. It works for the character but I miss Aedan and yep it makes sense, the child star Duckworth would replace who's brought back to the role as an adult and it really doesn't work even though it should ... kinda thing. I get it lol. To be fair, the UK soaps do seem to do a decent job at recasting when they have to.

Sasha felt like dead woman walking for the longest time and now she's going nowhere (for now). The writing felt on the wall for Willow but now she's being propped at GH. I see they trotted Felix out with his pornstache to prop Sabrina 2.0

It's so embarrassing. And I am so sick of this show being deliberately tone deaf. The Willow propping is disgusting. But man, they are using Monica so much lately it's great. I'll give them that. Sometimes it's the little things ... And how much better would Chase/Austin be if this were Lucas instead? Of course not ...

Frank isn't stupid and the timing is right as we're getting Beyond Salem casting ... lol I'm annoyed DAYS hasn't bothered, but I assume it means Ron would have to address the Kimberly situation and I don't think we're ever going to see Patsy Pease as Kim again so ... they just ignore him I suppose. Or assume he isn't interested. Oh well. Kudos to him for getting a GH contract I guess.

Yeah. I'm not a fan of it. LOL. I kept staring at his neck line when they showed him from the back. LOL. I enjoy seeing Stephanie's portrait back up. It was also nice seeing Pam again. I love imagining Stephanie judging everyone, as that's exactly how she looks in her picture. Happy yet judgey. LOL. And I swear she was staring at Liam's dumbass wanting to jump out of the portrait and slap him again.

That's the thing. It often feels rushed towards the end. It's just a combination of a lot of things but still, Ron makes the calls as writer (meaning his choices often suck, and I know he can do better). He could do better but sometimes I'm willing to give it a pass, like the Sarah nonsense.

It's Ron so of course it's stupid. LOL. And of course it's right as Johnny arrives. I swear this show gets on my ever loving nerve no matter who the writer is. LOL. And it never fails, secrets come out, we get drama for a day and then boom, someone is gone and then it's on to the next. Ron always skips the true fallout, really. Remember when Duke and Anna were finally reunited on GH back in 2012/2013 and then off-screen for weeks? It's bizarre writing choices. I get it's how he structures things but it's not working for me. (He also did the same on OLTL so it's clearly a budget thing/how he was trained on the ABC soaps and it works with DAYS being so cash-strapped I suppose and low guarantees don't help ...) I thought she was sticking around longer than this but I don't know now. I assume she is. It seems stupid to set up EJ/Sami/Lucas and then have both men on contract and no Sami ... like, OK? Really Ron? And it does feel fast but she's been here since February/March. She spent weeks in the Salem PD, wasting time, like Ron does (because they didn't fully have her yet). He's obsessed with her being arrested and in jail for some reason.

Good god Frank. This man. Do we really need ANOTHER person on contract? I love Charles Shaughnessy but I can't ever even feel excited for a GH casting announcement because the cast is damn bloated and poorly used as it is. I'm hoping they remembered he already played someone and it's tied to Holly. But everything ends up being about Roger Howarth's character, no matter who he's playing, so ... How can you not? LOL Thank you. Precisely (one of) my frustration. Frank is deliberately tone deaf. GH social media is pretty united on his ass (except for his stans who swear up and down he's a soap savior) and sees what he does. He knows how folks feel. He doesn't care. He's desperately trying to make GH "his own" and failing absolutely miserably.

"Beyond Salem" could easily become a regular 'thing'. I'd be all for it, depending on how this first five go. It's probably going to be far better than the main show. LOL right? Make it make sense ... is there a 'quota' to how many kids/grandkids of Marlena can be on the show lol

lol. I hate he sucks me back in. I'm sure it won't last but I love me some Ted King, Sheila Carter and at least this 'Sinn' couple has a normal stanbase ... there's some potential. Brad still needs to hand over the writing reigns though.

Thank you Errol. Wanna drop who Eileen is playing lol It's such good news overall. And I feel like the other networks SHOULD be taking notice. But are they? ABC and CBS feel completely checked out of their soaps. It's really quite ironic that NBC is so behind DAYS. Remember when it was DEAD in 2007? Hey, Zucker, how's it going at CNN? That's what he always wanted anyway. 24/7 news. I'm wary of the same thing. I hope it feels ... fresher and less static than the show itself, honestly. Peacock is paying for it so it should have some sort of budget. However, I'm not sure what to expect looks-wise. I want 90s primetime special money and location shoots. That's likely not the case.

It really was a lost opportunity to cut him loose. Maurice clearly wants to do other things but at the same time wants the security of GH. Like Roger Howarth, it's time to move on. But yep, he'll be back on 24/7 and we'll look back at this time and wax nostalgia about how he wasn't on all the time and the show could do just fine without him lol. I also don't see why Carly has to be on every [!@#$%^&*] day either. The stans of GH aren't often united but they are in being tired of seeing her everyday.

She's not overly problematic (that I know of) so I can ignore her poor choice in politics. I agree her returns have sucked. I mean, she was wiping tables at a cafe on B&B. Like, seriously? This is what you have Sheila doing? I love that she's Finn's mom. B&B needs a shot in the arm BADLY.

He did seem to enjoy the Susan stuff lol. Knowing Ron it's going to be a wink/wink nudge/nudge situation lol.
