I don't know why something like this wasn't worked out with them. Y&R really struggles with the "Young" on their show. Lord. I liked Mealor but Kyle became blah and so did Summer. Hunter King was always a bit overrated IMHO but she's pretty much Summer. I imagine these two are who they stick with in the roles. And they probably know it.

I never expected not to see either of them again so I was prepared. It was a little too soon but they're probably gearing up for November sweeps. Ryan hanging around, Cyrus and Peter lurking around ... I agree though they haven't hit the mark with either Cyrus and definitely not Mr. Julliard Peter. It's time to move on. Why is this show so deliberately tone deaf?

It's all so depressing. Reminds me of Corrie circa 2015-2018 (heck it started way back in 2001 but they masked it better and it got worse around 2010). Everything was just depressing. I mean Michelle alone lost a child, her son was recast and run-over (but lived), was involved with abusive Robert and then got shot but loony Phelan. Lord. No wonder the actress left (reminds me of Sunita and how the actress finally had enough). Every story just had some dark tone to it and was miserable. So I can understand the struggle Emmerdale fans are having.

lol But yeah it is kind of a stretch. We'll see what they do with her. I like the idea but I'm also kinda with you that I'd kinda rather her be some crazy groupie that is fascinated by psychos and then emerges as her own. Meanwhile, doesn't it feel like Ryan has a bunch of potential victims being lined up? Harmony comes to mind. And how soon before Gladys becomes Mrs. Vincent Novak? LMAO. I love Gladys. I know some hate her but she's a hoot and making this Jason/Carly stupidity watchable. Unfortunately my gut says Gladys probably bites the big one.

Yay to Brook Lynn and Chase Looking forward to Esme/Trina/Spencer NLG must be being punished now lol Alexis stuck with Peter. Lord. And I'll never find him an 'amazing thespian' but Mathison is likeable as Drew and it works. I'm weirdly looking forward to Drew complicating Sam/Dante.

I couldn't agree with you more. Said it perfectly, especially on Gwen. Ron almost always seems to do this though, bring on a new character and they catch a spark with the audience but he has them do such awful things and then 'redeems' (i.e. makes them boring) them or they get stuck with a new writer who waters them down. It's just such a waste. I agree on the Sarah aspect. I'll allow it. But if they aren't bringing her back, what's the point? Paul Telfer is definitely having fun and it shows. It helps a great deal he's so invested.

Johnny/Chanel/Allie were the definite highlights. I found Calista amusing in her first episode but I'm already over it. And Xander is Ron's new David Vickers. It's not necessarily a compliment. And Gwen is completely useless now as a character. It's such a shame. What a waste of both of them.

I have no idea on Marci/Abby ... I felt like she was done but was it just a long leave? I've always found it interesting that without Missy, they dump Matt, but yet keep Billy Flynn and Rob Wilson with the rotating Abby's and Victoria Konefal coming and going.
