  1. No lies here. I still miss her. I'm happy for her success. Her and Tequan saw the literal writing on the wall and were like "deuces" GH. Good for them.
  2. Lawd Leo is so thirsty for a man with money and I love him for it
  3. In regards to the Doug story ... I don't know if it's what we thought it would be ...
  4. I definitely have my nitpicky quibbles (some cast could be used better) but I appreciate the larger cast as well. Y&R should actually take notice.
  5. She's approaching three years to when she debuted so it is interesting timing ... she's felt like dead woman walking for a long time. But I've said that about both Sasha and Willow ... I still say they're easy offs. And sadly Jordan's recast made her an easy one to get rid of.
  6. I think so too. I think Carrie/Wilson are deliberate efforts, JMO.
  7. The 'stache doesn't work for everyone, IMHO, but damn does it work for him. Who says they won't? lol. Freddie is definitely done. But yes I agree. Y&R was dumb to not use him and DAYS would be as well. Just feels like they or someone doesnt want Will and Sonny on the main show. Which is odd considering he finally has his siblings on the show, his sister is bisexual and his mother has been kidnapped .... make it make sense LOL
  8. He's not the one that makes those calls boo LOL Ridiculous though they aren't on the main show
  9. This. They really never had that opportunity after 1999/2002. 2011/2012 - Muldoon's Austin was throttled by a half naked Abigail and Carrie had the hots for Rafe but that's it. 2005/2006 was JER's stupid idea to regress Austin/Carrie/Lucas/Sami and retell their story in the worst way possible.
  10. I think Ron gave up on them on the main show. Leo was "too gay" for NBC, remember? Ron is very obvious when he loses interest. If he's not allowed to write for them ...
  11. I have little interest in the main show. Why is it such a train wreck when they clearly can do something better?
  12. Exactly. Which is why I'd love a little more money tossed the main show's way. With two years locked they should be plotting a lot better going forward. But Ron needs a co-hw. And I'd argue a stronger producer. But the potential is there. It's there for all the soaps but they fail in so many ways. Many avoidable ways. I'd also argue the show has some deadweight that can be cut and they might need to make a tough choice or two.
  13. There was such good potential for a DiMera/Horton/Kiriakis triangle. I already enjoy this show more than the main show. It just checks all the boxes for me really. A cast I care about, a slightly better budget and a clear focus. The main show could be better but for some reason that's what they choose to put on network television (same for the other three soaps). Loved the slight digs and nod at the stupidity of the main show in regards to Ben and no budget. Shane "our budget isn't what it used to be" (or however he said it) ...
  14. I get that. AP and CC do have a good rapport and they picked up like no time had passed. AP also easily slipped back into the role of Austin easily. It works but I definitely agree they keep trotting out Austin and Carrie has seemingly been stuck with him forever. I'd love to see Carrie/Christie tried with say, nuEJ on the main show. Hell even Martha Madison had chemistry with Dan. I'm kinda dying at the Baywatch 90s feel of the Miami stock footage. I love it.
  15. She looks fantastic. I'll never get over this show firing her so many times. How stupid they were. But she's had a great life, lived around the world, so it's worked out for her but selfishly I've wanted her on the show for so damn long. Ron seems interested. Austin Peck ... ugh ... Austin Reed feels like an albatross on Carrie's back but I'd take him with her over Rafe anyday lol you know that's who they'd stick her with. I bet DAYS wishes they still had old/gone Salem Place to use now LOL I feel like I can't look at the main show the same now after Beyond Salem ... and this is just one episode in. Can we please get the main show a bigger budget? I love Paulina all "I'm rich and fabulous and know this person and this person and this person" ... lmao it's perfect
  16. Watching now ... I liked the updated Days opening and then the new opening for the mini-series. A part of me would have liked the cast in the opening but it worked. A slightly bigger budget would be nice but they've done a good job making this happen in a short amount of time. I appreciate the re-dressed sets and they do a good job setting the scenes for where the characters are. It's what soaps used to do. Tony/Anna/Carrie gave me all the feels. And then Austin stormed in. Lord. Can we free Carrie from Austin? Sorry ya'll ... lol It does give the vibe of a primetime soap/DAYS with a better budget. I approve. Like I said, they did a good job with what they had and in the time they had to do it. Zach Tinker does a good job. I approve of him as Sonny. I do find it funny how over the years Chad and Sonny have become closer than Chad and Will once were. Can't wait to see Billie's take on Ben. LOL. Ben and Ciara are literally useless. I'd rather see literally anyone else. But I get why they're there.
  17. I agree. If we could have nice things, Chad would have been all over Sonny and Will. He'd be bisexual no question. And Billy Flynn plays it that way LOL. So excited to see Zach as Sonny and Christie Clark as Carrie. That's what it sounds like to me. I'm cool with that, I guess, since this is probably the DAYS I'd rather watch anyway LOL
  18. It makes sense it's 6 months. I could see it extended but if his entire existence is obsessing over Obrecht ... it makes sense it's not longer than six months. I assume he's the fall guy for everything wrong and the whitewashing of Peter's crimes will continue. Instead of writing him out they seem to be doubling down. I just don't get it.
  19. Haven't watch yet. Sounds like the writing could have been slightly better? So many who saw it were saying it was "game changing" ... I don't see it from the comments here. How? game changing as in a soap is being promoted by the network and airing a mini-series on it's streaming platform? Nothing about the show itself feels game changing so far. So that has confused me. Hype I guess.
  20. Another great interview, thank you Errol!! I find it interesting Peacock/NBC wanted him but the mainshow producers are like nope don't want him back on the main show. LOL. I get it. Hence Frank hiding out in the back alley with a contract .... I appreciate hearing he's on GH for six months. So many times we hear about people joining shows and never know how long, etc.
  21. LeBlanc can be annoying, but I love his support of them. I imagine the stars of the other soaps are supportive and probably a little jealous It was a nice read Noticed this part which is nice to hear (even though it's been stated before the network is clearly supportive) and it was the network's idea. (Hopefully with streaming 'being the future' - which we've heard for over a decade now - we can work out the issues and cost of streaming old episodes) Corday is hoping they’ll get a chance to do more. “DAYS has become more of a franchise than ever before. The good news is that the network is excited about the possibilities. They see it as an asset and something that other things can come from for Peacock. That’s the new world. Broadcast television will always be there but VOD/streaming is something they’re putting a lot of emphasis on, which is good news for DAYS viewers.”
  22. I'm so excited to see her as Kristen and Sister Mary Moira (either real or Kristen as Mary) again. I wonder if Kristen lets the devil out
  23. I think it was a well done week. It's been a good story overall. Abi and Nina have grated on me at times but the conclusion has been worth it. It's also been good seeing more of the cast finally mixing it up again.
