Yep. I've always said it but Chandler is invested and comes alive when the writing is there and his screen partner is invested and awake. Chandler can definitely get lazy but I think he's more than reminded folks this go-around that he IS Will. Quirks and all. LOL.

He really does need them. This is why characters need friends and not always stuck in story bubbles checking off boxes. He sure was! lol I was impressed. Didn't expect that from him at all. A lot of the younger actors DAYS has have good personalities that don't often get to come out.

There's really no need to do Curtis is Trina's daddy; it now feels like it would be propping Curtis/Portia, which they don't need. We also just sat through the 'never-mind' Finn/Chase/Gregory paternity mess. No thanks. But that's clearly where they are going. I mean, I figured they would from the jump, honestly. But I prefer Taggert as her dad. Though, clearly, the show has no interest in Taggert. I appreciate they have Curtis interact with a slew of characters but I agree with you @Chris B there seems to be no agency there and they still sort of exist in a bubble, if you will.

lol exactly! the stick was out of his ass lmao ... but it's so true. he's like a stick in the mud and gets just awful writing. Beyond Salem has really spoiled how I look at the main show LOL

I love how game Billy Flynn is for anything, same for Zach and Chandler. They had fun, enjoyed it, and it showed. I have to say Beyond Salem has renewed my love for Flynn's Chad. Unfortunately the main show seems to crap all over him with awful writing.

Same. It was a good interview. Zach is very talented and I couldn't be more thrilled they cast him as nuSonny. Just perfection. He's going to be snapped up, I just know it. DAYS needs to secure him.

It is SO NICE to see some of the characters just having fun.

Ron will still have his faults but I agree this has been a great story to watch unfold. He's and the show have done a great job. It shows they're capable. And it shows he can tell a fun story. It doesn't always have to be retreads and rehashes of old stories you want to retell, Ron. More of ... this. And yes indeed Billy Flynn has a perfect 🍑 ... I appreciate the show highlighting it. NuWilson gives me OldWilson 2010-2014 vibes and I'm so here for it, but it's really nice that Zach can do the heavy lifting, if you will. He's great. I'm so beyond happy with him as Sonny. Same. Very much didn't care for him on Y&R (the story was hot garbage so that didn't help) but agreed, I love him in everything else I've seen him in now. His facial expressions during Kristen/Billie's confrontation are great.

Yeah, Eric and Greta were sweet and Nicole was fun as their spoiler but then we got Nicole/Lucas, Jensen/Eric left and they paired her with yet another 'sweet guy' in Austin. And stuck them in Eden hell. Greta really never stood a chance, looking back. I'd rather be watching them than the bootleg Bope wannabes the show keeps trying to force

So is Kate Oates still overseeing the BBC shows as Head of Continuing Drama at BBC Studios? Her influence is so clear even if she isn't the direct producer of course. Makes a lot of sense when I realized she was overseeing the show for BBC.

Yes please! Jax is insufferable for many reasons we don't need to get into anymore at this point lol. I just want Ingo off my screen. If I was given a choice of either Peter or Jax forever and ever, I'd pick Mr. Julliard. I will probably appreciate his reading them for filth but otherwise ... it's time to kill him (and a few others) Even better!

Yeah the show overall has it's moments here and there but it's lacking big time. Janine adds familiarity and Charlie Brooks is very much checked in and it was nice to see Jessie Wallace come alive around her. Kat vs. Janine over Scarlett isn't the worst but I do see them going for cartoon villain Janine. We shall see. I don't necessarily have high hopes but I'm still happy to see her. And to add, a lot of the characters just feel ... tired I notice some more humor which has been nice but it's still misery

She was definitely underdeveloped even though she was used a lot. I agree that they just decided to leave it alone and that was probably the right call. I hate they wasted Greta on "Jack is gay but not really" and then boom she was gone.

I loved Greta too. Julianne Morris was always very likeable. I wish they had made John her father, looking back. Good to hear. Looking forward to it. I didn't post much about Episode 2 but it was fine. The Golden Girls auction rip-off was entertaining.

I love them both. I always forget she's with him. He never got his due on soaps. He got shafted for Pelphrey IMO. Anywho ... I like Frantz but I'd much rather he be back on B&B. They could put her back with Thomas, play up her Sheila connection ... I could see her as Cassie Brady/DiMera (they will always be DiMera's to me, not Brady's). She doesn't give me Sarah vibes and frankly I'd rather they go younger for Chelsea and Stephanie. Chelsea seems forgotten (she didn't even get name dropped on Byeond Salem, did she?). Linsey should have been Stephanie. Granted she'd be a different one than Hennig but it could have worked. Melissa Archer should have been Sarah.

I loved they included him. When I saw Billie had a dance with Kyle I knew Ron would be all over her DWTS time and play nod to it. I always liked Louis. He always kind of got the shaft in regards to partners, Rinna and Monique Coleman aside.

Same. I've come to really like Tajh Bellow as TJ. Hopefully not. Curtis is into Portia. Shawn will likely be paired with Alexis. They aren't interested in Taggert. Jordan's time feels up but at the same time, a part of me doesn't think they will off her. Guess we will see.
