I agreed. I'd love to see her back. If Haines does leave again that would suck. I don't really see her as 'high profile' as much as I adore her. But I guess she could be considering her run on GMA and hosting The Chase in primetime. High profile exit to me would be Whoopi or Joy. My guess would be Joy retiring in the future. They'd probably like some familiarty at the table, especially considering it's the 25th. I love Ana. Would love to see her permanently. I can see a 'new table' so to speak being unveiled for the fall. I know it has been doing well but it feels time for a change.

She really was good at it. I loved Katherine when she was a schemer. Heroine just didn't work. 1997 was definitely a hot mess I have to say I like Bobbie and Stefan. I don't really think Stefan was ever given his 'due' as a character, if you will. He kinda deserved better over the years lol. I also feel like I rooted for AJ and Stefan extra hard because they tried so hard to make them more awful than Luke and Sonny who were their own kind of awful LOL. Anywho ...

Exactly. I've said it a billion times but she's a talking head (someone who gives their take on a 'news show' and she carried herself like that, checking out when the subject wasn't about 'her'), not a talk show host. She just didn't bother to try to be one either. THEY tried to make her one. It was never going to work. They should just rotate in legacy hosts for the 25th season. Yeah, she just wrapped up Home and Family. She seems to be doing fine. Didn't she host some entertainment news show that failed too? She's stayed busy, she doesn't need The View. I think Sara fills that spot Debbie would have filled, because like you said she wouldn't fully fit the Meghan/Elisabeth role. She's more the 'funny young blonde'. I can't see it full time at all. I think they might rotate in 'legacy' hosts. And where is Barbara Walters? Not a peep in 2020 (of all years). I'm guessing she's not well (especially considering, and not making light of it at all, that she was showing a decline before she retired).

Monica's reaction just totally deflated me, honestly. I chalked it up to her just not giving a [!@#$%^&*] anymore. LOL. I'm enjoying the usage of Monica lately. I hope it continues. They do a good job and then she usually vanishes for a while. Carly is LOVING it (and it is totally in character for her). I wish the show would just write her 100% in character and own it. Their problem is the desire to have Carson be some soulmate/supercouple, so to have Carly be all "YAY I WON JASON" would slap them in the face so they seem to write Carly borderline on where she should be, if that makes any sense. Liz literally falling asleep as Finn talks summed them up perfectly. They can stay friends. It has been nice seeing a happier, IDGAF Liz (a dead Peter and Franco will do that to you I suppose). Loved the "do babysitters bring vodka?" (well ...). Reminded me of chain smoking bitchy Liz from 97. I do keep forgetting the Hayden factor but the show doesn't seem interested in Hayden ... and why do we never get any Liz/Violet scenes? Liz is her freaking AUNT. Anywho ... I'd like Carly's house back too. Wyndemere did seem to undergo some cosmetic changes. Not drastic but they did update it (or at least "that room" we always see). I'd like to see the rest of it though. Seems like it's always that one room now LOL. Agreed on the really dark old Quartermaine set colors. I appreciate the brightness in that regard and the modernizing of it. It works and still feels familiar. Dumb question but are there two studies/living rooms so to speak? There's a modern sitting room and then the office with the old color scheme. I'm seeing on social media folks are getting confused and it's making me confused. We've always had two different sitting rooms right? I have to say GH has a decent amount of sets they rotate through. I'll give them that.

Yeah, it was like the air was let out of the balloon/tire, so to speak LOL. It was like they gave up and simply reunited Wilson and wrote them off. I know Christopher Sean left but I still question the total missed potential of Will/Paul/Sonny. I can't even count on two hands the missed potential DAYS has wasted over the years. I don't get my show sometimes. Even Twitter is seeing that not much substance is here to be found, nothing really matters and it's almost like the show has been in a holding pattern for years. Hopefully having a longer renewal allows them some room to mix things up. And I have to say, as a writer, Ron is a massive tease. I know some of it is budget restrictions and poor management but still ... The show has the cast and potential. Story ideas, on paper, aren't bad. But the execution often lacks. I don't feel like these soaps have time to waste anymore, if you will.

Looking back I can appreciate Guy's chemistry and his effort at the time but it says it all that his Will could be easily murdered. Absolutely agreed on Paul/CS. He really made something out of next to nothing. He embraced playing John's son and loved it and it showed. It just ... worked. It shouldn't have but it did. Such a credit to CS, and even Drake, IMO.

The Q mansion is just a little TOO teal for me lol. It's nitpicky I know. I do like the overall remodel and changing of the door. The Corinthos house just looked larger and nicer before. I don't like the fireplace. However it feels like something Laura Wright's Carly would remodel and add so I guess it works LOL. It reminds me of Carly's old house a bit. Just nitpicky stuff LOL I didn't think we needed to see Charlie's (those scenes could have been at Kelly's) but I forgot Ava owned it LOL so I guess it made sense we saw it. I feel like the only one who thinks about the use of sets lol but I know I'm not

I agree on Chandler. Guy Wilson had great chemistry with Christopher Sean. Chandler/Guy feels like Kate Mansi/Marci Miller. Maybe with different writing or direction Guy would come alive more? I would love CS/Paul back. I miss him. Sonny can be recast. I like Freddie, and like Chandler, have overlooked his flaws. Same. I loved early flavor Wilson. Something changed and I was all for Will and Paul. Chandler and Christopher seemed to have a bro-mance and you could see they enjoyed each other. Not saying Chandler and Freddie don't but the chemistry wasn't the same at all anymore and Will and Sonny seemed more suited apart, yet still besties. I'd say Guy Wilson definitely had chemistry with Christopher Sean AND Freddie Smith. I have to say it royally sucks we have Sami and Lucas on the verge of a reunion (it's probably just a tease knowing Ron), Allie interested in both Chanel and Tripp, and Johnny finally coming to town and WILL IS OFF-SCREEN. Sigh. Make it make sense.

Yeah, I hate to agree but I'm not getting my hopes up with Spencer and Trina. We can't have nice things on our US soaps lol. Dev should have been in love with Cameron. It felt like that was the direction they wanted to go in. Ashton should have been Spencer. Dev was becoming a schemer but I assume they just figured Spencer would make more sense in that role and I'd have to agree. Why some new kid when it should be Spencer? I do think the teens need to expand though. It's always just the three/sometimes four of them. Don't they have other friends? lol I liked the Judge Carson story point. It seems more like a 'get out of jail free card' but at the same time, any attention brought to injustice faced EVERY DAY is needed. I appreciate they went there. Could it be or have been more? Sure, but it's a start. Joe Novak? LMAO I see bits of nuSpencer that remind me of oldSpencer. But the schtick wouldn't work. I do think some of the tendencies he had as a kid could be highlighted. It's still early. I get this Sonny story was so Mumbles could do something else and not have to 'be the star of the show' but like ... let's get going here. I agree on Nina. I will always love Watros but Nina is still not the 'legacy character' Frank wants her to be. She never will be. The whole Monica is back/Terry thing felt added in, personally. I'll believe any sort of story there when I see it. I will say they finally heard my bitching and are using the cast a bit better (Bobbie, Scott, Lucy, Kevin and Monica are as involved as I need them to be at this point). But it never seems to last. I also shouldn't have to say "I'm happy they're on so much" (lol at so much, which is still not much) but it's been great seeing Molly and TJ. Also nice that Stella is still around. Anyone else think Lenny's gonna bit the bullet (they made a point twice to highlight his heart condition) and just Phyllis goes back to PC with Sonny? I like Lenny and Rif Hutton but they seem more interested in developing Phyllis.

I'd be very curious to see what she's like away from being a talking head. Like, does she surround herself with people who think only like her? Does she dismiss folks in real life who are talking and she doesn't like what they're saying? Does she loosen up with a few drinks? She's very odd. Every once in a while she almost "lets her hair down" so to speak and I almost come around but then man she just amps up her usual behavior. I just can't with her anymore. She really was driving me away from The View. How on earth this person came from John and Cindy McCain, who "get/got it", I have no idea.

In terms of sets, I appreciated the exterior of the hostage house. I liked the new restaurant set too but they stopped using it. I wonder if they're using it and the walls to make the pool area? The walls look the same just painted tan. I feel like the Q set and Corinthos house remodels left me feeling mixed. Almost forgot about the remodel of where Willow is living. It was nice having that set back. It was nice seeing Kelly's trotted out. I think they probably should cut the restaurant/bar sets down though (obviously The Tan-O will eventually go away or be reused). I know it's easy places for folks to meet but it's been nice seeing a bit more variety like the dock, etc. So I guess I'll pick the pool set as my favorite new set lol. I miss the old dock set. Kinda rambling about sets, LOL ... Finola and James do have chemistry. It helps a lot. Anyone else kinda tired of the current hospital set? It's a far cry from where it once was in the big remodel and I still kinda miss the old round hub.

I hate to say it but I kinda like Anna and Valentin. I'm shocked. I know. I never thought I would. But Valentin has come a very long way. Somehow he was salvaged, IMHO. I credit James Patrick Stuart and his charm and chemistry with that too. Sam and Elizabeth make sense as friends. Not BFFs of course but a "having each other's backs" kinda thing. Robin can be their third I mean, let's be honest though, Sam as a character was used to kick Elizabeth to the curb. JMO. But I liked their scenes. Jason looked miserable as Carly wrapped her arms around him. This sums up Jarly perfectly. PERFECTLY. I LOVED Britt's attitude towards them. Jax can be shoved off the balcony for all I care but I loved him reading Carly for filth. I don't think Cam/Joss have any chemistry, sorry LOL. The boys have always had chemistry with each other and the girls with each other. Just saying. I've always wondered how far ahead they are. I knew it wasn't super far ahead but I could never ever remember, so good to know. I kinda figured it out when Mathison posted he was starting to film. All DAYS can afford is a kiddie pool. Probably not even that! LOL I appreciate the effort lately with the sets. It's true
