  1. There's been a lot posted lately, so I'm not sure whether this has been posted. ICE Spokesman Resigns, Saying He Could No Longer Spread Falsehoods for Trump Administration
  2. For all the public murmurings about people wanting the show back (or some part of the show/episodes), I honestly doubt that anyone really wants to launch a concerted effort to try to get more episodes issued and no wonder because it seems so daunting. A quick search and I encountered some information on the company that SoapClassics worked with for digitization of the videos. I may be wrong but two men, Mark Yates and Richard Keatinge seemed to be the ones in charge of the SoapClassics/Broadway Video Digital media effort. I think one of them (perhaps both) are on LinkedIn but I don't think either one is still with B'way Video Digital anymore. I'm sort of curious as to how they did it (work out an agreement w/ P&G to allow them to distribute the DVD sets) and why they were unable to continue digitizing more videos. Were there ever any podcasts interviews with these guys? Surely, someone in the vaunted soap media must've had these guys as guests on their podcast, right?
  3. It's about time, Florida but I'll truly be impressed when Rubio gets tossed out for someone with a heart, conscience and a spine. There should be a picture of Nielsen in the dictionary by the definition of oblivious. Who goes to a Mexican restaurant after trying to 'sell' the notion of forced separation of families only to send children from Central American countries to internment camps? If she had gone to a Mexican-American owned restaurant, surely they would've spit in her food.
  4. This is hilarious.
  5. Lest we forget, what has been going on in Italy over the last several years in regards to the open hostility shown to migrants and ethnic minorities, is as bad as ever, if not worse. Italian Minister Moves to Count and Expel Roma, Drawing Outrage
  6. Now that there will be a vacancy on the UN Human Rights Council, apparently Russia wants a chair. You cannot make this stuff up.
  7. White House deputy Chief of Staff Joe Hagin has ties to a sex cult??! Apparently his resignation comes on the heels of a BuzzFeed story that reported this.
  8. You Tube doesn't even have episodes from half of the Toms uploaded on the site.
  9. Okay, this is not meant to be funny but...
  10. Somehow I doubt the Breitbarts and the Daily Callers of the world would be circulating this news item.
  11. No surprise that under Trump, the DOJ has moved to put more people in jail, and one of the consequences of this + the GOP's 'smaller government' ethos-- "the shortage of correctional officers has grown chronic under President Trump". You now have teachers and clerks serving as substitute guards at maximum security prisons, to a swelling prison population. Nice work, America. Safety Concerns Grow as Inmates Are Guarded by Teachers and Secretaries
  12. I couldn't change the channel fast enough when that show came on. Maybe that's why I don't remember him.
  13. ...but she's just like her husband.
  14. Remember those twits who used to post on this messageboard claiming that HRC would be as bad or worse than Trump? I'm glad that they were booted off --dumb AF. I sincerely doubt that the U.S. would be opening and operating child concentration camps had HRC been POTUS.
  15. @FaulknerAnd it's Venus' Birthday today too!
  16. Still a cute photo though, so I'm gonna use it. No offense to anyone in L.A. but I always thought that the soaps on the West Coast had the worst hair styling. After the 1980s, they truly fell off. The hair on shows like AMC, ATWT, OLTL was usually on point (with the exception of some terrible trends), no matter the ethnicity because they actually had stylists capable of doing hair and working with any texture.
  17. I still don't even know who this mofo is. 411 for those who do.
  18. Does anyone know whatever happened to Ann Mitchell (Jane McDonald Bingham)? Has anyone tried asking Elizabeth Hubbard whether she has kept in touch? I tried looking on IMDB and only found scant biographical information (b. 1956, is that possible??). I tried doing a garden variety search online and came up with some interesting results, none of which had anything to do with Ann Mitchell. The results were pretty wild though, LOL. In the images section some random photos came up including this one, LOL. Sharon Case as Debbie Simon. I think I may try to use this as my new avatar for awhile.
  19. Even less so, ED's Margo, IMO.
  20. How many people have seen this episode recently?
  21. Finally!
  22. They're certainly more blatant and demonstrable and much easier to prove. Every day, at some point, it dawns on me that people actually voted for this. FFS.
