  1. Oops, I meant Rick, lol. You're asking for too much, lol. I don't blame Tamara Tunie for shooting down his request. He's a hack, whose had to beg actors to bring their colleagues in. We should be thanking Hillary Bailey Smith, Melanie Smith, Scott DeFreitas, Martha Byrne and Colleen Zenk--they did most of the heavy lifting in convincing colleagues and friends to do these reunions. Locher couldn't have gotten half these folks on his own, PR or no PR.
  2. Thank you for posting this interview. Most actors are usually tiny but anytime I see Lindsey onscreen, I am reminded of how tall she is, and when you think of her Nick, it's no wonder they produced a famous athlete. That Soap Opera Digest cover,🤭. Even though I didn't like that storyline, that cover with Willam Fichtner is cute. I wonder if she'd do any acting again. She has a pretty good voice for V.O. work.
  3. Well dang, this is sad news. Condolences to his loved ones. It has been a year full of untimely losses, hasn't it?
  4. Sloane only gets up for the Williams Sisters, Madison Keys and maybe Vika. Most of the rest of the time, she's half-asleep. Yet, I rarely hear her get told to retire, over and over, which hey, it's her prerogative, like any other player. Just saying, both Williams Sisters were playing consistently high-level tennis with a much stronger competitive field when they were Sloane's age.
  5. Such a talent, gone too soon.
  6. Lemme be the first to say that I am no big fan of Carillon, but she did stand behind her convictions in regards to the Sandgren stuff and she clearly stood behind her convictions in regards to this Zverev scandal. By the way, BTR also has a YouTube channel and the podcast interview is also uploaded there.
  7. Speaking of backlash- I posted this in the "Other Topics" forum, but thought I'd post it here too since a few of us have been discussing Procter and Gamble's lack of appreciation and lack of value for their archives, their daytime dramas, in particular. Well, P+G's lack of value placed on their productions extends beyond their entertainment production archive, but to their actual products. Y'all can argue ball you want about the detritus of the show in it's last few years (everyone is entitled to their opinions) but it can't be argued that P+G is a wasteful corporation that doesn't place much value on the "World", let alone what's on and in it. Just ask the descendants of the company's founders who are publicly slamming the corporation for its dereliction of public duty.
  8. The descendants of the P+G founders are publicly slamming the company for its waste of precious resources in the manufacturing of many of their products. Those of us who are fans of P+G produced shows know all too well how short-sighted the company can be about protecting that which is truly valuable. Maybe someone ought to contact the P+G descendants about helping to other aspects of the company's legacy as well, like their video and television archives. P+G is truly a wasteful corporation, any way you look at it.
  9. Her fanatics claim that these people contacting Hough on her behalf are not connected to her, just some random people acting on their own... allegedly. Also, when Minaj contacted Hough, it appears that she used veiled language, not making things explicit.
  10. It just got lost in the shuffle. No need to apologize. It happens. It's good to have an article posted anyway, in case people need more context. Yikes, now it's my post that shifted the page, lol.
  11. People are still hurting. As we post, people are being evicted. Inflation, though it may be temporary, is still sending the costs of things, including food, soaring. And yes, also infrastructure needs. As a reminder, this morning, I saw a headline about the derailment of an Amtrak train that killed three people and injured about a hundred. Even where I live, I can see that public transit has utterly broken down. Republicans like Elise Stefanik trying to label Democrats as some sort of "Hamas Caucus" because there were nine dissenting votes is utterly ridiculous. There has been zero shaming of Republicans and some Democrats' failure to pass critical legislation.
  12. The entire video is actually almost 20 minutes, if memory serves me correctly. It is posted on The Real Daytime's YouTube channel. It was painful to watch. Ms. Hough had to leave the state where she was living because her family was getting threats and even they began to pressure her to recant her allegations. Then Nicki contacted her last year to try to bribe her to recant because her degenerate husband has to continue to register as a sex offender, listing his/her whereabouts (including home address--didn't homegirl consider this before she married him??). When Hough refused, more people approached her to take money, and also issuing threats. She's been through a lot.
  13. Giving this a signal boost since others may have missed it when I posted it on the previous page.
  14. Okay, this article explains the vote was passed with overwhelming yes votes, 420-9, so she could have voted no and it technically would've had no impact on the votes passage. Many of her liberal fans were upset that she didn't vote with the rest of "The Squad". This article suggested that she likely has higher political ambitions, and I tend to agree. She didn't want to register a vote that she could get nailed for down the political "road" (a la Sen. Hillary Clinton and Iraq), so she basically abstained. Unlike HRC, who has always been a moderate and fluid on a number of positions, AOC has always been vocal about her steadfast dedication to take certain political positions, so, in a way, she set herself up for this blowback, by setting her bar so un-negotiably high that anything less would be considered to be backing away from her avowed principles. https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-apologizes-after-tearful-present-vote-on-israel-iron-dome-funding-bill/ Also, this Iron Dome spending, worth a billion dollars, can pass but not another round of stimulus checks??!
  15. Okay, now this is shade, 😂.
  16. I wouldn't have wasted my oxygen on such a creature. It accomplished nothing, except giving her more "life" in the headlines, likely what she wanted. Pointless.
  17. When your president is pushing 80, it just doesn't seem wise to send the VP into an indoor setting, with a large cluster of people during a pandemic, imo.
  18. Going back and forth with Marjorie Taylor Greene, as some in Congress have done (e.g. that shouting match on the steps of the Capitol last week), may make for riveting political theater but it will only embolden MTG, it accomplishes little else.
  19. The alternative, doing nothing is even worse. It's exhausting to continually make reports but many people have had to do this until appropriate action is taken. Perhaps even encourage her constituents to help her put an end to it.
