  1. I think LVP, Kyle, and Rinna staged a plot to expose Yolanda (I don't have an opinion on Yolanda's Lyme) and then Rinna was left holding the bag and LVP and Kyle let her go down for it alone. I get why Rinna hates LVP, I just don't get how Kyle slithered out of that (and everything). She sorta copped to it but she and Rinna blamed LVP, who I no doubt think instigated it... but they all decided to do it and Rinna got talked in to doing the dirty work. It's the same story as Brandi and where there's smoke there's usually fire. But they always picked the dumbest s to "get" her on. But it's all over now, and like you said, LVP won with the (overwhelming) majority of the audience.
  2. LVP is obviously untouchable. Despite the BH Housewives' and Andy's spin, she has completely, totally, unquestionably won this show and I wonder if they know or delude themselves to buy the bs they're selling? I think the way to have actually taken her down (and who knows if anything could really touch Vanderpump's teflon booty) was Yolanda's Lyme disease, but then Rinna and Kyle would have implicated themselves in the plot to ruin Yolanda. I hope Rinna doesn't actually try to destroy Denise this year (everything is pointing to that, though) and further sully herself. Brandi obviously has learned nothing from her disgrace in seasons prior, lol.
  3. I have only watched since s5 (as a soap fan, I started for Rinna and Eileen)... everything earlier, I have only seen clips. From seasons 3-4, it was really sad to see Yolanda stage mom-ing Gigi and not letting her eat food. YIKES. From what I've seen of the Ken thing--he did put his hands on her and spoke disgustingly to her (like he's done about Rinna). I can't have have any sympathy for him because he somehow gets away with murder for being a truly vile, hateful little troll. But with that, "my husband..." comment, she really tipped her hand--she is not the humble earth mother she was pretending to be. She knows this fame and fortune game and she likes to think she's winning. I do think she plays much more gracefully than others, though. And she did bring such legitimacy to this franchise through her husband, later with her kids, her modeling career, and her style. She is the real deal. She and Vanderpump are such opposites, and they both envy what the other has, because it's exactly what they lack. In my opinion, everything about Lisa is garish and classless... you can look at Villa Rosa and compare it to Yolanda's Malibu house (or her new farm, or any of her other homes), and I think it speaks volumes about how different their aesthetics and presentation are. Lisa seemed very envious. But Yolanda was probably even more envious of how Lisa really enjoyed herself and effortlessly charms people (esp. men) and entertains with such ease and fun. I hope Yolanda is enjoying that amazing farm in Pennsylvania, because she always sort of tragically felt like she was struggling to have fun, despite her claims to the contrary. But she's with another rich guy, lolol. But I think she wants to be that humble earth mother, and it was lovely to see her with her family in Holland and her life is lifestyle porn. It was very heartless of Yolanda to publicly drop Brandi, though. Even if she thought she was a hot mess she didn't want to deal with anymore post-BH, she didn't have to publicly denounce her with all the other women. Her relationship with Erika was random, but actually helped them both and I'm curious how they felt about each other then and now.
  4. BH s5 is amazing. And because of Billie Reed, I'll always love Lisa Rinna... but if she's going to OWN IT, she should own that during that season, she full knowingly turned Kim's relapse into THE story on the show for years. Kim is responsible for herself (even if Kim doesn't think that), but Rinna point blank did that. She knows how reality tv works. And I know it's unpopular on here, but I really like Yolanda for the most part. It's hard for me to get excited about BH because I really don't like any of the women except for Rinna, and I don't like how snakey she is and I hate her home storyline with her daughters (more Harry and Lois!). I really enjoy Denise, though. I hope this is the year their ridiculous pact to protect each other (with everyone's lawsuits, etc.) ends. I hope we can count on a scorned Camille and thirsty Brandi for that. But I am not looking forward to the defenestration of Denise, who was the breakout star since Erika.
  5. Jennifer was SO overboard tonight. It was insane. I'm surprised she went wishy washy on the Melissa pregnancy segment because she gave zero f*cks about everything else she was saying... and she wiggled out of her obviously shady comment about Marge's parenting. Maybe somebody coached her to lay off the parenting stuff. This show has dangerously veered off into "what kind of family are YOU?" territory. Jennifer had me rofl when she unironically said she thought she was a very patient person. Those kind of ignorant, lack of self-awareness moments are amazing on all HW shows. But for as insufferable as she was, she was shutting down the other couch in a Caroline Manzo-esque effective ass way. Even Marge didn't know how to respond back to her, lol.
  6. Melissa (and Joey) tried to dismantle Teresa's entire life because they were jealous of her fame and Joey wanted lash out at his sister and parents on tv where any of then can rewind this stuff for the rest of their lives. Melissa & Joey successfully infiltrated Teresa's life and took most of her support, then disgustingly turned on all the people they enlisted to turn on her when Joey finally came to his senses that it was enough after Joe & Teresa wrecked their and their daughters' lives and Melissa decided it would suit her image to "let bygones be bygones." I hate them because of their overwhelming hypocrisy and how they cowardly threw away their cousins like garbage. And it was ultimately Jacqueline's fault for getting involved in someone else's family drama, but she turned on Teresa to defend Melissa to the death and Melissa didn't lift a finger for her in season 7. It was stunning. I do agree that Teresa owes her place as the star of NJ because of Bravo's decision to center the show around her family drama. Interesting but very true take.
  7. I agree that Danielle has the Facebook messages saved. Once Bravo and Teresa decided to stop the Gorga feud as the centerpiece of the show after "camp," Melissa got off so easy with everyone just "forgetting" about seasons 3-5. The only reason I can think why Jacqueline and Kathy aren't exposing her (because they have to know EVERYthing, esp. Kathy and Rosie) is because they'd be seriously implicating themselves in God knows what. And hopefully after everything, Kathy and Rosie don't want to further disrupt their broken family, esp. while Teresa&Joey1.0 (K&R's mom and Teresa & Joey's dad) are still alive. And Dina knows a lot more than she's saying, as we saw in the S6 reunion. But she likely wants to keep her self-proclaimed "moral high ground" and even more likely doesn't want Melissa to spill what she knows about her/Caroline/Chris. And unless she really blows her top sky high one day, Dolores isn't going to say anything. But Danielle has nothing left to lose--show the messages! But Danielle doesn't even have the later information like the others, though. After all these years as a viewer, I just really, really, really want Melissa to be exposed for the grimey, disloyal snake that she is. And I'm not a Teresa fan. This is just about justice, and show-wise, Melissa (and Joey) came out of this pretty unscathed while Teresa (and Joe) were characterized as very evil people and Jacqueline and Kathy ultimately lost all their face and their jobs. I wonder if Melissa even fully understands how lucky she is and how quickly she could still lose everything??
  8. Anything with Danielle in the first two years was very, very sad. S2 Posche fashion show is stunning. It's easy to overlook her, but from the beginning of that confrontation after there was no turning back, you can see Jacqueline come into the side of the frame to back up Teresa with that "her house is not in foreclosure!" and then she follows them... and then the "I read your court records Danielle!... that you beat someone with a 9 millimeter pistol..." And then when she's folding her arms across her chest outside of the car!!! And Daniel's hysterically screaming and crying on 911, "and Jacqueline Laurita's WAITIN' for me owtside mYY car!" And notice how she refers to Ashlee as "Jacqueline Laurita's daughter" to the police. OMG s2 gives me life!!! But I overlooked how harrowing it all was (for Danielle and what it said about all of them as people) and it laid the groundwork for the sicko show NJ became from seasons 3-5, and even season 6 with those ratchet twins and demonic Jim & Amber. I really enjoy Margaret. I kinda didn't like her at first because Siggy self destructed like a very defective robot because of her... but that was on Siggy and her weird, ultimately fragile self-image she felt she had to maintain (still love Siggy, though). But The Marge is so fun, but she misguidedly aligned herself with Danielle in the first place and problems follow her wherever she goes. Usually at a certain point, that stops being coincidence.
  9. Joe & Teresa have been exploiting their family for $$ for a long, long time... remember all that magazine sh!t? It's unfortunately probably the only way they've gotten out of their horrible legal/financial mess. Teresa is going to need to keep hustling to put her daughters through college, maintain their lifestyle, and God knows what Joe will try to "negotiate" if and when they get divorced. But no one in that whole Gorga family is any better. These are people who wrecked their whole family on/for television. Seasons 3-5 are heartbreaking, and more than the christening or retreat, the scene that really stays with me is Tre & Ro screaming about their parents in that bar. Teresa, Melissa, Kathy, and their families have no scruples.
  10. LOLOL about Kim D.!!!!! I think Danielle is a psychopath--she well proved that in s2. But there is something SO tragic about her. I do think that she experienced really deep pain at losing Jacqueline in s2 and she was bullied by Dina (the real b*tch on this show), Caroline, and Teresa... but she mishandled everything, including sorta kinda threatening to KILL them at some point. OMFG lol. But I question her authenticity since her return. She's had real moments come through a lot, but she's definitely playing for the cameras. But the Marge falling out has been like watching a multiple car crash with fatalities on the freeway. Wow. There is more to Margaret than HW is showing.
  11. It's mind blowing. But Teresa and Danielle becoming friends after seasons 1 & 2 was... I can't even articulate how WTF that was. Danielle is stupid again, though, for leaving and letting them off the hook essentially. She foolishly thinks she's set with Marty's house and she'll use Housewives to launch a successful cooking career. She won't and she'll be as desperate as she was in seasons 1-2 until she married Marty. I think Danielle is certifiable, but I feel bad for how down and out she always becomes.
  12. Wow, Tre. Lol. This show has evolved into something very nice--it's not the life-destroying, scum bag stuff that came to define this show... but it's not just fluff, either. The women are equally contemptible and super relatable. Even the newbies are satisfyingly complex... Jennifer is a thirsty tryhard who lives in a disgusting wealth bubble, but that's balanced with her really lovely, relatable family life. And Jackie is a sour puss killjoy who also seems to be crippled by her privilege, but those eating disorder scenes are raw. This show is very well-rounded and Danielle brings the crazy housewives drama (don't know how they're gonna make due without that next year). But the vets remain problematic... Tre is Tre at this point, I guess. And I LOVE Dolores, but she can be very unreasonable and angry, and it goes unanswered for. And I can't help but think Margaret has some hardcore shady life stuff happening that's not brought to light. And when is Melissa's day of reckoning gonna come?!? For whatever reasons, Jacqueline, Caroline, and KATHY & ROSIE are keeping quiet about her... but I hope Danielle will finally tell all at the reunion.
  13. Ouch after this week 😭😭😭 I remember at some point shortly after this, Adrienne calls Jack to tell him she had her baby and named him, Jackson, after him. This never gets brought up now. 🤦‍♂️
  14. I understand that this is the second time Danielle has been the victim of a mob type (as Kelly Bensimon would say) "systematic bullying," but she can't get away with this after the Ashlee thing. And this is the same woman who made those "veiled" threats in season 2. Hopefully she's not actually dangerous, but maybe she's not full time because Bravo finds her an insurance liability? She said on the after show that the other women should stfu about her because she carries a lot of secrets... hope she's referring to that garbage can, Melissa.
  15. I was thrilled to see Vicky implode. I think she's a truly vile person and she shockingly got what was coming to her after all these years (usually evil people like that don't suffer such a humiliating public fall from grace). And to think I felt sorry for her from a professional standpoint during parts 1 & 2. I get that what production did to her was shady af after what she contributed to the network, but this all couldn't have happened to a more deserving POS. When is it gonna be Tamra's turn?? Lol.
  16. Kelly can be hella funny, but she is literally out of her mind. No one is black or white, but she actually thinks she is a normally functioning person when she's a human wrecking ball. She has zero self control and I'm waiting for her to lose her temper and get violent. She's Tamra x10. But I don't think she's wicked like Tamra or Vicky... Kelly indiscriminately lashes out in all directions because she can't restrain herself. Tamra and Vicky have deep, plotted desires to destroy people's lives and nothing gives them greater satisfaction. Kelly is a cracked, rotten egg, but she's not THAT. Shannon, otoh... I don't even know where to start with that wacko. She is a spoiled, self-obsessed IDIOT who doesn't know anything about anything but can't shut her disgusting mouth. One of the most offensive things I've ever seen on one of these shows was when Tamra said she was hysterically crying because she didn't know you had to pay for water while David was giving her, like, over $20 grand a month in child/spousal support (and she has her Bravo and family money). Shannon is the problem. F this ignorant, disgusting narcissist. BUT she puts it all out there--she may be the most authentic housewife, and the fool can't even see what an idiotic nutjob she casts herself as. She is pitiable. It's hard to hate someone so clueless and sad. These four deserve every bad thing that hopefully comes their way for the rest of their lives. And even though I assume NY, NJ, and BH lean a certain way in today's political and social landscape, OC's cast has always been shockingly disgusting with their politics and "values." Thank GOD that piece of sh!t Lydia is gone. How she got out unscathed out of Bravo is mind boggling.
  17. Fair enough. Maybe Marlo's event was "fake," but it really puts in question the legitimacy of the businesses on this show then. But if something like this happened on NY, NJ, OC, or BH (I don't watch POT or DALLAS), it wouldn't just be laughed off. I think Kelly Dodd is a psycho and should be fired as she is a serious liability. She's even more out of control than BH's Brandi. And even though a lot of these women are unbelievable and I watched the very REAL life obliterating carnage that was NJ seasons 3-5, I still maintain the opinion that OC's Vicky and Tamra are the two most evil garbage person housewives out of the shows I watch. If Hell is real, there is a very special place reserved there just for them. And I know lines get crossed all the time (BH is a weird case as none of them truly pull the trigger), but ATL feels different me... there don't seem to be any relationships that last and the fallings out seem to be all about hate, not love, hurt, or even betrayal (except Kandi and Phaedra--that was insane). Even the bat s stuff with Vicky/Tamra and Teresa/Jacqueline has so much unbridled emotion behind it. For instance, I don't see that with Nene and her conflicts with Kim or Porsha, any of the times it's fallen apart.
  18. I'm not very familiar with ATL... I watch a few episodes a year and keep up with the big drama, but I've only seen season 1 in its entirety lol. But I have the gist on all the women and their histories... I watched this week's episode and despite what a hateful b Marlo has been, what Kenya did was unbelievable... tv show or not, she derailed someone's business launch and tried to steal customers?!? More than even NJ, the 'wives on this show seem to have absolutely no personal or professional boundaries with each other and are not adequately held accountable for it. MIND BLOWING.
  19. CoD is sooo good. Richard Allen & Anne Schoettle's hw tenure gets mixed reviews--I think their "Days" was as realistic and dark as this show gets... but events like CoD and Alamania really paid tribute to the adventures that defined the '80s. Jack & Jennifer are my fav. couple, though, so obviously I'm biased. In 2006, Anne Schoettle wrote the script for Jack & Jennifer's farewell and Claire's paternity reveal. It's so interesting to see her writing for familiar characters like J&J, S&K, B&H, Maggie, Jo, Vern, and Alice juxtaposed with the long-awaited Philip/Belle/Shawn/Mimi fallout.
  20. Oh gosh I read Blanca too quickly and jumped to Rosa! Lolol.
  21. I agree. I think Yolanda fell out with the audience when she showed her cards that she was anti-LVP. Then with the Brandy/Kim alliance and how shockingly inarticulate she was about her Lyme... she was sunk. I'm suspicious of her (esp. with the way she marries and divorces), but give her the benefit of the doubt mostly... I think she suffered from a real language barrier (and probably a very real break with reality). But what she did deliver was a glimpse into REAL wealth, power, and celebrity in LA. It's a shame they didn't show more of Eileen's home and work life, because she also had a lot to share as a working actress with a husband from a famous Hollywood family with hot, young stepsons lol. They should be getting this out of Rinna but she's a little too thirsty for it to come off as authentic as it may actually be. And Erika in that big ass mausoleum in Pasadena isn't bringing this lol. I didn't know they were trying to sell. Despite how I feel about them, while I think the lot is so special, the house is . . . it just doesn't feel like a home, with those glass office building doors and LVP's garish style... then with the landscaping and animals... it's like a crazy, tacky theme park. But I'm sure it cost them a fortune and I'd understand why they wouldn't want to settle.
  22. It felt like Rinna had all the receipts to level LVP and Yolanda, but she got scared about alienating the audience, which had happened anyway. Lol. You could see that Eileen was disappointed she didn't commit to exposing the "truth." It was all a mess. And Yolanda was weirdly vindicated and the last scene of the season was post-shot to frame that year as her journey??? But I actually liked Yolanda--maybe she was fake and nutty, but I don't think she revels in being malicious like LVP. Yolanda was just pathologically jealous of her and did not know how to get a hold of those emotions.
  23. I understand why Rinna won't let it go with LVP... I 100% believe that LVP "suggested" that Rinna defame Yolanda on camera and then when Rinna realized she was left holding the bag solo, she turned on her. She saw things for exactly as they were--LVP and Yolanda stopping at nothing to ruin each other. Kyle all but confirmed the stupid Munchausen crap but LVP STILL got away with lying about it. Meanwhile Ken was spitting out profanities nonstop about Rinna and Eileen... you know who didn't do that to/about LVP? Harry Hamlin or Vinny Van Patten. Because they're not pigs. It's crazy to me how teflon Lisa & Ken are. But I can't argue that Rinna is her own worst enemy. That crap with Dorit was just beyond, then "forgetting" she said that about Kim... even in the beginning, when she claims she was helping Kim... she knows this medium well--Rinna knew what she was really doing was making a storyline out of Kim falling off the wagon. She really suffered last season without Eileen... it was clear no one wanted to film with her lolol. The only actually interesting thing that happened was off-camera with Kyle running into Harry with him wanting to keep Rinna and Kim separated. Which, btw, I do think was out of line for Harry. But it doesn't come close to the sh!t Ken says.
  24. He gets away with murder. He is a vile, disgusting, misogynistic creep. The sh!t that comes out of his mouth to the other hws, to their face or behind their backs, is horrible. On a show like OC for example, the husbands/boyfriends are held crazy accountable, as they should be... but Ken is coming out with profanities and character defamation like he's Tamra Judge or Kelly Dodd and he's never held accountable. I don't agree with the other hws' feeble and childish attempts to take down LVP, but it's clear to me that she and her husband are awful c u next Tuesday's that hide behind their British accents and tacky af over-the-top lifestyle to hide their utter treachery. Irl they may have really redeeming qualities, but on this show they're real pieces of work. And on pump rules, they both better get wise to the fact that those kids are making the show and generating immeasurable tourist interest in the restaurants.
  25. I think LuAnn/Carole/Adam is gold and the show prefers to overexpose whatever conflict Bethenny is involved in. "Not the sharpest tool in the shed" Kristen called it in the beginning that Carole better explain her and Adam to Lu before things get messy. Heather was blindly (and, to a point, wrongly) defending Carole because that situation was legit complicated. Carole was spending weekends with LuAnn in the Hamptons and had gone out with Nicole, who was totally heartbroken over breaking up with Adam. Then after the first week of filming, Carole meets Adam and starts dating him and mentions nothing to LuAnn. LuAnn had a lot of reasons to at least need clarification on what Carole was doing and why, and she had a right to be protective of her niece (who she's extremely close with) who was understandably shocked and hurt that Adam moved on with a hw and filmed it (so many implications there). But LuAnn was dead wrong . . . she attacked Carole's character, called her a pedophile and demeaned Adam by constantly referring to him as "the help" and boy toy. And Adam seemed to basically be part of her family and was very important to Noel. And up to this season, LuAnn still dismisses their relationship as a "fling." Like Adam or not (and I think there's enough reason to at least be suspicious of him), he and Carole were together for years and had a much more serious relationship than LuAnn's sham with Tom. And LuAnn wouldn't take kindly to one of the other hws referring to her Jacques as some light May/December fling. They were together for as long as Carole and Adam were. And LuAnn really went after Adam echoing B's concern that he was an "operator" and accused him of using her and Nicole, all the while sponging off her sleeping on the couch in Sag Harbor. I get why Carole wanted to defend him and set the record straight . . . but in the process, she aired family secrets that involved a teenage Noel. Not a good look. Two wrongs don't make a right. I still don't get why or how Carole and Bethenny became besties . . . but I hope Bethenny started turning on her because she was hurt/jealous that Carole was spending so much time with Tinsley and she was afraid their friendship would fizzle. But if B started passive-aggressively slandering C for a STORYLINE, she's even more morally depraved than I already thought. But C attacked every aspect of B's life in her blogs, which is wrong and hopefully it won't be a "get out of jail free" card for B. Admittedly, by the time season 3 started filming, "fame" had completely ruined Jill Zarin and turned her into a pretty ugly person . . . but I get why she felt abandoned and betrayed by B. B used her not only in real life, but in reality life to bolster her popularity which led to all her opportunities. B left J in the dust and it's kinda horrifying. It was lovely to see them reunite this year, but B might've done that for cameras and she still doesn't want to resume an actual relationship with her. That was brutally painful to watch all those years ago. That was the defining breakup of all these shows, not Vicky & Tamara, NeNe & Kim, or Teresa & Jacqueline (though this one might be a close second). So sad to hear about LuAnn . . . hopefully she just relapsed after this lawsuit and she hasn't been lying about being sober. Sad to think she might have an out of control substance problem.
