I Am A Swede

Dear Lord, I just saw some clips from Trump's speech in North Carolina, and he's absolutely insane.

Heather Tom also got an Emmy nomination very shortly after joining B&B as a recast, and she's still around. So I don't really buy that either. It feels like an attempt to pin the blame for Allen's departure on KKL. (I think we all realize that she's the veteran actress they're referring to.)

Unfortunately I think that even if Harris beat Trump in the same manner that Reagan won the 1984 election over Mondale, he and his cronies would still scream that it was rigged and claim that they were cheated out of a win.

I feel that B&B has an unfair reputation. Yes, it's been bad for a number of years now (with some occasional bright spots), but what seems to be overlooked is that for many years it was a solid, good soap.

You know, I was actually happy that they were adding a new Sugden to the show, wary but happy. But I should have known that this show would continue to disappoint me... Strange how you never learn, isn't it. They might as well have made John's mother another Dingle, because he fits right into that mold. They could still have him hook up with Aaron, which obviously was their plan from the start. I mean, inbreeding is nothing new to the Dingle clan anyway. They thrive on it. There's just nothing in it for me anymore. It breaks my heart a little, but I have to let this show go. I might keep up a little through recaps and spoilers, but I'm not going to invest any more into it. Farewell Emmerdale (Farm). It was a good run, but, just like in one of your own storylines right now, one can only take a certain amount of crap before it's enough. And I have now reached my limit. Annie, Amos, Joe, Jack, Grandad, Henry, Matt, Dolly, Jackie, Kathy, Seth and the others will always be with me in memory, and I thank all the deities that they're all gone so their memories will be unspoiled.

If Trump continues to implode the way he's doing, then maybe there is a slight chance to win over some of his less fanatical followers. I just can't believe that more than 40% of the U.S. population are that stupid, so there must be room to gain some ground there.
