  1. It's not necessarily that she would have something valuable to say, but she is Steffy's mother, and she has a history with Sheila, so her absence is a little glaring. Not that it's unusual for Taylor to be absent when her children are in any kind of crisis. That has been the case for the last 10 years or so.
  2. People usually just blame the character they don't like.
  3. Now let me see if I can get this straight.... 😵‍💫 Brooke Logan Forrester Forrester Chambers Forrester Forrester Jones Forrester Forrester Forrester Marone Forrester Forrester Forrester Spencer Forrester (B&B) Granted, a lot of these were annulled or declared invalid, but still....
  4. Maybe it's petty of me, but putting Robert Scott Wilson in this promo really annoys me. I know he's playing a Kiriakis now, but....
  5. He probably feels a kinship with Liam. Jumping between two women like Liam is doing is something Ridge has done for decades.
  6. I just wonder if Brad Bell really thinks that this writing is making Liam look good? Can he really be that clueless? I know that subtlety has never been his forte, but Liam is really being written quite insufferable right now.
  7. Fixed! The elephant in the room, which many have already pointed out, is the absence of Taylor. She would bring so much to this story, being both a victim of Sheila, and someone who tried to give her the benefit of the doubt.
  8. Yes, that makes a lot of sense. And the comparison I made with B&B is of course not really fair. Brad Bell can't compare with Doug Marland as a writer, and B&B is a very different show than ATWT. But it's the show I'm most familiar with.
  9. Oh I know the story and evolution of Barbara's character, and I'm sure it had more impact watching the show as a whole back then. But I just saw very little bitchiness from her in those clips. No real catty remarks, no innuendos, nothing like that. Even a goody two-shoes like Taylor on B&B was bitchier than that, even at the height of her saintly phase.
  10. Maybe I've been de-sensitized over the years, but if those really were her bitchiest moments then she wasn't really much of a vixen/bitch at all. I've seen so called heroines behave much worse.
  11. I wonder if Brad Bell secretly hates all his characters? At least he writes them like he does. Or is he just that completely clueless? 🤔 I used to think that KKL had it worst, trying to act out Brooke's stories in a way that made sense, but Scott Clifton has it way worse than she ever had. The writing for Liam is so ridiculous I'm amazed Scott can say his lines without cracking up.
  12. I know that Bill has done some questionable things over the years, but in comparison with Sheila he's an amateur. I can understand being a fan of Finn/Steffy and not liking Liam, but it feels like people are downplaying Sheila's crimes in order to keep Finn from looking completely idiotic. Sheila has spent the last 30 years terrorizing and tormenting, and even killing, countless people. Her crime spree includes stolen babies, kidnapping, shooting, poisoning, blackmail and attempted murder. She's a complete lunatic and Finn is looking like a lunatic himself for suggesting that Steffy should even remotely entertain the idea of having her in their life in any way, shape or form.
  13. Finn has opened a door into their lives for the lunatic who almost killed both him and Steffy just over a year ago. A lunatic who shot and almost killed both Steffy's mother and her grandmother, almost killed the woman Finn has called mother his whole life and held Steffy's grandparents and father (alongside others) hostage at gunpoint and threatened to kill all of them. And that's just a sample of her misdeeds. No, Steffy is not being harsh to Finn. And any mistakes she has made pales in comparison with this. I see people bringing up the fact that Steffy hasn't told Finn about Liam kissing her twice recently. But there are some major differences. First, Steffy did not initiate, nor encourage Liam's kisses, and she has made it clear to him that she's not interested in him that way. Second, however annoying Liam might be, he is not a murderous, psychopathic killer. He poses no threat to the lives and/or well-being of anyone, quite unlike Sheila, who has a list of victims that is into double digits, and still growing.
