  1. See, to me she'll always be Nora, Greg's wife in A Very Brady Christmas . And yeah, she does kind of look like a non-Latina version of FloLo.

  3. NBC called it a little while ago, the Huffington Post is saying it too (there's a live election feed on their website--I'm listening to it now). So frustrated about Wisconsin tonight. I mean, it's expected, but frustrating. Gah.
  4. Joan appearing on one of my favorite shows on earth (and in one of its best seasons!). "I'M a bitch?! Well, I bow to the Queen of all Bitches!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1RZpQRrqI4

  8. Even better: They were on another episode, too. Awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlvMg-etnME&feature=plcp
  9. So happy to find this on Fiona's birthday on all days: An episode from One Life to Live Week on Match Game 90 with Karen Witter and Fiona Hutchison! Apparently Jo Anne Worley was a OLTL fan. Cool!
  10. So sad . http://www.huffingto...&comm_ref=false
  11. That's how I feel about Kassie DePaiva. 51? Unreal.
  12. Ten years ago today, Live Week began on OLTL. I was a little 13 year old seventh grader at the time and I loved every minute of that week. Where did all the time go? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JCjw1V_Clc
  13. LOVE that shot of their wedding! There was an old SOW (I think) article (they were on the cover!) on Fiona Fest where I believe Paul Rauch said that the show was going to wait about a year before marrying them, but the audience was so vocal about them getting married that they finally just went ahead and did it.

  15. JDP looks exactly the same. I miss seeing him on TV .
  16. Kassie just announced on her Facebook page that she just got a part in a movie called We Are What We Are. YAY! And she'll be lunching with Robin Strasser, too. She just celebrated her birthday .
  17. I guess one of the last things he did (along with Wanda, for that matter) was tend to Al & CJ once they were rescued from that fall they took in July 1993. He was also Al's doctor when he died .
  18. From what I've seen, James DePaiva has primarily been involved in theater since leaving OLTL, which is great, of course (especially since he's done theater outside of NYC--he should TOTALLY do a play in DC or Baltimore! ), but I do wish he'd pop up on TV again. He directed episodes of ATWT, too. Actually, I REALLY think THE BAY should cast him, you know, just because .
  19. The one thing that makes this particularly interesting (to me, at least) is that the DNC this year is being held in Charlotte, whose state just upheld an amendment banning same sex marriage.
  20. WHOA! http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/05/09/11621156-obama-backs-same-sex-marriage?lite

  22. The end of an era has come to Indiana: http://nbcpolitics.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/05/08/11604125-nbc-news-projects-lugar-defeated-in-indiana-primary?lite Senator Lugar has been a true statesman, not to mention the longest serving GOP Senator. To go from being unopposed in 2006 to this--what a turnaround. As a Democrat, however, I'm not gonna lie--bring on Joe Donnelly! I wish we could have someone a little bit more liberal (where is Birch Bayh when you need him?--Actually, he's living on the Eastern Shore of my homestate of Maryland now--very cool!), but I'm ready for a real race here.

  24. It's crazy to think that Lugar could lose. I was thinking about this when Evan Bayh announced he was retiring and Dan Coats decided to run again in 2010: When I was born in Indiana in 1989, Evan Bayh had just become Governor a month before, Richard Lugar had been there since 1976 (well, he took office in 1977), and Dan Coats was appointed to fill Dan Quayle's seat--and by 2010, Evan Bayh was a Senator in Coats' old seat, Coats was running for the seat that he gave up because he felt he couldn't compete against Bayh in 1998, and Lugar was STILL in office! The more things change, the more they stay the same, huh? Of course, where I live now in Maryland, it's people like Barbara Mikulski, Steny Hoyer, and Ben Cardin who have been around as long as I've been alive (indeed, longer). But of course, Maryland is quite different from Indiana. I know that.
