I loved her getting to mix it up with multiple people today. Other than that, yawn. Carly is truly on five days a week and involved in everything and it's just too much. And now we're really blaming Nina for Jason's death? SMH. Let's move on. Scott and Leisl are fun.

No drama hospital strikes again. Brando and Sasha wanting Millow to be the godparents was a total WTF and had me scratching my head. Why would they not go the obvious dramatic route where Brando wants Sonny to be the godfather and Sasha wants Nina to be the godmother? SMH.

Tbh the only people I've seen perpetuating this rumor are diehard EJami stans who are threatened by Lucas.

Kyle Lowder has never been my type but I agree that he's looking good. I'm glad that Rex is back and that we can make some progress with the Sarah stuff. Xander and Gwen have been together for two seconds, so she looks really stupid trying to hang onto him so desperately. Gabi and Jake looked like clowns with Victor. Jake is nothing but Gabi's lap dog at this point. He has no life besides following her around. I wish we could actually see EJ and Chad working together instead of just hearing about all the DiMera boardroom drama.

Perhaps Wes should be a silent actor. Every single line is delivered so bizarrely. I hate how he draws out the end of every word. It doesn't make it dramatic, he just sounds stupid. I was happy to see the teens today but was annoyed that nothing really happened in their scenes. Okay, they're talking about the trip again. Boring. Seeing as this story hasn't been featured in two or three weeks (whenever the art exhibit was), I was hoping for some actual story movement today. Is anyone going to bring up the fact that Spencer is awaiting trial and was told not to leave town? How is this trip supposed to work? Does the show even remember that Spencer has a trial coming up? I am tired, tired, tired of all the Jason talk already. So much boo-hooing from the whole town. This is exactly why I dreaded SB leaving. Everyone in town has completely forgotten that Jax existed; let's do the same with Jason. I can't take Carly and the rest of the Corinthos clan mourning him every day. Michael's hair is so tragic. And Michael in general. I want him recast more than any other character on daytime.

So basically this movie is an alternate reality and not at all canon. How fun! Gabi/Nick has me excited. And EJ/Nicole/Sydney! Zach Tinker! John and Kristen in matching Christmas sweaters. Leo/Xandy!!!

Totally agree that Maxie needs a rest. Her stories aren't interesting to me at all. I didn't mind her with Nathan. But I don't think the show really knows what to do with her, so she just keeps popping out babies. On what planet did Maxie need three kids? And she doesn't raise any of them. Spinelli might as well adopt James, lol. Maxie's pairings are never particularly interesting either and now for some reason they're throwing her at 50+ year old men. Maybe next we'll get a chem test with Finn.

I loved Eli's line about dousing Marlena in holy water. I agree that the possession story has gotten better. Not that it's amazing writing, but there are entertaining moments. It was rough in the beginning because they were only showing it like once a week. Remember when we had the cliffhanger of Marlena getting re-possessed and then they didn't show her again for like a week? lol The Brady Pub is obviously open since Chloe got food there. How did nobody see Philip attack Brady and drag his body around in broad daylight? Gotta say that I feel bad for Philip (and Phloe) fans. Talk about character assassination.

These Maxie/Drew scenes are whack. No viewer seems to recall them having any kind of relationship, much less a close one. James is going to be excited to see Drew? Huh? How can they write that Scout doesn't remember her father in one episode and then say that James, who is nobody to Drew, will be excited to see him in the next? Silly. Also silly is Drew not immediately telling Maxie that Peter has the ability to control him. Stupid! I'm assuming today was a chem test for Drew and Maxie. Is Maxie no longer allowed to be with men under the age of 50? (Not that CM doesn't look great.) Can we test her with Brando or something? He's cute and Johnny Wactor has been good in this baby story. Austin/Peter scenes? This show clearly hates its audience. Two buffoons together. Wow, Wes Ramsey is awful. There is no nice way to put it. Every single line is delivered ridiculously and over the top. Julliard needs to take this clown's degree away. Who the hell was asking for Peter to be involved in the Sonny/Carly/Nina story? Why is Austin performing blood draws on patients? Does GH not have any phlebotomists on staff? The guards walk away from Peter simply because he and Nina ask them to? Yeah, that's realistic. Can the writers please put the crack pipe down? Why didn't they show Monica today? It was weird having that one-sided phone call with her and Carly. I like seeing Britt in doctor mode. Damn, she and Carly are probably gonna be besties soon. I guess I prefer this to Carly screeching about how she wishes Jason had never met Britt. I'm over crybaby Valentin!

Not related to Sprina, but the show doesn't seem super invested in Joss/Cam together. They don't really write for them and they haven't had any story since getting together. Now I can see them perhaps preferring Joss to Trina just as individual characters, but the writing doesn't give me the impression that they think that Cam and Joss are the next big thing.

Ben and Ciara go on the run... to the cabin. Genius! LOL. Yes, I actually watched Ben and Ciara's scenes today because of MarDevil! I truly don't understand why they brought JKJ back just to do this to Philip. Seriously, what the heck? Also, please stop showing that flashback of him making constipated faces after tearing the tree down. 😂 "Tamara never meant to deceive you." LOL she lied about Lani's paternity AND maternity! Whoopsie! Does James Reynolds actually need the cane now or is this just supposed to be Abe recovering still? Not that it matters but I just noticed Abe using it again today. I liked the John/Paulina scenes. "I should've done more research before I moved to Salem" LOL They remembered that Tate (aka Tater Tot apparently) exists today.

Sorry, I get bitchy sometimes 😑 I didn't mind Esme being inserted into Joss and Cam's orbit as they needed a third party and some shaking up far more than Trina and Spencer ever did. Joss and Cam have had zero story since getting together and all they do is make out at Kelly's. Esme has been shifted back into Trina's orbit recently, confronting her at the gallery and then of course all the hi-jinks at the art exhibit, which Joss was noticeably absent from. And based on the video about Genie's return, Joss is once again absent from whatever Christmas activities the other teens are doing. I mean, I don't mind one bit that Joss is MIA, it's just a bit odd since they usually love to showcase her whenever they can, just like her mother. I know Eden is crazy busy as well. It is probably hard to coordinate everyone's college schedules. I don't know how Sydney Mikayla is managing everything - that girls stays booked and busy. She's got a new magazine cover every week. I do think it's good that they're getting an education because like someone said, GH won't be around forever. I actually really like this teen set and it sucks because I know they're all going to bolt eventually. Nick Chavez is the only one not in school but I'd be stunned if he stayed once his three-year contract is up. Onto the actual episode, which was far less interesting than the teen cast going to college... 😂 Spare me with these Carly/Sonny/Drew scenes. Carly and Sonny kicked Drew to the curb the second Jason returned and never looked back. They didn't give one f-ck about him! I don't think they even had any interaction with him in the months leading up to his disappearance. But now that Jason is gone, they act like they care and that they're so happy he's back. Can Drew go see Liz's kids? He was a great father figure/uncle to them. Jason just died and they really have Sam talking about how happy she is. They're really twisting the knife for the JaSam fans. Maybe the Liz/Liason fans shouldn't be too upset that Liz isn't getting any sort of point of view, lol. Also, Drew/Maxie? WTF? I can only assume that this is a chem test because I don't recall them having any history? I don't know that I've seen anyone clamoring for Drew and Maxie to interact, but okay. I'd personally rather see Drew get tested with Britt. Perhaps they realized that Austin/Maxie is an epic fail. Honestly, at this point I think I'm ready to just go back to Maxie and Spinelli. I figured that was the whole reason they broke him and Ellie up. The actors are doing a nice job with the Brando/Sasha stuff. This baby honestly is really pointless so I do wonder if he'll make it. Liam is a good name. The big bad Valentin Cassadine sure is a whiny crybaby lately, lol. I love Chase's airtime lately. Keep this man on my screen five days a week.

The teen story in general has been MIA recently, it's not necessarily specific to Sydney/Trina. It could be that it's hard for the show to work around 4 different college schedules and/or they're distracted by writing for Jason's death storyline and their shiny new Drew.

Of course these teens are all going to leave eventually. Most teen actors on soaps do. You don't have to be a psychic to figure that out. Nobody was throwing a tantrum over that grand prediction. Lord. 4/5 of the teens are in college and it's not because they plan on staying on GH forever.

Yeah, I don't know if it's a matter of 4 out of the 5 teens being in college in real life, or just because we now have to devote airtime to things like Jason's death, but the teens have been MIA recently. Joss finding out about Jason was the first time we had seen her in 3 or 4 weeks. Up until yesterday, we hadn't seen any of the others in two weeks. There's just no momentum on this show. What happened to their weekend getaway? Spencer's trial? How are we supposed to invest in any of the stories when some of them are featured so sporadically? Are we supposed to be into Liz and Finn who are on two days a month? Brando and Sasha who disappear for weeks at a time? But we have time for a Jarly montage.
