The Intercept dipshits are also trying to strongarm Biden about doing Rogan's debate. I wish these mentally ill, racist-enabling pricks could just go away. Speaking of pricks:

Thanks for finding that. @dc11786 filling us in about the Deborah/Steffi backstory helps make that conversation between Deborah and Clay richer. I have to admit I find her more interesting as a colorful schemer, but it's nice to see NAA get a chance to act. Michael Weatherly and Amelia Heinle really did have terrific chemistry. That the brewing conflict in Steffi is character-based and believable makes it more compelling. The Alex and Ava conflict, while well-acted, is not compelling as it feels false. It mostly just tired me out. The Gilbert/Jeremy scenes were more interesting than I expected, however.

Pathetic. Washington Post is no better than New York Times.

Greenwald now spends his time shilling on Tucker Carlson, supporting men like Aaron Coleman, and doing a podcast with incredibly toxic figures like Virgil Texas and Brie Brie Joy. Everything about him is so offputting yet he just gets one pass after another.

As someone said, Bill Janklow redux. Yet they continue to elect Republicans anyway, including the dead-eyed hack who wants to put Trump on Mount Rushmore. I hope that Andrew Gillum has a happy life, and I hope his wife can also find her own happy life or can forgive him; I am also sorry his privacy was violated in such a disgusting manner. But I don't think I can take any more politicians coming out solely because they were caught behaving in dangerous ways or breaking the law. A lot of people are just looking for a reason to vote for Trump, or have already decided to and can just use this as cover. It's going to be a razor-thin election, and we're going to have a very hard time getting through it, whatever happens.

I agree, although we are now moving to the point where Trump and his allies like Roger Stone are openly talking about declaring victory and using force even if he loses. And the media will likely back him up.

It's incredibly predictable, yet incredibly infuriating, that the media is happily pushing the GOP narrative that tries to say Biden is no better than Trump on COVID response or that he is even worse. So much of the media hates us and they hate this country, and I hope if Biden is elected he has people who will finish the job of crushing our current media culture that Trump has started.- All My Children Tribute Thread

Wasn't it a combo of the Merrill/Roger affair story not clicking and Patricia getting her hair cut without asking permission?- The Politics Thread
How sad that a very conservative Republican has to say this when many "progressives" like Jeet Heer are pushing the fantasy of Trump being an anti-war candidate.- Coronavirus/Covid-19 Discussion Thread

That would make sense. Glad you got to see it. I can see why some felt that Shannon shouldn't have been recast. She seems less generic than Callan White. Bryan Cranston is a real spark plug. You can see why he became a star.- Loving/The City Discussion Thread
Oh I didn't know Harvey did that. Is the parody any good? I'd read about Rita Mae but never seen her. Generally the Opal-esque offshoots on other soaps didn't seem to work out (Nadine from GL may be an exception).- Loving/The City Discussion Thread
@victoria foxton @dc11786 @Elsa @SFK @Vee @DeliaIrisFan @Paul Raven @slick jones (sorry to anyone I didn't get) Not sure if these have already been around but someone has uploaded the first two episodes...and holy hell, the first episode has a lengthy introduction by Dorothy Lyman! I had never heard about that. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3jUaUwwBf1UGEswAYEjJJQ- Guiding Light Discussion Thread
I may be wrong but I could swear Tina Sloan said at one point that GL planned to pair Lillian/Ed after Maureen's death, but the backlash was so vociferous that they realized it couldn't happen. So, combined with the "psycho Eve" story and the Mindy/Nick pairing tanking, I wonder if they put two and two together.- The Politics Thread
I'm not sure if we should start some type of conspiracy thread to keep this one clear, but this stuff demoralizes me so much - and it's just growing and growing, no matter what happens in November. At one time I would have said it should be ignored, but it can't be.- Guiding Light Discussion Thread
Buzz also had his share of story with Roger (during the Jenna/Roger marriage from hell) and later Holly (that weird "let's put characters together if they're the same age and we don't want to write for them" triangle she had with Buzz and Billy). I thought Peter Simon did a good job with Maureen's death and with the later Eve relationship, but I wouldn't have been outraged if he'd been recast.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I guess they have an audience, I'm sure they have their share of social media support, but I don't understand exactly what the appeal of that coven is at this point. I used to think Kyle, when I watched, was pretty interesting (more because of what she didn't let herself be acknowledged as than because of the image she tried to present oncamera), but I get the feeling she had some questionable facework done before this past season and that's made it difficult to watch her. Rinna, someone I used to respect, is just pretty much repulsive, especially exploiting her children the way she does. Teddi and Erika just seem to take up space while pretending they are more than they are.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Thank you for letting me know. I'm glad they had such kind words for her. She was truly special. That is likely the closest we will get to a tribute for Zoe.- The Politics Thread
So it seems that Susan Page, upcoming debate moderator, has ties to the administration. Shocking!- RIP: In Memoriam Thread
This one hurts I still remember how traumatized I was after seeing On Her Majesty's Secret Service as a child. Such a charismatic, gorgeous, unbelievably talented actress - a true delight who made the screen sparkle. - The Media/Journalism Thread
