Recovering lost films and TV shows
Thankfully, she also understands the rarity/fragility of the gift she was given and is donating the reel to the Library of Congress. I hope it's salvageable.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Jon Sen has been a very C-level showrunner. It's passable, but not at all fulfilling.

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I think he's gorgeous, but acting isn't really his thing and it isn't hers either, at least not yet. She needs to learn to emote and put a moratorium on her deer in headlights reactions, and he needs to learn to stop whisper acting every single line with horrible line readings.

Hollyoaks: Discussion Thread
Same here. Hollyoaks has its flaws, but Kirkwood has more pros than cons for me. And the last time he left, the show took a sharp decline down the drain. Though, Emma Smithwick's time on the show is underrated. Either way, the Metro article said his episodes are airing until June, so it'll be ages yet.

Chadwick Boseman dies at 43 of colon cancer
Thank you to everyone for bringing over all the recollections, memoriams, and memories in tribute to Chadwick Boseman. Seeing this news was jaw dropping, instantly devastating, and left me speechless. When I could find any words, it was just mutterances of my shock about the unfortunate news. Absolutely REST IN POWER to someone with more strength then I could ever dream of having. What a legend of a man and actor and may he live on from our screens to our hearts for all of eternity.

Anybody Ever Write their own Soap?
I tried my hand at writing a Days of Our Lives fan-fiction. It wasn't for very long but stories included Shawn having a breakdown like Mickey did back in the day. Breaking Abe and Lexie up; Abe and Celeste would eventually get together and Lexie would get with ... Billie! I don't remember much else for my plans. I wrote it around 2006 or 2007. As for original content, I wrote two shows. My first was titled "Secrets We Share." All I remember in regards to story is that Cynthia Preston's character was obsessed with Julian McMahon's, who was married to Rebecca Herbst. At one point, Preston's character left her rival to die on some train tracks. I think I also had a high school bullying story. The one I remember most I called "Suburban Mafia." Through summaries, this show had 5 seasons, with a wrapped up ending. It was based on an Italian family. The set up was like my own, but the characters were exaggerated versions, obviously. I gave my brother bipolar disorder who was eventually killed off by an ex running him over. She was abused by her dad and ended up committing suicide. Made my cousin a stripper to pay for nursing school, my older sister was a drug addict whose future husband would be murdered by our deviant uncle because he was black ... and was actually her father! My Mom and my brother's best friend had an affair after my brother died and my Dad ran out on us. My character was raped and blamed my aforementioned sister. He also came out of the closet (duh!), and had a love interest, but broke it off after my uncle kidnapped my rapist and tried to persuade me to kill him. Said uncle thusly died in an explosion. I deported my grandparents. My little sister started out as the typical superficial popular teenage bitch who wasn't afraid to use sex to get what she wanted from boys, with an ex-friend as her rival. My paternal aunt (married to the uncle and my cousin being her daughter) was an alcoholic and at the time I thought I was so clever casting/imagining Kristian Alfonso as my Mom and Crystal Chappell as my Aunt. She had yet to return to DAYS when I wrote it.

Soap Opera Cast Lists and Character Guides- Cancelled and Current
I'd imagine once GL is done, all the others will seem like child's play. OLTL will especially be a treat for me. Thanks for all the work you do.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Considering she (presumably) hasn't been mentioned in donkey's years, I like to think she's disowned them all. Maybe she's the killer, then? The children can survive, I'm not a monster. Their last names are Sugden which is a good start. Andy can come back and take care of them since we're playing fan-fiction. Daz too, after Adam briefly returns to get closure with Victoria after Moira is forced to turn herself in for Emma's murder by the killer. Adam takes Isaac with him. Scott and Kelly return and change April's name to Windsor. Samson and Lydia are run out of town, getting a rare reprieve from the killer. Ross retrieves Moses. Charity, with help from Jamie, convinces Kim to protect Noah, reclaiming his Tate name once more. Liv can move in with Victoria. Rhona and Paddy get the hell out of dodge with their sproggs. We really just need to make sure the Dingle name itself is squashed once and for all. As for the killings themselves, I would start with Cain. He's done the most damage. He gets the most brutal death. Jasmine returns to help Debbie cope and they reunite, until Debbie is murdered. Jasmine leaves town heartbroken. Sam's death would be gentle. Charity gets the most epic death. Mandy and Marlon's deaths are swift to avoid their wailing for our benefit. Aaron and Chas die together. Belle's voices come back and convince her she's the killer so she kills herself. End with Zak. Okay, I don't if know I missed anyone but I think I'm done with this craziness now.
