  1. I can’t listen to her for too long because she makes me forget to breathe.
  2. I must be itching for a SKINS rewatch because I was most excited for that brief glimpse of Gendry.
  3. Not early Fox, but I did love short term shows Tru Calling and Point Pleasant.
  4. In an ideal world, what actors/characters would you include in a revival?
  5. Bless Linda Dano not knowing how to use hashtags.
  6. The music to bring on Mirren/Momoa sounds like it would be a great soap opera theme.
  7. Am I dumb for thinking the listing price is really low by today's standards?
  8. Props to you for putting Kirsten Dunst. Her performances in All Good Things and Meloncholia should've been nominated. Thandie Newton being snubbed for Crash was inexcusable. And some of those names, Donald Sutherland, Robin Wright, Steve Buscemi, Michael Sheen, Ewan McGregor are names I naturally assume have been nominated for something because they do have accolades elsewhere. I'm never good at these games myself. My mind always goes blank as if no knowledge has ever been occupied.
  9. It was until the reveal. The aftermath ruined so many characters that still haven't recovered.
  10. Shortland Street, a New Zealand soap opera, has had some great promos. High production values, makes you want more, and with these two examples, the stories told didn't disappoint either.
  11. Oh that's awesome. It makes things so much more interesting.
  12. Glamorama by Bret Easton Ellis. I love being in this f*cked up world Ellis has created. Victor is such a duplicitous little sh*tstain, but so entertaining and grossly charming. And, of course, the memories of the 90's that come with all the mentions of the celebrities of the time, some I had forgotten, is a treat
  13. When it comes to music, I rarely ever "know" who these artists I listen to are, being I usually stick to the indie scene. I've listened to Death Cab for Cutie since 2004/5, but if you showed me a picture of the lead singer, whose name I don't even know without looking it up, I'd have no idea who he is. So with Ryan Adams, whose music can be beautiful and transcendent, I had no idea whatsoever of the person he is, or what people thought of him. This is an eye opener. Albert Hammond, Jr. is another favourite mine and to read their ugly history together is unsettling. Good on Mandy Moore for stepping up and backing up the claims. It goes to show that this is barely the beginning of the work that needs to be done.
  14. Thank God. Someone has been really trying it this year.
  15. I literally cackled. Thank you, Khan. How interesting that Julianne seemingly doesn't have any Italian ancestry and yet ... I guess somebody somewhere was doing something they shouldn't have been doing.
  16. Ah, I didn't realize he was making a point about how long the other nominees are. Thanks for clue-ing me up. As for the lead male category, it really is a shame Bradley Cooper has lost any hype/hope at winning. I've been critical of his last two nominations, but he should have been the front runner this year. I don't know why he isn't. Glenn Close absolutely deserves it this year. The Wife will be a forgettable film, but her performance in it is outstanding. I will be rooting for her to win, and that's coming from someone that champions A Star is Born and absolutely loves Olivia Colman. I do believe the latter will be nominated again in future and will eventually have her time.
  17. For this year maybe, but overall, not even close.
  18. Arlene Francis resembles Helen Mirren in that beautiful picture of her.
  19. I guess you never watched One Tree Hill. Her character, Haley Scott, was a singer too. This was one of the songs she sang on the show.
  20. I read an article about that today. It would be great if we got a surprise interview with Alexandra Isles, nee Moltke.
  21. Looking up the actors who played Philip 'Chance' Chancellor before John Driscoll is blowing my freaking mind. So obviously there is Penn Badgley, who is having a career high right now with YOU. Then there is Thomas Dekker who has maintained a steady and successful career as an actor ever since he left. But even the lesser known children who played him are actors that are instantly recognizable to me. I can't wrap my brain around the fact that "Uh-huh" from the The Little Rascals film played Chance. I watched that film all the time as a kid and he was my favourite part. Courtland Mead also voiced Gus from the animated show Recess, another huge part of my childhood. There there is Alex Lind who I instantly recognized as the kid from One Fine Day, with Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney. He also had the unfortunate task of trying to continue the Home Alone franchise. Both of them don't look too shabby either from the most recent pictures I can find. Now, Nicolas Poppone I don't recognize at all, but I found out he left acting at 13 to study violin. He uploaded this video in July 2018! I know this post was just random babbling no one should care about, but I needed to get it out of my system.
  22. I eye-rolled at that line myself. The article has a handful of typos as well. Still, it's nice to see what actors who left the business are doing these days. Did he and Sarah Michelle Gellar ever cross paths on AMC?
  23. Apologies if this was posted before, but I found an interview posted in September 2018 with Shane McDermott (Scott Chandler #2). https://www.cincinnati.com/story/entertainment/2018/09/18/airborne-he-cincinnati-heartthrob-where-shane-mcdermott-now/1337375002/ Does anyone have a preference for their Scott Chandler of choice?
