  1. I can't agree with that. Of course, liking him as an actor is subjective, but Scott Clifton has more than proved he is a highly intelligent individual.
  2. Colleen! I couldn't help but let my mind wander and hope this revival would lead to Brad still being alive, too. Maybe him and Drucilla are married in some amnesia ridden land. Plus, in this world, seeing Victoria seethe would be glorious.
  3. Margaret Mason Regina Gleason Please and thank you.
  4. Watching that trailer, Lincoln Younes (Casey Braxton, HOME AND AWAY, 2011-14) looks to be the male protagonist; a love interest for Denyse Tontz.
  5. I've been recommended his works for ages, and this is the book they had at Chapters when I went on whim. I'm enjoying it so far.
  6. Recently started The Line of Beauty by Alan Hollinghurst
  7. In no particular order, Irna Phillips Bill Bell Agnes Nixon Douglas Marland Harding Lemay Henry Slesar Gordon Russell Nancy Curlee Wisner Washam Clare Labine Anyone know who was writing THE SECRET STORM during the height of the Belle Kincade years?
  8. Had no idea Wendy Drew had passed away. Her name being included at the Daytime Emmy's In Memoriam was surprising for that reason and that they even bothered to include her in the first place.
  9. Considering Joseph Mascolo's passing, are you planning on writing an end to Stefano?
  10. It's taking me a long time because life got in the way and I paused to read How the Homosexuals Saved Civilization by Cathy Crimmins, but I've just now finishing up The Secret History of Twin Peaks by Mark Frost.
  11. Galen Gering guested for a sketch on THE JOEL MCHALE SHOW WITH JOEL MCHALE on NetFlix
  12. If the Dingles were just Charity, an evolved pansexual Debbie, a recast Noah when the time is right, and hopefully a good character in whoever this son is, I could get behind that. I share your hatred of the Dingle characters despite my affinity for some of the actors, but Charity is just too hard to let go of for me. And I find, she excels so much when she's away from the family because she's alsways been so much more than any of them.
  13. David Fumero (Cristian Vega, OLTL) will be guest starring on Brooklyn 99 this Sunday. A sneak peek ...
  14. I was strongly thinking about giving up on the show, but now that this happened I have to watch. Damn you, Joan!
  15. Wow, could this be some sort of f*ck you to Ellen or am I being a sh*t stirrer?
  16. Chris Overton was on Hollyoaks too.
  17. Cast your mind back to 2007 on Days of Our Lives. I know what you're thinking ... I am here for pleasure, not torture. But my fellow doubters I have a gift for you. Everyone remembers the blowfish known as Willow Stark, but do you remember her brother Jed Stark, who looked like he was going to be paired with Abby (Ashley Benson), before disappearing after a small handful of episdoes? Here's what he looked like then ... And here's what he looks like now!!! You can find much more goodies on his instagram @frankmentier Plus, for bonus points, I think it's pretty obvious he's an out and proud gay man too!
  18. Courtney Grosbeck (Coco Spectra, B&B) was on the season premiere of Homeland Sunday night. Since she's playing the lead's niece, I expect it will be a recurring role.
  19. Tell me someone else has read or at least skimmed this recent interview with Quincy Jones. He drops some fun Hollywood T about Cyndi Lauper, Michael Jackspon, Marlon Brando and more! http://www.vulture.com/2018/02/quincy-jones-in-conversation.html
  20. Thank you both keeping this going while I couldn't. My two biggest problems both sets of nominations are that Mother! should not be anywhere near a Razzie and I wish the Oscars didn't go the basic route nominating Meryl Streep and Denzel Washington again. However, the Oscars more than make up for it by nominating Greta Gerwig, Jordan Peele, Daniel Kaluuya, & Mary J. Blige. It seems the acting categories are locked for Gary Oldman, Frances McDormand, Alison Janney, and Sam Rockwell. I just wish Laurie Metcalfe and/or Saoirse Ronan could sneak a win in. But at the ame time, how amazing would it be if we could say OSCAR WINNER MARY J. BLIGE from now on? And to connect this to soaps (barring the obvious nomination of Margot Robbie), Rachel Shenton, who played the very popular Mitzeee Minniver on Hollyoaks in the early 2010's is part of the short film THE SILENT CHILD which is nominated for Best Live Action Short.
