How can you forget Cameron? It was a fantastic story. In the long run, killing Carl was as stupid as it gets, but still.

Speaking of, more and more the potential of doing a Loving murders type storyline with the Dingles becomes ever so much more delicious to me. Tina would have to return for it. And I'd keep Aaron alive because I am not killing off another gay character. He'd exit eventually, just not dead. Marlon could remain alive because of April being a Windsor, but he'd be scared out of town. And Charity has always been above the family so she'd escape the serial killer's wrath somehow. I'm thinking Lisa would be the killer, but that might be too samey from it's inspiration. Faith would abandon them again. But absolute victims would be Zak, Sam, Cain, Belle, Debbie, & Chas with Paddy one of the obligatory person(s) who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. And more could be added if it suits me.

Soap Opera Cast Lists and Character Guides- Cancelled and Current
Do you know what years Joyce Van Patten played Janice Turner on ATWT? Also, would it be possible for you to edit the first post to add a list of the soaps that you have posted about?

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
But with Coronation Street, it should happen. They have a strong handful of characters that need to be rested, which is what I think this exit is. If John Yorke can see the Branning sisters need a break, someone who was always a major champion of the Branning family (hence my earlier question) I think it could only mean that he is looking at the show objectively. As for Janine, I only started with Kirkwood so I found her story to always be consistently well written until her exit under DTC. I do agree to a fear that she could be ruined under a future regime, but I loved everything they did with her since I started watching.

Was John Yorke the one who basically championed the Branning take over in the mid to late 2000s?

Don't have time to watch any of the soaps anymore ... (cries!) However, I think she also killed some grumpy old man patient. I wish there was a good place to read good recaps so I could stay informed of what's going on. Alas, all I've got all their brief Instagram vids.

Hollyoaks: Discussion Thread
Yeah, it was a nice surprise when I put the pieces together from following him in Instagram. That he acquired his role while being out of the closet is a great step in the right direction. Say what you want about HO, but they stay being the most progressive soap.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I don't have time to watch the soaps anymore, but just the fact that the show brought back his awful brother character (although he had a clear bias from the get-go for being named Daz ) and really seems to be limping along except for the Emma plot, maybe it's good that I can't watch. I don't dislike them, but Dan/Kerry are completely stale characters now. And it saddens me to read about this awful Leyla/Pete/Priya mess of a story. Plus, didn't I read that the marble mouthed kid who Tracy attacked is still around? I don't understand what McLeod is thinking. If Charlotte Bellamy ever leaves, they might as well close up shop.

I've said years ago on her that one of Marian's kids should be running the Pub, maybe a possible grandkid would be a better option at this point though.
