Normally, I feel bad for the jilted party but not in this instance. I am ALL for Todd and Billy. I can't wait to see Sean sob over the loss of yet another man and he's left out in the cold. Too bad he can't just stay in London, never to be heard from again. I also thought that Tracy was so well used tonight. I've always loved her friendship with Todd since it started, but to see it so strong and cemented in this episode did her a world of good.

It started off with what I would have expected, but as it continued I was quite impressed. Could Kate Oates be responsible? It would certainly be more in tune with her work that Blackburn's. It's so strange that Sean O'Connor will be credited before her. He's very brave for choosing to put his name on work that isn't truly his.

The witch finally got her comeuppance; straight through the wind shield. What a wonderfully messed up character she was. A great story form start to finish. I'm still peeved that I didn't get to see Margaret slapping her from here to eternity, but Shorty is rarely that kind of show. I remember how shocked I was when Emma landed one past Kylie's face. Emma got my attention after that. Drew and Mo apologizing to Curtis made me feel so vindicated. I hope he can win Esther's affections from Finn, a guy I do not trust. I felt this way about Victoria when she started, and look how that turned out. But this is Shorty, so Curtis and Lucy are always in the back of my mind. After the Dallas/Ula switcheroo awhile back, nothing is certain. It seems like this polymer affects brain function negatively. This Vintage story is engaging, but seeing as Wikipedia lists Boyd as leaving sometime this year, where they go with his supposed delusions should be interesting. Sam Bunkall will be missed. Seeing how adorable he is in backstage videos, I can't help but have a little crush. I'm sure TK's body will do its best to distract me from my loss. However, it is odd that he wasn't more involved in Victoria's comeuppance. I wonder if they'll have him react to her undoing. I also must shine a light again on the wonderful Harper. She is such a rare treat on soaps today. She's fierce, strong, and kick ass without the writers ever having to tell us she is, and without her ever coming off as a bitch. They show us with her actions and Ria Vandevis always commands the screen. Her confrontation with Victoria after Harper had finally seen her true colours was electric. And as a Game of Thrones fan, I couldn't help but compare her black dress in those scenes to Cersei's when she took over the throne. Harper is a goddess after all. I love her terribly.

The short peroxide blonde hair does her no favours. It always horrified me to see her with that strong black eye make-up on CBB as well. Mirrors need to be refunded.

Throwing away the Campbell brothers is one of the biggest mistakes this show has made. A damn shame.

The Tony scenes, especially with Harry, moved me more than I ever expected they could. I wonder what will take Diane out of the village for Alex Fletcher's maternity leave, since I thought she would just leave in a huff over Tony being an idiot.

Episodes like today are clear reasons why the Dingles are awful creatures who make my eyes bleed. The only saving grace of those scenes was Nicola walking into the pub horrified. Robert's disintegration was most devastating. And of course Kate Oates had to once again leave us with one more instance where Robert could be a murderer. I'm a big fan of hers, but this stuff is rotgut.

I agree with you about the Belinda mess. Having her husband be a sleaze is such a tired way to bring her to the square. Why not take the opportunity to see if Neville himself could be a character in his own right. No, that would be too much work. However, Belinda wouldn't consider Walford her home as she's never lived there.

What a great soapy episode today. Finally, my girl Margaret is back! I am beside myself. The show did a really good job with Leo's cousin. Introducing him as a sleaze, but then flipping the script and shining a light on the true shady ass that is George. Leo's warning to Lucy had me so excited and amped things up a bit. I wonder if Dayna is going to have a fall from grace when George's lies are exposed. I've always remembered her line "We're all stupid under the right circumstances." I think she said it to Kane, maybe, and it fit her character so well. Murray and Wendy aren't around to pick her up this time so, it she does go into self-destruct mode again, it could be fatal. I skimmed the monthly preview on the main Shorty site for May, and it said a surprise departure will be happening. This could be Victoria's comeuppance, but it does make me fear for Kylie. What if she does get sent down and that's the end for her? It would certainly be a surprise,an absolutely devastating one at that. Jack would be lucky if he hooked up with this Darryl person. He's hot. #shameless

Man, this show isn't taking things lightly this week. Charlotte's murderer revealed, Tank and Andy responsible for the deaths of Hannah and Oscar, Ricky can't have any more children, and Maddy will have to get her arm amputated. The only other soap amputation story I'm aware of is Philip on DAYS. Has there been any others?

Vee, are you going to have a rewatch of the series before the new season starts? I haven't decided if I want to commit myself to that, yet.

I still think Emmerdale should win. I do agree with most of that list, but Ste/Harry, and them ruining Cameron's character should never be praised in any way. I've been reluctant to feel that Ste needs to go, but he's just unbearable now. He's basically an EastEnders character, someone that has made moves to improve himself, but is now constantly made to be a complete loser. If he and Tegan could disappear tomorrow, I'd be satisfied, and hopefully they'd let Amy finally return permanately in the process with a new man. It's always so nice to see her. I still despair about how great her and Lee were together. I've made my notions about what happened to Cameron's character clear already. Him and Celine could have surpassed the hole I've felt since the coupling of Texas and Dodger was cruelly taken away from me. The article also annoys me for not mentioning the fantastic additions of the Loveday and Nightingale families. Both have worked seamlessly into the show. I'm also left scratching my head at the exclusion of Trevor and Grace. The turn around they did with Grace in 2015 was something magical to behold. She was completely unwatchable when she first started, and as soon as she got her clown hair makeover and she "killed" Mercedes, Grace and Trevor both scheming and having dodgy deals behind each others backs, she became must see and a bonafide legend. I do admit to being shocked at Nico killing Patrick in cold blood. He definitely deserved to die a merciless death, but that he still is making Maxine miserable from beyond the grave is tiring. Maxine has been so miserable for long, she has long ran out of sympathy points. I just want her to go away, forever. Hollyoaks has a lot of great things going for it, but they make just as many mistakes. I do think the show, overall, is more enjoyable than Corrie and EastEnders. Even with their breakneck pace, Hollyoaks still knows how to build a moment and deliver a gripping climax. As for the James/Harry stuff. That finally made Harry interesting again, and James is charming enough where he never came off like a pervert. Harry is also a good character when he's allowed to be with his friends, Holly, Zack, and Cleo. However, we all know one of Kirkwood's biggest failings, even in his first stint, is developing true friendships and not just dropping people in and out of each others lives when it suits the plot. I would at least admit Grace and Esther seem to have been maintained pretty consistently. Nancy is probably the biggest question mark. Her friendships come and go like herpes. Okay, I think I've rambled enough now.
