  1. The true reason he spent so much time in prison?
  2. Florencia Lozano will be on the second season of NARCOS. http://deadline.com/2016/05/narcos-cast-florencia-lozano-chris-greene-atlanta-donald-glover-1201752719/
  3. Hs last day was Friday behind the scenes, so he'll probably be credited into July
  4. Not much of a throwback with that "thing" in it.
  5. Man, this show isn't taking things lightly this week. Charlotte's murderer revealed, Tank and Andy responsible for the deaths of Hannah and Oscar, Ricky can't have any more children, and Maddy will have to get her arm amputated. The only other soap amputation story I'm aware of is Philip on DAYS. Has there been any others?
  6. Vee, are you going to have a rewatch of the series before the new season starts? I haven't decided if I want to commit myself to that, yet.
  7. Vanity Fair article about Olivia de Havilland. If you have some spare moments, you won't regret giving this a read. http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2016/04/olivia-de-havilland-joan-fontaine-sibling-rivalry
  8. I still think Emmerdale should win. I do agree with most of that list, but Ste/Harry, and them ruining Cameron's character should never be praised in any way. I've been reluctant to feel that Ste needs to go, but he's just unbearable now. He's basically an EastEnders character, someone that has made moves to improve himself, but is now constantly made to be a complete loser. If he and Tegan could disappear tomorrow, I'd be satisfied, and hopefully they'd let Amy finally return permanately in the process with a new man. It's always so nice to see her. I still despair about how great her and Lee were together. I've made my notions about what happened to Cameron's character clear already. Him and Celine could have surpassed the hole I've felt since the coupling of Texas and Dodger was cruelly taken away from me. The article also annoys me for not mentioning the fantastic additions of the Loveday and Nightingale families. Both have worked seamlessly into the show. I'm also left scratching my head at the exclusion of Trevor and Grace. The turn around they did with Grace in 2015 was something magical to behold. She was completely unwatchable when she first started, and as soon as she got her clown hair makeover and she "killed" Mercedes, Grace and Trevor both scheming and having dodgy deals behind each others backs, she became must see and a bonafide legend. I do admit to being shocked at Nico killing Patrick in cold blood. He definitely deserved to die a merciless death, but that he still is making Maxine miserable from beyond the grave is tiring. Maxine has been so miserable for long, she has long ran out of sympathy points. I just want her to go away, forever. Hollyoaks has a lot of great things going for it, but they make just as many mistakes. I do think the show, overall, is more enjoyable than Corrie and EastEnders. Even with their breakneck pace, Hollyoaks still knows how to build a moment and deliver a gripping climax. As for the James/Harry stuff. That finally made Harry interesting again, and James is charming enough where he never came off like a pervert. Harry is also a good character when he's allowed to be with his friends, Holly, Zack, and Cleo. However, we all know one of Kirkwood's biggest failings, even in his first stint, is developing true friendships and not just dropping people in and out of each others lives when it suits the plot. I would at least admit Grace and Esther seem to have been maintained pretty consistently. Nancy is probably the biggest question mark. Her friendships come and go like herpes. Okay, I think I've rambled enough now.
  9. Yes, the hot guy from The Vampire Diaries. Not the most helpful description, I realize.
  10. Trolling instagram ... I didn't know Jared Garfield was a dancer. I hope they somehow incorporate his skills into the show at some point.
  11. She did? I didn't know. LMAO! Obviously that's a giant lie because I cheered so loud when they announced her name it scared my cats. Tonight I'm the Happiest Little Fangurl in the World! I quickly thought of you when I saw her name. It's always great to see soap favourites succeed.
  12. I was surprised by how well Alison Slater came off. I thought they'd just write her as some awful witch, but though she was wrong, she still came off sympathetic. Denise Welch was great.
  13. Kristian Ealey (Matt Musgrove, originally on Brookside from 1998-2000, on HO from 2000-2003, with a return appearance in "After Hours" in 2004) has passed away at just 38. http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/brookside-hollyoaks-actor-kristian-ealey-7889449
  14. Renee Elise Goldsberry (Evangeline Williamson, OLTL) nabbed a Tony nomination for Featured Actress in a Musical for her work in Hamilton.
  15. I'm really getting annoyed by how much this show shafts Priya. We didn't see her get married, and now we can't even see her react to David having cancer, when the show had already had scenes building up to her finding out. At least the prospect of Robert and Charity working together has me excited.
  16. "Will they ever get rid of her?"
  17. Edna's death will be addressed on Monday.
  18. I agree that Ryan Thomas is not delivering, but his performance isn't helped when you have the worst writing team in soap. I'm enjoying the Phelan story. He's a digusting toad, but having a real villain on the show again is exciting. It's too bad he won't kill Eileen. She deserves it for being the stupidest woman alive. I begrudgingly admit I've actually grown to like the new Connor clan. It was just really unnecessary for them to be Connors. Billy losing his sh*t was totally unexpected. Brocklebank gave a great performance tonight. He's really been quite a strong addition to the cast. I wonder if this Lee will turn out to be Erica's brother, who has the same name. It'd be a waste not to make that connection.
  19. On the bright side, Ste was arrested yesterday, too. Unfortunately, his latest incarceration didn't last.
  20. I wonder what the reason is that Jay is referred to as Mitchell on screen, but is still credited as Brown. It annoys me.
  21. I was happy to see Russ Tamblyn, but in this same field, I was kind of hoping for Amber, too. I've heard Jim Belushi can be good, but his awful sitcom has me quaking at his appearance. Hopefully his stint will be small.
  22. I was so excited, I read the part of the missing names as if they were shoo-ins. I should have known better because a part of remembered that Ontkean wasn't a part of it, but I waved it off. Still, impressive.
  23. So many feelings are happening to me with that cast list. I'm happily surprised to see Lara Flynn Boyle returning. There are a lot of the bigger names coming on board who I'm excited about, but it'll also be nice to see Bailey Chase as well. I've always been a fan of his.
