I wish the rumors of him being Todd were true. I'd welcome Todd, Blair, Starr and Jack and you can get rid of Brando, Willow, Michael and Sasha. Roger Howarth is a good actor, but I don't know that he's versatile enough to create a third interesting character on the same show. Todd would've been an easy fit who could reinvigorate the show. Austin is just snoozeworthy and attaching him to the Quartermaine family while killing off his father without an appearance makes it feel pointless.

On the subject of the Spencer recast, my thing is, the write those teen characters in such an immature way that I wish they'd kept him on screen the past few years instead of MIA in boarding school. I don't think he would've been out of place in a teen set that acts like they're 12 years old. Based on the stories they got he wouldn't have needed to be a romantic lead or anything other than a child anyway. With that said, I LOVE the recast and I'm glad they're giving Trina something real to do. I just wish the character hadn't been MIA for so long.

I think so. I mean, look at that Obsolete Video guy on You Tube who already posted a very rare Y&R episode from the 70s. Just from the teasers he's posted of end credits (in color) of various soaps, it tells me there's tons out there we don't know about that is in color and good condition.

Honestly, they probably make decent money with their youtube so good for them! I didn't hate Freddie and I didn't mind when he gained weight, but he's no big loss if he doesn't want to return. I'd love if they bring Sonny back to recast with Zach Tinker who played Fenmore on Y&R.

The writers seem to like Paris, but this is going to be a disaster and lead to her exit. She'll probably end up either sleeping with Finn or getting obsessed and likely will steal that baby knowing how Brad Bell works. I just can't see this story being a positive for her on a show like B&B. Steffy is their female lead so nobody is going to win against her. It's a shame they couldn't think of anything better because Paris is a good find for them.

I started watching this when I heard about the ridiculous series finale and I'm loving it. I'm almost done with the first season and this reminds me of a cross between The Young and the Restless from the Bill Bell era and Passions. It's funny because I've seen clips and heard about how ridiculous it gets, but you can see promise in this first season. This is written and paced like a 5 episode a week daytime soap and I feel like if you take the overall story plan for season one and give Tyler Perry a full staff of writers you could have a good daytime soap. The characters are interesting and I can see years of story out of them so it's sad to know Tyler Perry let his ego get in the way. Still, with that said, I do think he's the only person I can think of who could bring back the daytime soap.

How dare you accurately describe Richard Avery like that and make me bust out laughing!! He was such a fabulous character, but like you said a sniveling little weasel. Poor Laura lol!

LOL! Yes, Kevin Dobson and that toupee. I do wonder about why they did that since Kojak was so popular and he didn't wear it there. I think he looked good with it so I'm glad they did, but I found that odd since he had already been on tv for years without it.

Sutton is iconic! She’s very shy and socially awkward and dresses horribly, but she’s very likable. She does cry in confrontation though. She’s an easy target because she isn’t a fighter, but she doesn’t give up which I like. She’s the comedic relief I’d say.

Did she immediately go to GH when she left GL? I always just assumed she was jumping off a sinking ship.

Did they mention the reboot at all? Considering it's Alan who is always in PR mode, I can see him not mentioning it since they haven't officially announced anything new. He seems so against breaking any type of news. Also, I was wondering, does anybody know if Liza Huber and Susan are still close? I ask because I notice they never seem to mention each other on instagram, which could mean nothing, but I found odd. I don't even think they follow each other. Both have very family focused instagrams so it's odd a mother/daughter wouldn't be included with all the other family pictures.

Ironically enough, Eboni mentioned on her last WWHL appearance that he’d and Heather are now friends and talk regularly. RHOBH: This Erika story about Tom and the car was SO ridiculous that I’m not surprised the women are questioning her like they are. Sutton said that’s what started her questioning things because she truly was confused and didn’t know what was going on. I happen to believe her.

Now that’s how you do a mid season trailer! That has me salivating for the rest of the season!!! Also, Garcelle *demolished* poor Dorit! No wonder she’s so mad at her lol! I didn’t expect any shocks, but the Erika stuff did surprise me. I didn’t expect Dorit and Kyle to be so vocal against her, I expected it to be Garcelle and Sutton only. This showed us just enough to intrigue me. This just may be their best season since season 5!

She basically giggled about Bershan with Luann, who she was just accusing of being a white supremacist. I feel like Eboni doesn’t like Bershan and was happy to see her screw up. This whole fight was a damn mess. We saw Sonja start it and when telling the girls what happened, Leah completely lied and made it seem like Bershan start it. I’m just furious after watching this.

Okay…that fight made me uncomfortable. I also feel like it was edited down to a flashback to protect Sonja. So Bershan is big and aggressive and that’s why Sonja had to jump into her face? Bershan has to apologize to her?! Eboni siding with the white girls over Bershan after everything she’s said? That was ugly. I do not think what Bershan did merited Sonja going off like she did. Yes Bershan messed up, but the escalation was wrong and steeped in racism. It’s funny that Eboni has been trying to make something out of nothing all season and now something offensive really DID happen and Bershan took all the blame and had no support. I’m not crazy about that.

I’ll admit, even though it isn’t great, it’s my most anticipated HW show every week. I can admit RHOP and RHOBH are better overall, but I still feel like the ladies always deliver moments that make it worth it for me. New York has always been my favorite though.

@VirginiaHamiltonWendy’s instant dislike of Mia reminds me of Nene with Kandi on RHOA S2. It’s literally out of nowhere and Mia did nothing to her lol. Such a random feud! I must say Wendy from the moment she was first announced is nothing like I expected. She has a messy side to her, which I do like because that makes a great HW.

Even without the earrings this is in poor taste, but with it? Unconscionable. I just wish we could hear her in a meeting with her lawyers because I can’t see them advising her that this is helpful. She hits Twitter usually about once a week with this mess, but of course won’t do an interview because she wants to control the narrative.

Also, people have given her the benefit of the doubt because due to the ongoing lawsuits she may or may not be able to talk about certain things, but she IS talking on Twitter and the show, she just isn't saying anything that would make you particularly sympathetic towards her. Does anybody think it was a good idea for her to post a picture wearing earrings that said "Widows and Orphans?" Like what the hell? She's mocking them. This tweet I also found particularly egregious and was glad to see Ronald Richards response: It almost feels like she doesn't have a lawyer because I can't imagine any good lawyer telling her that the statements she keeps making on social media are helping her case.

Didn't they cancel Peyton Place for this? That move seems so short sighted. I feel like had they given Return To Peyton Place another year it could've picked up.

Having seen Carlivati's work on OLTL, DAYS and GH, I think B&B would be his best work. I often fantasize about people writing for B&B. Brad Bell is creatively dead and that show will only be truly good when someone takes over. With Carlivati in particular, he'd shine by opening up the canvas. He loves delving into the history of a show and bringing people back, even if it's short term so I feel with him we'd get to see our favorite characters popping in. We'd have gay characters like you mentioned, but also the show would get it's sex appeal back and we'd have villain's and femme fatales, mysteries, comedy and the other stuff you expect on a show like this set in the fashion world. Brad Bell's writing is so bad I'd accept almost anyone taking over if I'm being real.

But she's literally in court, present day, fighting to prevent some of the victims from getting settlements so she can keep the money for herself. I just don't see how anybody can have sympathy for her. Even if she didn't know, she knows now and is still refusing to work with the legal system in any way. That doesn't sound like a person who is innocent.

She also knew about this since 2019 but is claiming on camera this was all a surprise to her. It’s hard for me to feel any sympathy for her when I’ve read the court documents and they prove she’s just plain lying.

Honestly, was she? If we look back at what Bershan said that got the women upset, it was incredibly tame. Has no one ever been out and told their friends they were boring or acting like old ladies? I know I’ve done that before and we’ve even seen that on this franchise before. I think she legit was trying to lighten the mood and get them to start having fun, but the reaction to her was so harsh that it kicked off. I blame Luann and Sonja more than I do Bershan. Bershan said sometime fairly tame, that Leah has been saying for two seasons and they blew up on her. The reaction to Bershan was over the top and made me side eye them. Nothing she said was more outrageous than things Ramona, Sonja, Dorinda or Luann have said in group settings. I also was disgusted in the glee Eboni took in Bershan messing up, when she’ll defend Leah for anything. She is as fake as press on nails.
