    I'm not sure I understand why the kids are so needy now, that Carly can't work.

    Uh, let's see.

    1. Mom stole something very valuable and then left them high and dry when she ran off with an Aussie.

    2. Jack took up with Katie, the same woman who helped sabatoge their parent's happy marriage by exposing their mother in front of God and everyone.

    3. J.J. was kidnapped and his parents had a few near death experiences trying to save him.

    4. The same woman that helped the kidnappers became their mother's best friend and business partner.

    5. Sam turned out to be a psycho that tried to kill Jack and Carly, but was shot dead by Parker.

    6. Now, only two or three weeks after the accident, their father has quit his job and their mother is going to work.

    I'd say that they have just cause in beeing a little needy of Carly right now. ;):P

    I'm not getting the Sophie/Casey vibe. They barely know each other, and she's up in his face for hiding things?

    That's the point Sofie's trying to make. Casey's all gung-ho about dating her, but she's basically throwing stuff in his face like "Look, I didn't know THIS about you...but yet you want us to be together?" She's kinda put off by it all. She just met Casey and he's already attached to her. In a way, it kind of scares her why this guy she just met is so deadset on being with her. But I think she tries to see the good in him just so she can say "Hey, we can't be together because I don't know you that well, but we can still be friends."

    It truly is heartbreaking to hear this. I wasn't an avid reader of the blog, but I did peak in every now and then. I had a working relationship with you two, as I made banners for the blog well up until mid-to-late 2007.

    I know exactly how it feels to be at a loss for ideas and to feel as though all the stories you could imagine have been done..by you or by someone else. I know how the disappearing essence of fun and creativity can seem to get you down at times.

    It will be sad to see Salem Lives end, but I wish the best for both you and Roman.

    I knew you'd like the Lily/Katie scene. There'll be alot more of those. Actually, in the coming weeks, Katie is going to feel like the whole world has turned its back on her. Of course, I'm sure, you'll eat it all up. LOL!!

    RE: CarJack, I got the idea from a good friend of mine that knows alot about what a true soap-mance entails. :P

    RE: Kit... :lol: Take it how you want to. She leaves next week, so I don't think it matters. :P (For the record...in some twisted way, I tried to write it as if she was working for the FBI....)

    Lily's always been the one to see the good in people before she sees the bad. She always likes to give someone the benefit of a doubt. I think that in the coming weeks, Holden will help Lily realize that Craig wasn't nearly as good of a man as Lily tries to think he was. I think in the back of her mind, she knows he did her wrong after the baby food crisis. But I think she's covering that up with a chunk of good memories (and perhaps excusing his actions because of his sudden obsession with power) and hoping she'll always remember him as a good man....and I think she hopes that by doing that...maybe others will too. But like I said, she's in for a rude awakening soon.

    It's not an engagement. That's the thing. Vienna wanted Henry to propose to her, but he didn't. Henry talked to Katie, who told him Vienna was very much in love with him, and he decided to give her a promise ring, symbolizing that one day he will propose to her. It's not an engagement, though. That's why Vienna's so upset.

    *discontent sigh* You've got to be more open-minded in order to see where I'm going with Katie. A different writer means different characterization of sometime one-note characters that have been made that way by a previous writer's monotonous pen strokes. :lol: I'm taking Katie back to the mischevious, loveable woman that I've always seen her as...but this time, I'm throwing in some maturity and some depth. ;) Just please free all those HateKatie vibes and work with me on this!! I hope when all is said and done, you can say that I've made Katie into a loveable character worth rooting for!!!!

    P.J. Yjay's not what I was trying to do. I was trying to show Katie in a vulnerable state. Her big brother just died. She treated him like trash. Her mother is dying. She's had so much grief lately that when she sees Henry, she welcomes the chance to take a quick break from grief. You see what I'm saying?

    E.C. arrives in his and Andy’s room. He stares at a picture. He puts it in between his mattress. He says again how Andy can never learn his secret…or anyone else at the University. He leaves the dorm room. He travels across town to another part of the city of Salem. He walks into an apartment building and up to a room. The room is a mess, as if a packrat lives there. Suddenly, E.C. removes his clothes to reveal a cloth tightly-wrapped and going across his chest. E.C. touches his scalp and peels it off taking off his hair…to reveal long, blonde hair. “E.C.” removes the white cloth from “his” chest to reveal breasts. When “he” takes off “his” pants, a beautiful feminine figure is revealed. “E.C” turns…to reveal "his" face!
